SIP Challenge 179 – Holidays!

Hey there… remember me?! LOL! I have been away for a bit but I have a few things to post this week so hopefully you’ll join me! Got a little inspiration last night, finally! I have been keeping busy helping my friend Kelly redo her bathroom and spending time with the kiddos! Over the weekend I went into Manhattan with Jim, Kim, Brian, Izzy, Kevin, Krissy and Brooke to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. It was great and we had so much fun! This weekend I have a Holiday party to go to, that should be a good time! My tree is up but I haven’t done any shopping! Gotta get on that! How are your Holiday plans going?! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday so time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I used a new stamp set and an older one from Concord & 9th to make a fun simple card! I started by stamping the face and greeting from the Concord & 9th Winter Wear Photopolymer Stamp Set onto a piece of Solar White 80lb in Amalgam Ink using my Mini MISTI so I could stamp it twice. On a separate piece I stamped the scarf. The images are colored in with Copics, mine are in desperate need of refills and new nibs as you can see from the shading! The scarf is cut out with the coordinating Concord & 9th Winter Wear Dies. My snowflakes are from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Merman Ink. I adhered the stamped panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and added the scarf with Thin 3D Foam Squares. For a little sparkle I added Hero Arts Clear Gems to some of the snowflake centers and used Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Brush Pen over the scarf! A fun card that would be easy to mass produce! Stamp some and take markers or pencils with you and color on the go! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Holidays Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you so much for spending some time with me today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 173 – Plaid!

Hello my friends! How was Monday? Mine was not great. I had a small boulder hit my windshield and put a giant circle like crack right in the middle. That’s going to be a pretty penny to replace. I tried to call the company who’s truck it came off of and they didn’t even answer the phone. It’s always something. Tristan was a beast for the first few minutes when I got there but she settled down eventually. Daniel was an angel as always. I got a caught up on a few things while Tristan napped and then did a little laundry when I got home. Taylor stopped by and we ran to Target. Back with the kiddos this morning! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I went super simple, just stamping! To create my background I used the Concord & 9th Happy Plaids Photopolymer Stamp Set and some Ballet Slippers and Minty Fresh Ink. I stamped the pattern with a block and added it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The snowflake is stamped in Ballet Slippers and the greeting in Minty Fresh, they are from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Photopolymer Stamp Set, using my Mini MISTI so I could stamp the greeting a few times to make it a little darker. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out and then added it to the card with 3M Foam Tape. That’s it! Simple and very non traditional colors, my fave! LOL! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Plaid Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG and we hope that you will play along with us! Thanks for visiting with me today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Fab Friday 148

Hello peeps and a very happy Friday to you! I have had a somewhat productive week. Got some projects finished and thought of some new ones to start. I’m off to see the kiddos this morning. Daniel has a bit of a cold a hopefully little miss Tristan will be in a good mood! She is in the terrible twos for sure! If she’s good we’ll be bad and go to Mc’D’s for lunch. ๐Ÿ˜€

Time for a new challenge over on the Fab Friday blog…

Most people see Halloween, not me! LOL! I dug out some oldies but goodies to make my card. It all started with the Simon Says Stamp Eliza Snowflake Die cut from some Purple Glitter Paper. I watched one of Kristina Werner’s Holiday card series videos and she made a gorgeous card with all different snowflakes cut from glitter paper. I would like all of the new snowflakes that Simon Says Stamp has released! I do love a snowflake and their ones are great! I happened to remember that there was a stamp set called Holiday Envelopes Sentiments that coordinated with the Eliza Snowflake Die. I stamped the snowflakes in Sugarplum and Carrot randomly onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Black Licorice. I adhered the snowflake with Glue Tube. A little sparkle was needed so I added Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst and Silver Sequins and the card is done! A very simple card with really non-traditional Holiday colors, but you all know that I like that! LOL! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Color Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Thank you for spending some of your Friday with me! Enjoy the rest of your day and have a fabulous weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚

Boy did this Summer fly by! ๐Ÿ˜€

Another Tuesday another challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I started by stamping the joyful from the Merry & Bright Photopolymer Stamp Set in Juice Box and then fussy cut it. Onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped it again in Minty Fresh to help with my placement of the pine branches. They are stamped in Minty Fresh and Noble Fir. I then adhered the fussy cut joyful with 3M Foam Tape and used my Stylus and the Juice Box Ink to add the little dots. Summer simple card with lots of white space! Paper Craft Crew 308

Hello there! Two days in a row! LOL! Woo hoo! It was a gloomy rainy day here, had to take Daniel to the bus stop in the car. Tristan and I had a nice day playing in the house. We both took a little nap on the couch! Last night I went into the Stampin’ Galley to make today’s card and had a little accident, I cut my middle finger with the tip of a pair of scissors and it bled like crazy all over the card! After I got it to stop bleeding and the fainting feeling passed I went back in and remade the card. I will refrain from sharing a pic of the Merry and Bloody card with you! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€

That card is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I used an impressive amount of goodies for such a simple card! I started by die cutting my tag using the Concord & 9th Holiday Cheer Tags Dies, the banner using the Concord & 9th Holly Jolly Banner Dies and the tree using the Concord & 9th Cozy Christmas Dies all from different shades of Grey 110lb. The tree is from the Concord & 9th Cozy Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set and the greeting from the Concord & 9th Merry & Bright Photopolymer Stamp Set, top part stamped on the tag and the bottom on the banner, all heat embossed in Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold Embossing Powder. I also stamped the pine leaves from the Concord & 9th Merry & Bright Photopolymer Stamp Set in Smoke onto the tag. My snowflake is from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Dies and is cut from a piece of Silver Glitter Paper from the Concord & 9th Neutrals Glitter Paper Pack. The snowflake and banner are adhered to the card with Glue Tube and the tag and tree with 3M Foam Tape. A little sprinkle of Pretty Pink Posh Pewter, Gold and Silver Sequins complete the card! I do love all of the different shades of grey with the gold embossing! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! I’m sure that I’ll remember making this one for a while! LOL! Stop by the BLOG to see the rest of the Team’s cards and share your with us in the gallery! Thanks for visiting with me today! Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 168 – Tic-Tac-Toe

Hi there! Did you all have a nice weekend?! I did! Saturday night I had dinner with Jim and Sunday I went into Manhattan to see my friends Jon and Mary and then met up with Kim. We had a quick lunch and then she took me to see the final performance of the play Carousel on Broadway for my Birthday! It was a beautiful day too so we wandered around a bit. I ended up walking seven miles! A good weekend indeed! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I went diagonally from the bottom left to the top right! I started my card by stamping the background using the Concord & 9th Happy Plaids Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman and Freshly Cut Grass using my MISTI onto Solar White 80lb. Next I die cut the tag and pocket from Kraft and Vellum. Onto both I heat embossed my greeting from the Concord & with Holiday Cheer Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. A piece of Fun Foam is adhered to the back of the Vellum pocket. I added Gold Thread and some pine that I die cut from Noble Fir using a die from the Concord & 9th Happy Holidays Label Dies. For my card base I added a piece of Kraft to Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The background is adhered and then the tag. A simple and fun card using my favorite colors for the Holidays! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! You can stop by the BLOG for more inspiration and we hope to see your card in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me today, enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 167 – Large Sentiment!

Hi there and a happy Tuesday to you all! I hope that you all had a nice weekend, I did! Although, it has been raining here since Saturday night and looks it will be raining through the rest of the week. Thankfully I have been getting a little more of my MOJO back so spending time in the Stampin’ Galley will be fun! I also got some Polychromos Pencils and Alcohol Ink and I need to try them! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€

Since it’s Tuesday it’s time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I have a few of the Concord & 9th Turnabout Stamps that I haven’t had the chance to play with so I pulled one out to have a little play! My background is stamped on a piece of Solar White 80lb with Hippo, Freshly Cut Grass, Merman and Fresh Lavender Ink using the Concord & 9th Lovely Blossoms Photopolymer Stamp and my MISTI. It’s adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For my greeting I used the FRIEND from the Concord & 9th Posie Fill-In Die and cut it out from Black 110lb. It’s adhered to a piece of Vellum with Glue Tube. To add it to the card I cut some Black 3D Foam Squares and hid them behind the letters. Just a few Basic Jewels Rhinestones scattered across from top left to lower right complete the card! I really do love those Turnabout Stamps, you can make awesome backgrounds in any color that you want!

I hope that you enjoyed my card! Be sure to stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s projects and share yours with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting and have a terrific Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thankful Leaf – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Happy September! Hopefully the warm weather stays around for a while longer even though technically the Summer is over. I had a great week up at the lake last week, a nice way to end the Summer for sure. I started watching my Niece and Nephew again, Daniel goes to full day kindergarten so it’s just me and Tristan for most of the day. I’m not looking forward to the cooler weather at all! How bout you?! ๐Ÿ˜€

Itโ€™s time for my August Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! The Thankful Leaves Dies are definitely my favorite from last month’s release! I love that leaf die so I used it again on today’s card. I was watching one of Jennifer McGuire’s videos and decided that I wanted to try one of her shadowbox cards! I did all of the steps to make the box for the card using Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the die cut inside I used just the outline of the Leaf Die. For my background I stamped the Thankful Leaves Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp in Freshly Cut Grass and a Sunflower, twice with each color, onto Solar White 80lb. The panel is trimmed to fit inside the card. On the front of the card I used the Leaf Die again with the inside piece to cut out some Lime Glitter Paper from the Summer Glitter Paper Pack. It’s adhered to the card front with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Along the bottom I stamped the THANKFUL, also from the Thankful Leaves Turnabout in Freshly Cut Grass. To go inside my die cut leaf on the inside of the card I used a piece of Heat Resistant Acetate and heat embossed another greeting in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. It’s adhered to the back of the die cut panel with Scor-Tape. All that was left to do was assemble the card. I’ll definitely be making more shadowbox cards, love the way they look!

I hope that you like the card for my September Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Donโ€™t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on September 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! Feature Friday for Concord & 9th – Grateful for Everything!

Happy last Friday of August to you all! I can’t believe that the Summer is almost over! It went so fast. I had a very nice week that I spent at Jim’s house in Pennsylvania. The weather was perfect, no rain and nice and warm. I even went in the lake! We also made two headboards from palette wood. I love the way that they came out! You’ll have to let me know what you think!

I think they add a nice rustic look that’s perfect for a lake house! I came home last night and didn’t hit any traffic until I got to the George Washington Bridge. There is always so much traffic in New York, even at 9:00PM! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time for our last Feature Friday post for Concord & 9th’s August release. Today we are featuring the Grateful for Everything Stamps and Dies! A beautiful floral spray that is slightly larger than an A2 card.

I felt like using my colored pencils to do a little coloring so I stamped the floral image from the Grateful for Everything Photopolymer Stamp Set in Black Licorice onto a piece of Kraft. Once I had finished my coloring I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.

My greeting is cut from a piece of Black 110lb and adhered to a card base of Kraft Card Stock with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. The floral image is added and I used my Scissors to trim off the overhang and the card is done! Nice and simple, you could stamp a few of the floral images and take them with you to color!

I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Feature Friday post for Concord & 9th! Thank you so much for visiting and have a spectacular weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚
