Paper Players 216

So, I had a lovely day in Manhattan yesterday! I met my friend Kim for Breakfast, we went to the diner and then I headed over to see my friends Joe and Penny. I had a nice visit with them. After, I called Kim so we could meet downtown, she was finishing up her laundry so I walked down Broadway to 72nd Street to wait to hear from her so I could jump on the Subway. There is a nice park there outside the Subway Station. I sat there with my headphones on listening to Sam Smith and just soaking up the sun and taking in all of the people walking by. I have to say that I haven’t just sat and “been” for a while and it felt wonderful. I need to remember to do that more often, especially once the weather gets warmer again. After Kim text me I jumped on the Subway and headed downtown. I had to pick up something that they were holding for me at The Ink Pad and then we headed over to The Hummus and Pita Company for a late lunch. I got home around 6:30 and remembered that I had some cards to make so I sat down and crafted for a bit before calling it a night. I do have a few pictures for you today. The first one is on Broadway. They have benches in the between the north and south sides of the street so I sat on one of those for a bit.

Broadway & 89th

Next is a picture of the Broadway and 72nd Street Subway entrance. This is where I sat and listened to my music.

Broadway & 72nd Station

You can see from the pictures what a gorgeous day it was, I have to admit that it was very hard to get up from that bench!

Today is Monday so that means that it’s time for this week’s Paper Players challenge. This time Jaydee has a Halloween theme for us…

Paper Players #216

I have made quite a few Halloween cards this year using stuff from the new catalog so I decided to dust off an oldie but goodie for this one. My card begins with a base of Basic Gray Card Stock. The first layer of my background is a piece of Basic Black. I used the Homemade Holiday Framelits to cut out three houses from the Black. I then stamped the images from the Holiday Home Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versa-Mark Ink on Smoky Slate and heat embossed them with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. They too are cut out with the Homemade Holiday Framelits and put back into the negatives on the Black. Over the top is a piece of Vellum Card Stock. All of my images are from the “Vintage” Fang-tastic Stamp Set and are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with my Skin Tones Assortment, Wisteria Wonder, Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers. I used my Paper Snips to cut them all out and adhered them to the Velum with SNAIL. The greeting is from the And Many More Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Tangerine Tango Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I adhered the Vellum to the card with SNAIL carefully placed behind the images. I love the depth that the Vellum gives the card, almost like fog and makes the houses seem further back and the stamp set is just too cute! I hope you enjoyed my card for this week’s Paper Players Halloween theme from Jaydee. I love having you stop by to see what I have been up to and I hope that you have a marvelous Monday! 🙂

Paper Players 215

I’m not going to make my usual comment about the weekend being over. I had a nice weekend, got some things done and saw a lot of peeps. Yesterday I finally got some cleaning done and finished up some projects. I also went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday’s with my friend Maureen. Not a bad day at all. Now I will begin my mental countdown to Friday! LOL! Oh come on, you know that those of you that work are doing the very same thing! 😛

If it’s Monday then it’s time for the Paper Players! This week we have a fun sketch from my friend Sandy…

Paper Players #215

I did ponder what I was going to do for a little bit, actually while I was vacuuming! I finally settled on this. My card base is a piece of Pistachio Pudding Card Stock. I stamped the parkay pattern from the Truly Grateful Stamp Set Early Espresso on Soft Suede. The butterflies are from the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set and are heat embossed in Calypso Coral on Vellum. I punched them out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch. Before I adhered them to the card I stamped my greeting from the A Dozen Thoughts Stamp Set in Early Espresso using my Stamp-a-ma-jig. The butterflies are then adhered to the wood panel with Glue Dots. For a little sparkle I “sprinkled” a few Pistachio Pudding sequins from the 2013-2014 In-Colors Sequin Assortment along the bottom right. I love the bold pop of the butterflies against the nice dark wood panel and I think that Pistachio helps balance everything out. There you have my card for this week’s Paper Players sketch challenge from Sandy. I hope that you like the card. Thank you for coming by to see me and I wish that you all have a marvelous Monday! 🙂

Paper Players 214 & Pals Paper Arts 220

I know that I say it every Monday but that weekend just flew by! I had another pretty productive day yesterday. I spent a lot of time in the Stampin’ Galley, pretty much the whole weekend. I was in there yesterday morning and then my friend Sandy came by and we played with embossing paste for a bit. After she left I did some more crafting and then had some dinner. I wanted to get finished a little early so I could have some down time and that’s just what I did! It was a very busy weekend, the Control Freaks Tour on Saturday and the Creation Station Tour on Sunday. Lots of crafting but that is always fun for me. I think I need to switch the Stampin’ Galley with the bedroom, I spend much more time in there!

Today is a double header, I have my card for this week’s Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge and my usual Monday standard for this week’s Paper Players CAS Masculine Birthday. First we’ll do the Pals Paper Arts sketch…

PPA 220

We all know how I feel about traditional Christmas cards but every once in a while it’s nice to have a red and green one! The card begins with a base of Very Vanilla Card Stock and I covered the whole front with a piece of Mossy Meadow. In the lower right corner I embossed the greeting from the Bright & Beautiful Stamp Set in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The frame is a piece of Brushed Gold Metallic Card Stock that I cut the center out of with my Stampin’ Trimmer. I adhered the frame to the card with lots ‘o Stampin’ Dimensionals. The large star is also form the Bright & Beautiful Stamp Set and is also heat embossed in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder on a piece of Cherry Cobbler and cut out with the Stars Framelits. My little stars are from the Pictogram Pinches Stamp Set and again are heat embossed in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and punched out with the star from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. A very traditional red, green and gold Christmas card for all of you purists out there! I will admit that it does have a familiar holiday feel to it!

PPA 220-WM

The second card for today is for this week’s Paper Players CAS Masculine Birthday from Jaydee….

Paper Players #214

I was poking around on YouTube the other day when I came across THIS video from Jennifer MacGuire. She showed you how to create a celestial background using ink. I absolutely loved the look so I had to give it a try! I used some Very Vanilla Card Stock for my base and a piece of Brushed Gold Metallic Card Stock to cover the front. My background is a piece of Watercolor Paper. I used Blackberry Bliss and Night of Navy Ink with a Ranger Mini Round Ink Blending Tool. I’m sure that you could use a Sponge Dauber but I like the ink blending tool, I feel it gives you a little better control. After I was happy with the ink coverage I took a paintbrush and flicked some water onto it. That’s what creates the dots with the halo like look. The other dots are a mixture of water and Perfect Pearls also flicked from a paintbrush. A piece of Vellum Card Stock is cut out with the Starburst Framelits to serve as a background for my… yes… feathers! LOL! I heat embossed the feathers in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto Blackberry Bliss and Night of Navy and cut them out with the Feathers Framelits. They are adhered to the starburst with SNAIL. The greeting is from the And Many More Stamp Set and again is heat embossed in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and cut out with the banner from the Snowflake Card Thinlits. I adhered that to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I’m so happy with the way the background turned out! It really does look like a celestial night sky.

I really hope that you enjoyed both of my cards for today, one for the Pals Paper Arts challenge and the other for the Paper Players. Paper Players 213 & Pics!

Yup, there goes the weekend just flying by as always! I did have a very nice weekend though so I can’t complain. Yesterday I went into Manhattan and met my friend Kim for breakfast. We went to our usual spot, the diner but we had belgian waffles for a change. After breakfast we headed over to the West Side to go to a flea market on 77th and Broadway. While we were wandering around we saw Bernadette Peters in one of the jewelry stalls. It’s so funny when you see a celebrity in the city randomly. After we were done there we walked back to Kim’s apartment and I stopped by my friend Julia’s house before heading home. It was little crisp yesterday morning when I left around 7:45, I had to wear a sweat jacket. It’s too early for that!! I did mange to snap a few pictures in my travels which by the way was a nice 8 miles in total for the day! The first picture I took on our way through Central Park. It’s Belvedere Castle, I think that it’s a neat little castle and there is a visitors center inside along with all sorts of scientific instruments that collect weather data.

Belvedere Castle

Next up is a picture of one of the exhibits located in the Rose Center for Earth and Space that is in the American Museum of Natural History. It’s called Scales of the Universe and has scale models of the planets amongst other things. I took the picture though because I thought it was really neat how the reflection of the buildings and the trees show up so clearly.

Scales of the Universe

Finally I have a picture of the Great Lawn during the day. I did take one at night a few months ago. I love that you see the park and then the buildings rise up in the distance!

CP Great Lawn

Now off we go to today’s post and it’s for this week’s Paper Players color challenge from Anne Marie…

Paper Players #213

I’m not ready to admit that fall is on it’s way just yet but I do love the colors. The base for today’s card is Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock and on top of that is a piece of Blackberry Bliss. My background is a piece of Very Vanilla and I stamped my greeting in Always Artichoke from the For All Things Stamp Set. The pumpkin and leaves are from the Fall Fest Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Blackberry Bliss, Baked Brown Sugar, Always Artichoke and Cajun Craze. I used the Fun Fall Framelits to cut them out. The pumpkin and base layer of leaves are adhered with SNAIL and some more of the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I love the leaves in all of the colors and the fact that there are Framelits for them is great! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Paper Players color challenge. Thank you very much for coming by to share in my day! Love having you stop by! Have a great Monday! 🙂

Paper Players 212

Again, the weekend was just too quick. I did have a nice one but still not long enough. Yesterday I spent some time being crafty, never a bad thing. I went over to see Kim and the munchkins for lunch and we got caught up which is always nice! I did have little bit of an issue yesterday with what we thought was my blog. Andrew text me to say that when he was looking at my post from yesterday he saw that certain words were highlighted and if he clicked on them he got a warning about a suspected phishing site. After some panic and research we found out that it was something that was actually on his computer in the browser. We found instructions on how to remove it and it wasn’t easy but we got it done in the end. So if you ever come across this issue on any web site you visit know that there is a good possibility that there might be something wrong with your computer. Why people can’t just leave the internet be is just beyond me! LOL!

While it’s Monday and I’m not happy about that I am happy that it’s time for another Paper Players challenge. This week we have a Happy Fall Y’all theme from Ann…

Paper Players #212

I don’t really want to think about cooler weather and sweaters and jackets but I guess it inevitable! My card for today begins with a base of Soft Suede Card Stock. The background is a piece of the Motley Monsters Designer Series Paper. There are some really neat patterns in that pack, I’m really loving this woodgrain one! I stamped my wreath from the Wondrous Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hello Honey and Soft Suede, the Wonderful Wreath Framelits cut it out. To back it I cut a piece of Tangelo Twist out with the Window Frames Collection Framelits and used the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack to pierce around the edge. In the middle I adhered a piece of Always Artichoke that I punched out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. My pumpkin is from the Fall Fest Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Tangelo Twist and cut out with the Fun Fall Framelits. Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere all of the pieces to the card. I wanted a little more color so I stamped the leaves from the Fall Fest Photopolymer Stamp Set in Always Artichoke and used the Fun Fall Framelits again to cut them out. They are tucked under the wreath and adhered with SNAIL. My greeting is from the For All Thing Stamp Set and is stamped in Soft Suede on Tangelo Twist and cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelits. Two more Stampin’ Dimensionals hold that in place. I’m loving the Wondrous Wreath in the fall colors and the woodgrain DSP from the Motley Monsters pack is just great! And there is my card for this week’s Paper Players theme challenge from Ann! I hope that you enjoyed it and that we can keep fall at bay for as long as possible! LOL! Thank you for checking in with me today! Try and enjoy your Monday! 🙂

Paper Players 211 & The Creative Blog Hop!

Hello peeps! It’s so nice to have off on Monday isn’t it?! I am thoroughly enjoying my weekend and hope that you are too. I went into Manhattan last night for some dinner at my friends Bev and Jason’s apartment. They are the people that my friend Kim watches the dogs for when they go away for the weekend. Always a good time but a late night! Andrew retrieved me from the train station and brought me home. Such a good guy. Today I have been asked to be part of a fun little blog hop called the Creative Blog Hop. I’m honored that my friend Sandy Mathis has tagged me to participate! You may have heard about it already, but if not, it is a venue for crafters of all kinds to talk about ourselves a bit and hopefully make a few new friends along the way. Sandy has a great blog called Stamp with Sandy. She posts regularly and is quite the talented stamper and a very good friend! You can see her post for the Creative Blog Tour here and then make sure and take a look at the rest of her posts!

The hop asks us to answer four questions about ourselves so here goes!

What am I working on now?

I’m always working on lots of things at the same time! I have my weekly Design Team commitments, Blog Tours and regular posts. I’m actually starting to get interested in Mixed Media and got some supplies on Saturday so I’m going to give that a try. What doesn’t kill us makes us more creative right?!?!

How does my work differ from others?

I think that we all have a certain style of card making that we love, mine is collage. I love to see how I can get different elements to work together and look cohesive. I also enjoy lots of other styles and try to be as varied in my projects as I can. We have to keep it interesting not only for our wonderful readers but for ourselves too!

Why do I create what I do?

I started making cards as a creative outlet. I think that paper crafting is a great way to express yourself and it helps me relax. My creativity has turned into a loyal following of blog readers that I have gotten to know over the past few years and now can call them friends. So I guess the best reason that I can think of why I do what I do is to stay connected to my peeps!

How does my creative process work?

I spend a lot of time looking on Pinterest and SplitCoast. I get inspiration form the world around me too. I can be walking down the street in Manhattan and see a sign or building and that can inspire me with colors or shapes. I also am lucky in that I have a photographic memory., I can sometimes put a card together on the train on the way home or while I’m sitting at my desk at work all in my head.

Now, I am honored to get to tag two of my favorite paper crafters in the Creative Blog Hop!

Wendy Weixler

Wickedly Wonderful Creations

Wendy

I am a Stampin’ Up! demo and love using this blog as a creative outlet. I have three great kids, a wonderful husband and a houseful of pets – a toy poodle, two parakeets, and two fish!! Life is good … 🙂

I’m very lucky to have gotten to know Wendy and have spent lots of time with her at Convention and chatting on Facebook! She is a truly wonderful person that I’m happy to call my friend!

Carolyn’s Card Creations

Carolyn

Hi, my name is Carolyn. I’m Mother of 2 gorgeous girls and I’ve been married for 29 years. I have a passion for paper. I started Scrapbooking in 2001 and Cardmaking followed in 2002 and quickly took over. I’ve been teaching ever since. I joined Stampin Up in May 2009 and absolutely love the products and the friendships I’m making.

Carolyn and I have become good friends even though she lives on the other side of the world! We often FaceTime and I have even been lucky enough to have received some TimTams in the mail! Love my little Aussie!

So now next Monday Wendy and Carolyn will select some more people to introduce you to so make sure that you check in with them next week!

Now on to our regularly scheduled programming! Even though it doesn’t feel like Monday it is! That’s a good thing! So if it’s Monday that means it’s time for the Paper Players challenge. This week it’s a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge from Nance…

Paper Players #211

I went with the first row down. Sometimes you just need a bright, cheerful birthday card so that what I did. The base of the card is Daffodil Delight Card Stock, I rounded the corners on it and the next layer of Pumpkin Pie with the Project Life Corner Rounder. On top of the Pumpkin Pie I have a piece of Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper that I cut out with the Project Life Card and Labels Framelits. I ran it through the Big Shot again using the Circles Collection Framelits to cut out the notch on the left side. My cupcake is from the Cupcake Party Stamp Set and is stamped in Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo and punched out with the Cupcake Builder Punch. I mounted it to a piece of Tempting Turquoise that I punched out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. It’s tucked into the notch and adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Rich Razzleberry and I again used the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits to cut it out, Stampin’ Dimensionals hold it in place too. I felt it needed a little something more so I used my Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers to color some Basic Jewels Pearls. I put some tiny ones on the cupcake and then “scattered” some around the card. Like I said, bright , cheery and simple, a great card to liven up someones birthday, don’t you think?! I hope that you enjoyed my Creative Blog Hop post and Paper Players card for today! I’m very lucky to have you all come by and visit with me, I appreciate it and it makes my days much better! Thank you and enjoy your Monday! 🙂

Paper Players 210 & More Pics!

I’m always so bummed when the weekend is over. They really do fly by when you are having a good time and I definitely had that! Yesterday I got some serious crafting time in which I always love! I ran some errands and relaxed a bit. Andrew came over last night and we had Five Guys Burgers for dinner and the watched the first Hunger Games. He hasn’t see them so we are going to watch the second one sometime this week. I knew that if he enjoyed Divergent he would like the Hunger Games and I was right! LOL! We have a nice long list of movies to get through, looking forward to it! I forgot to tell you yesterday that I would have some more pictures from my little trip into Manhattan for you today. The first two are from our lunch. We went to a new fast food place called Clark’s Standard. It was very yummy indeed! Here is a picture of the vanilla milkshake that I had a and the burger and onion rings that Kim had…

Clarks Milkshake

Clarks Burger and Rings

Let me tell you that milk shake was so thick you needed a vacuum to get it out, but it was delicious none the less! The last two pictures are of little miss Daisy and my best furry friend Hamlet…

Daisy

Hamlet

Daisy is a cute little Chihuahua and Hamlet is just a big furry ball of love! Doesn’t he look completely disinterested in having his picture taken?! He’s like “what do you think you are doing?!” I have one more of Kim and the four dogs but I’ll save that for later in the week.

So it’s Monday and the one good thing about that is that it’s time for this week’s Paper Players challenge. This week Jaydee has given us a sketch…

Paper Players #210

This was one of those that when I looked at sketch I knew just what I was going to do! My card base is a simple piece of Whisper White Card Stock and the background is a piece of Flower Pot Designer Series Paper. The circle in the middle is a piece of Whisper White and the frame is a piece of Blushing Bride that I cut out with the Circles Collection Framelits. All of the stamped images are from the Garden Party Stamp Set. Some are stamped on the White in Lost Lagoon and Garden Green and some more are stamped in Blushing Bride and Garden Green, two are heat embossed on Tangerine Tango with Crushed Curry Stampin’ Emboss Powder and they are all cut out with my Paper Snips. For the flowers that I cut out I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere them inside the circle. My greeting is from the same set and is also heat embossed on Lost Lagoon in Crushed Curry. Another flower is added to the greeting with a Stampin’ Dimensional and that’s my card! Even though the background is very busy I still really like it with the circle in the middle. I think that it helps brake it up somewhat. When I finished the card I realized that I only used one stamp set! That hardly ever happens! LOL! Oh, are you sick of the frames yet?! I think I have a few more to go! LOL! I really do hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Players sketch challenge. Thank you for stopping by to share in my day! I hope that we all have a good Monday! 🙂

Pals Paper Arts 215 & Paper Players 209

Hello my friends and welcome to the start of another week. I had a nice weekend but not a very productive one. I was having a hard time focusing on one thing, a little ADD I guess. I will have to seriously concentrate tonight and tomorrow night to get all my stuff done. Happens sometimes, what can ya do?! It was a lovely day here yesterday, the weather has been particularly lovely lately. I wish it would stay like this all year round. I spent some time with Heather and we ran some errands and baked a banana bread that was delicious! She is an excellent baker and makes it look so easy. I make some good chocolate chip cookies but that’s about it! LOL! I also got my label printer, it was on sale for $39 at Staples, let’s see if that makes me send out more cards or just print more labels! LOL!

I have a double post today but just one card, I rarely combine challenges but I was inspired by the colors for the Pals Paper Arts challenge and thought they worked well for the Paper Players too! Here are the two challenges…

PPA 215

Paper Players #209

The colors for the Pals Paper Arts has a little bit of a retro vibe and the Paper Players is just fun. My card starts off with a base of Pear Pizzaz Card Stock. I used the Circles Collection Framelits to cut out a piece of Strawberry Slush and stamped the Dotty Angles Stamp in Versa-Mark and heat embossed it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on the right side. My tag is a piece of Basic Black, I used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and the Project Life Corner Rounder to make it. A piece of Basic Black Baker’s Twine is tied to the top. The cupcake and greeting are from the Cupcake Party Stamp Set. My cupcake is stamped in Pear Pizzaz and Strawberry Slush, the candle is markered with Pear Pizzaz and So Saffron Stampin’ Write Markers. I used the Cupcake Builder Punch to punch them all out and Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere them to the tag. The greeting is heat embossed in more White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and the tag is adhered to the card with more Stampin’ Dimensionals. A few 2013-2015 In-Color Sequins are randomly placed and some Crystal Effects keeps the ends of the baker’s twine in place. I love the black tag and how it makes all of the elements pop! There is my one card for two challenges, the Pals Paper Arts colts and the Paper Players theme. I hope that you enjoyed it and I thank you very much for your visit today. Enjoy your Monday people, it makes it go faster! 🙂

Paper Players 208

And there goes another weekend! I spent a good part of the day in Manhattan helping out a few friends. I was running around and I didn’t go anywhere new so I didn’t take any pictures. However, I did take a few pictures when I was in PA on Saturday. When I was little and would go there the town was a lot less crowded and there were less houses. There are so many new houses behind my Grandmother’s but when I was standing outside the funeral home and looked across the street I could see clear over to the mountains…

Ringtown

You can see that the houses in the picture are newer, they weren’t there when I was a kid. After we got back from the cemetery we went to this little restaurant for lunch. If you ever happen to be in the Ringtown are and want some food I would highly recommend it. The prices were great, service was excellent and the food was delicious!

Creekside

And yes, there is a creek the runs along side the place! 🙂

Well if it’s Monday that means that it’s time for this week’s Paper Players challenge. For this one we have an unusual color combo from Nance…

Paper Players #208

I think that the inspiration picture is neat! My card starts off with a base of Basic Gray Card Stock. My background is stamped with the coral from the By the Sea Stamp Set in Hello Honey. The shells are stamped in Basic Gray on Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride and cut out with my Paper Snips. Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere them to the card. The love is a piece of Calypso Coral that I cut out with the “Vintage” Expressions Thinlits and adhered to the card with Multi-Purpose Glue. I stamped the You from the Work of Art Stamp Set in Blushing Bride and some gray iridescent sequins complete the background. I mounted it to a piece of Hello Honey before adhering it to the base. I love the way that the Love and the You look like they were made for each other. A simple but sweet card! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Paper Players color challenge. Thank you so much for coming buy and I wish you a happy easy Monday! 🙂

Paper Players 207 & Manhattan!

Hi there! How was the weekend?! Mine was great! Saturday I was in Manhattan visiting with my friend Kim and her sister Angie and brother Michael. We wandered around China Town and Little Italy. It was quite busy down there, I think because they said it would rain on and off all day but as it turned out it didn’t . It was a very pleasant day, not overly sunny and comfortable. I have some pictures from my outing for you. The first one is of the sign on Mulberry Street for Little Italy…

Little Italy Sign

As you can see from the sign China Town has taken over a lot! We stopped in a bar for a drink and also did some Limoncello shots, what else would you do in Little Italy?!

Shots

That’s me, Kim, Michael and Angie! As we were walking around I saw this man with a cat perched on his head! Only in NY my friends!

Cat Man

If you gave him a dollar you could take his picture, nothing in the city is free! I wonder how much money he makes a day?!

I’ll have some more pictures for you tomorrow so be sure to come back and check them out! I don’t know if I can top the cat one though! LOL!

It’s Monday once again and that means that it’s time for the Paper Players challenge! This week Sandy asks us to use buttons on our project…

Paper Players #207

I decided that I would use my buttons in place of sequins on the card. My card begins with a base of Blushing Bride Card Stock. For the background I used a piece of Lost Lagoon and adhered a strip of the Flower Pot Designer Series Paper down the left side. A strip of Gold Sequin Trim is adhered around the back before I mounted the background to the base. To create my tag I used my ruler to mark of the back and then my Paper Snips and 1/4″ Circle Punch. All of the stamped images and greeting are from the Flower Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the leaves in Garden Green and Mossy Meadow right on to the tag. The flowers are stamped in Tangerine Tango and Crushed Curry and cut out with the Flower Fair Framelits. The greeting is stamped in Night of Navy. I adhered the flower pieces and then the tag to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. My buttons are from the Brights and Regals Designer Buttons and are adhered to the card with Multi-Purpose Glue. I love the Lost Lagoon with the strip of Flower Pot DSP and Gold Sequin Trim! I think that it grounds the large tag nicely! Thank you for coming by to see my pictures and my card for this week’s Paper Players Theme challenge. I hope that you enjoyed the post today! Enjoy your Monday! 🙂
