SIP Challenge 110 – Primary Colors!

Another Monday for the books! I was relatively productive, got a few things done in the morning, did a little cleaning and some reading. After dinner I ran to BJ’s with Heather and bumped into Andrew’s Parents. So nice to see them! I have no idea what’s on for today but I’m sure that it will be a good time! 😀

It’s Tuesday so time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I went with a shade of one of the colors! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used my MISTI to stamp the large and small hearts and greeting from the Concord & 9th Cuddles & Hugs Photopolymer Stamp Set on the inside and outside of the card in Bubblegum and Black Licorice. I also stamped an additional greeting on the inside. To cut out the heart on the outside I used the Concord & 9th Heartstrings Dies. All that was left to do was to add Pretty Pink Posh Ballerina Pink and Watermelon Sequins! A simple card that is stepped up with the negative die cut on the front! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Primary Colors Challenge! We hope to see your card in the gallery so stop by the BLOG for a little more inspiration! Thanks for visiting! Have an interesting Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 109 – A Sketch!

It was a rainy Monday morning here but it did stop right at 1:00PM just like they said it would! That never happens! LOL! I got all caught up on my comments and went through more of the Stampin’ Galley overabundance in the morning and then went over to see Daniel at my Parent’s house. He is still just the cutest little boy! After dinner we watched PJ Masks together and then I came home and spent a little time with Taylor. Jim stopped by a little later and we watched TV and planned out next DIY project. Can’t wait to get started on that! I’ll be sure an post pictures when we are done! I think that Andrew is going to come by for a while today, will be good to see him! 😀

It’s Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Today’s card starts off with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Flower Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp with Pool Party Card Stock and Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder to create a panel. It’s backed with a piece of Desert Storm 80lb and adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Wonderful Words Dies and is cut from a piece of American Crafts Gold Glitter Card. To adhere it to the card I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. A few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins fill in some of the space on the embossed panel and the card is done! I think that this would make a nice elegant wedding card, especially with the Tiffany colors! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Sketch Challenge! Go on over to the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 108 – Fabulous Flowers!

Hello my friends! I’m so happy that you liked the pictures from this weekend’s projects! Jim says thank you too! Yesterday I did get a few things done in the morning, ran to the Post Office and had dinner with my Parents and Taylor. The child then came to my house and hung out with me for a while. I watched a little TV before bed to unwind a bit. I have a few phone calls to make this morning and then some projects to get finished! 😀

It’s Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Ahh, florals! I have way too many how about you?! LOL! I started my card with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. To create my panel I used another piece of 110lb Card Stock and the Concord & 9th Hope Labels Die. My flowers and greeting are from the Concord & 9th Hope Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers in Grape Soda and Juice Box, the leaves in Jalapeño and the greeting in Juice Box. To make the HOPE a little sparkly I adhered a piece of Silver Glitter Card Stock to the card base before adhering the panel to the card with 3M Foam Tape. A fun simple card with some neat flowers and a fun greeting! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the team’s cards and let’s see your floral creation in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 106 – Christmas in July!

Well, that was a nice long day in the city! I got in around 9:00 and headed up to the Apple Store to pick up an iMac for a friend of mine. Unfortunately it wasn’t ready, so after about four phone calls and lots of waiting I finally was able to get it at 4:00! Let me tell you, they are pretty heavy when you have to carry them for a few blocks! I made it back to the apartment seconds before the heavens opened! After I got the new one set up I had to pack up the old one and send it off to Maine. Again, heavy taking it to the UPS Store and $100 to ship it! Yikes! By the time I got home it was 8:15 so I came in and made my card for today and then I was done! LOL! This morning I’m going to pick up my friend Chantal and go and watch her granddaughter surf in over in Long Beach! Later on a BBQ at Steph’s! Happy Independence Day peeps! Fun times! 😀

It’s Tuesday so time for a new Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Ahh, it has been ages since I have made a Christmas card! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil and Lake Shores Ink with my Mini Ink Blending Tool to add some color to the card. The fun frame is the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Frames Die cut from a piece of Merman. I added Acetate to the back and some 3M Foam Tape and filled it with Little Things by Lucy Brushed Gold Sequins. The snowflake is cut from Gold Mirror Card using the Simon Says Stamp Eliza Snowflake Die and is adhered to the frame with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. It’s been forever since I have made a shaker card and that frame die is perfect for them! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Christmas in July Challenge! We hope to see your cards in the Gallery so go over and check out the BLOG for some more inspiration! Thank you for visiting! Have a funtabulous 4th! 🙂

SIP Challenge 105 – Summer Fun!

I had a lovely first half of the day in Manhattan yesterday with Isabella! I missed her! We got all caught up and I got to see her new office too! So nice! I took the 3:07 train home and Taylor picked me up at the train station and we spent the rest of the day together. We ran a few errands and had some sushi for dinner. Today I need to get crafty and make some cards for the week! I also need to get all caught up on my blog comments! I’m way behind!! 😀

Its Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and I used my Mini Ink Blending Tool to add some Lake Shores Ink to give it some subtle color. Next up is a piece of Solar White 80lb that I added Sunkist to and then cut out with the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies. That is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My boat and greeting are from the Simon Says Stamp Sail Away Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped both with my Mini MISTI and then cut out the sailboat with the Coordinating Dies and adhered it to the card with 3M Foam Tape. The greeting is adhered to a piece of 65lb Vellum that I used the Simon Says Stamp Border Waves to cut the top of. A piece 3M Foam Tape is hidden behind it to adhere it to the card. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Sea Breeze and Sparkling Clear Sequins complete the card! I love using my inks to make card stock the exact color that I want, so much fun! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Team’s cards over on the BLOG! SIP Challenge 104 – Colors!

It started out as a beautiful sunny day but around 5:00 the heavens opened and we had rain for the rest of the evening. I did get a little crafting done in the morning and then ran a few errands in the convertible! I also helped Jim with some computer stuff remotely in the evening and Taylor came by to spend some time with me. Later on we ran to BJ’s with Heather so she could use her coupons before they expired! She is too funny! I’m going to have breakfast with Heather this morning and then over to Sue’s for a little bit to work on some Etsy stuff! 😀

Now it’s time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

A nice bright cheery group of colors, wouldn’t you say?! I’m still keeping it simple! To start my card is used my MISTI to stamp the solid part of the “feathers” from the Simon Says Stamp One With Nature Photopolymer Stamp Set in High Dive, Goldenlocks and Hot Mama ink. After they had dried I stamped the outlines in Versa-Mark and heat embossed them with Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Hot Mama in the lower right corner. A few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear and Gold Sequins finish the card! I know that the “feathers” are trees but I think they work pretty well! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink. Paper Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and lets see yours in the gallery! I thank you for stopping by! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 103 – A Sketch!

Another nice warm day with plenty of Sun! That’s a good way to start off the week, wouldn’t you say?! I got my craft on this morning and made a few cards, cleaned a little and set up some appointments for later in the week. I also made sure that I spent a lot of time outside enjoying the gorgeous day! After dinner I ran over to Heather’s to drop off the chairs that I borrowed. When I got back to my house Taylor stopped by for a bit and then some TV before bed. Not a bad Monday at all! 😀

I played with the new Hero Arts June My Monthly Hero Kit and some of the add-ons for my Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge card…

I started my card by creating a background using some Hero Arts Navy and Grape Juice Ink and a Mini Ink Blending Tool to add color to a piece of Solar White 80lb. While it dried I cut out the circle with clouds from another piece of Solar White 80lb using one of the dies included in the Hero Arts June My Monthly Hero Kit. Next I stamped the grass and tall grass using some Hero Arts Intense Black Ink onto the background and then adhered it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I added a little Soft Granite to the edges of my “moon” and then adhered that to the background. The cool cat is from the Hero Arts Color Layering Bengal Tigers Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Butter to Orange Ombre and Intense Black using my Mini MISTI. I used the Coordinating Frame Cuts to cut him out and adhered him to the card with 3M Foam Tape. My greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Intense Black onto the “moon” and the card is done! I love the way the Hero Arts Inks even out as they dry, even when you blend them onto paper! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Sketch Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards! We hope that you will share your take on the sketch with us in the gallery! Thanks for stopping by! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 102 – Masculine!

It was a pretty gloomy day here, rained a lot and was overcast for the rest of the day. I stayed inside and crafted and watched TV. Not the most exciting day ever but a productive one none the less. Today I think more rain is on the way but I will need to get out and do something other than be in the house! We’ll see what I can come up with! 😀

It is time for a new Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Just because it’s a masculine card doesn’t mean that it can’t have a little color on it! To my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I added a piece of Pacific Point to cover the front. My background is created with the Concord & 9th Triangle Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp, my MISTI and some Black Licorice and Hippo Ink. It’s stamped only twice, and I skipped a turn with I did the stamping. I trimmed it to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added it to the card. On the strip across the middle I stamped the world map and greeting from the Concord & 9th Map Love Photopolymer Stamp Set in Jalapeño and Fish Tank Ink and that’s it! I love that Map Love Set, it’s no longer available but maybe if enough of you like it they will bring it back! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Masculine Theme Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out what the rest of the Designers have done and let’s see your card in the gallery! Thanks for stopping by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 101 – Graduation!

Hello peeps! How was your Memorial Day? We had a rainy overcast day, not great for any outdoor activities! I spent the day doing some things around the house and then in the afternoon Jim stopped by for a visit! We watched a little TV and I got to see some pictures from the party over the weekend. I had dinner with my Parents and Taylor and then watched some TV. Today I’m going to get some crafty things done and then send out some emails. It’s going to be a busy productive day! 😀

So Tuesday huh?! That means that it’s time for a new Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Graduation! I don’t know anyone that is graduating so I decided to go with a more generic card! I started by stamping the cheers from the Hero Arts December 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit multiple times onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock using my MISTI and Hero Arts Sof Pink, Bubble Gum, Pale Tomato, Red Royal and Raspberry Jam Ink. The middle cheers is cut out with the Coordinating Die along with two more pieces of Solar White 110lb. I adhered them to each other and to the inside of the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. My second greeting is stamped in Red Royal on the inside under the die cut. To give the card a little sparkle I coated the die cut cheers with Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen and added a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins to the front! It’s a pretty simple card that gets a little step up from the die cut cheers! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Graduation Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and lets see yours in the gallery! Thanks for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 100 – Card Makers Choice and Blog Candy!

What does one do when it’s Monday and rains all day?! Why you stay inside and get some crafting done, do a little cleaning, spend some time with the child and run a few errands. I spoke to a bunch of peeps and got the shoe portion of my closet cleaned out! There was a little TV thrown in there for good measure. I will be picking Heather up again from the Car Wash this morning. This time it’s the inside! Maybe we will go and get a little breakfast?! 😀

Today is a pretty big day for the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! We have reached our 100th challenge!! That’s a lot of challenges! There will be a bunch of blog candy given out for the winners of this challenge so make a card and play along! Did I mention that it a nice easy one too?! Card Makers Choice…

I dug out some stuff that I haven’t used in a while! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the background I used a piece of Ivory 110lb and added a piece of DCWV Mariposa 12×12 Paper to the bottom. Around the top of the patterned paper is a piece of Stampin’ Up! 7/8″ Cotton Ribbon with a piece of Papertrey Ink Natural Twine tied in a bow. The panel is then adhered to the card with E-Z Runner Ultra Strong. My flower and leaves are die cut from Tangelo Twist and Island Indigo using The Ton Petal Cut Peonies Dies. I adhered the leaves to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray and adhered the flower to a piece of Gold Vellum with the same. Using my Scissors I trimmed around the flower and adhered it to the card Kool-Tak Clear Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Mama Elephant Labeled Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold onto a piece of Ivory, trimmed out with my Scissors and adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Ocean Spray and Gold Sequins just for a little sparkle! The inspiration for the card came from the patterned paper and I love that Gold Vellum! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for the Stamp, Ink, Paper 100th Challenge! We hope that you will play along by entering your card in the gallery! Need some inspiration?
