Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Anything Goes!

Hi peeps and a good Saturday to you! We are supposed to be getting snow today, I sure hope that they are wrong about that! It’s way too early for the white stuff! I’m popping in with a weekend post because we have a new challenge starting over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog today…

What a nice challenge to end the year with!! My card begins with a piece of Solar White 80lb. I stamped the LOVE from the Concord & 9th Love You So Photopolymer Stamp Set in Narwhal, stamping it off. The arrows are stamped in Merman. Onto another piece I stamped the solid LOVE in Merman and used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. From a piece of Classic Cherry Card Stock I cut out the LOVE and three arrows. My background is adhered to card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb., the Merman “stamp” with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner, the LOVE, slightly offset, with 3M Foam Tape and the arrows with Multi-Matte Medium. What a fun stamp set that Love You So is!!

Stuck on You – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Hello again! I’m back with my December Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I have the distinct pleasure of sharing a sneak peek of one of the sets from the December Concord & 9th release with you today! You can also see more peeks of today’s set over on the Concord & 9th Blog!

To start my card I pulled out a piece of Tim Holtz Watercolor Card Stock and used my Mini Ink Blending Tools to add Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade and Ripe Persimmon in a gradient starting with the lightest at the top and getting darker as I got to the bottom. The panel is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Stuck on You Dies to cut out a piece of Garden Green for my cactus and Cajun Craze for the pot. From the Concord & 9th Stuck on You Photopolymer Stamp Set I stamped the pot in Onyx Black. Along the bottom of the card I stamped the x pattern in Onyx Black along with the greeting in the upper left corner. The pot has tabs on the sides so I added some Scor-Tape to them and a piece of 3M Foam Tape in the middle. My cactus is adhered with E-Z Runner and the pot over the the cactus. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins for a little sparkle and the card is done! I love the way that dies cut in the needles on the cactus and the pot has that nice dimension to it!

I hope that you like my card for the December Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on December 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Christmas!

Hi all! Not as dreary here yesterday but still crisp! I had a very nice productive day with Sue! We got stuff done and went out and had a nice lunch! I got home around 3:30 and Jim came by after work. We grabbed some Italian for dinner and watched a little TV. We are all done with Ozark and will be starting season 2 of Stranger Things soon! Hope it’s as good as the first one! This morning I’m off to Manhattan to see my friends Jon and Mary. Oh how I love my little trips into the city! 😀

It’s that time again! A new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog starts today…

Another chance to make a simple easily duplicated Holiday card and this one is definitely that! Onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped the trees from the Concord & 9th O Christmas Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set in Noble Fir, Jalapeño and Freshly Cut Grass along the bottom. The greeting is stamped in Noble Fir and I used my Gold Signo Gel Pen to add a little “snow”! I actually did make a few while I had the supplies out, good to make a dent in the stack of Holiday cards! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Christmas Challenge! My Teammates have made some great cards to inspire you so head on over the BLOG head over and check them out! Simple Pine Merry & Bright – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Surprise! I haven’t done a weekend post in a few weeks! But it’s time for my Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! We featured a Shades of Concord & 9th Challenge for last month so I made a super simple Holiday card using teals and green!

The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the Merry & Bright from the Concord & 9th Ornamental Photopolymer Stamp Set in Peacock and then stamped the pine branches in Jalapeño around it. To add my little dots I used a stylus with Peacock and Merman Ink. I felt it needed a little something more so I added some more dots with my Silver Signo Gel Pen. Super simple Holiday card that’s easy to make and you could change up the colors to suit whatever your favorites are!

I hope that you like the card for my November Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! You can also see this post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Shades of Concord & 9th!

Happy Columbus Day! I hope that you are lucky enough to have the day off from work today! I’m happy to report that my Dad is home from the hospital, he came home yesterday. He is feeling much better thanks in part to all of your well wishes. I really can’t thank you all enough for keeping him in your thoughts. you guys are the best peeps ever! I even got to do some fun stuff yesterday! In the morning I took a ride into Manhattan with Heather to drop her brother off at Comic-Con. After that I went with her to look at some used cars, she is trying to find one for her brother. Boy is there a lot of garbage out there! LOL! After that I spent some time with my Dad and then watched a little TV and made my card for today. Felt so good to sit down in the Stampin’ Galley! Today I have some cleaning and other chores to do. What are you up to?

It’s time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

Shades of Concord & 9th means use any shade of blue or green! For my card is used the Aloha Friend Photopolymer Stamp Set and my MISITI to stamp the dashed strip onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Peacock and Jalapeño to create a background. The fabulous is from the same set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of 65lb Vellum. I used Multi-Matte Medium to adhere it to the card and added a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins to complete the card! Simple and fun, and who doesn’t like to be told that they are fabulous?! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Shades of Concord & 9th Challenge! Grateful Amethyst Leaf – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Happy Thursday peeps! I had a nice day yesterday with Sue. We got a lot accomplished and went out and had a nice lunch. There is always more to do so I’ll be heading back over again some time next week, I do love a productive day! Taylor stopped by in the evening and we had dinner with my Parents and after that some TV, binge watching Arrow at the moment and really liking it! Today I’ll catch up on This is Us and maybe I’ll get to some of the cabinet doors! 😀

It’s time for my Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! We featured and Ink Only Challenge for last month so I did a little ink blending on today’s card! One of my all time favorite images is the leaf from the Concord & 9th Lace Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed it in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Card Stock. I used the Coordinating Die to cut out the negative from a piece of Masking Paper and used my Mini Ink Blending Tools and some Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Dusty Concord Distress Ink to color it in. After I removed the Mask I added the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Some Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine is spattered over the card and while that dried I cut out the grateful from a piece of Gold Glitter Card and adhered it to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. I love the purple and blue hues in the gold leaf and never underestimate the effect of a little ink spatter!

I hope that you like the card for my October Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! You can also see this post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Ink Only!

Another cool morning here on Long Island, but it’s sort of refreshing sleeping with the windows open and enjoying a little fresh air. I had a nice busy day yesterday, I cleaned and did some laundry in the morning, ran a few errands and spoke to my friend Kim. Jim came by around 4:30 and we headed down to Jones Beach to go for a walk. A nice four mile walk, it’s amazing how good you feel after a little exercise! We stopped on the way home and picked up dinner and then finished off the evening with some TV. A pretty great Friday! I think that this morning I will try and get a few more cabinet doors done! 😀

It’s time for a new challenge and I have the pleasure of sharing my card with you for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge

I do love to do some stamping! To create my card I stamped the hydrangea from the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Photopolymer Stamp Set onto a Post-it and cut it out with my scissors. My card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock is place into my MISTI and I stamped the flowers in Grape Soda and then just the edges in Peacock using the mask that I cut out. My greeting is from the same set and is stamped in the same colors. The background needed a little something so I took a stylus and pressed it into the ink pads to create my dots! A nice somewhat simple one layer card that would be easy to make multiples of with the MISTI!

I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Embossing Challenge! We hope that you will play along with us and enter your card in the gallery over on the BLOG! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! Thanks for coming by and spending some time with me! Have a super Saturday!! 🙂

Welcome Pineapple – Concord & 9th Guest Designer for Feature Friday!

A chilly happy Friday to you from Keen Lake, PA! It went down to 40 degrees here last night, I’m not ready for that! LOL! I did have a nice day yesterday, Jim and I ran some errands in the morning and fixed the screen door. Then it was off to the lake to sit and enjoy, lots off people there to chat with. We had a late dinner and then it was off to the fire to end the evening. It really is so nice here, just peaceful and very relaxing, just what I needed! 😀

I have the pleasure of being a Guest Designer for Concord & 9th this month along with the rest of the fabulous Design Team over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! It’s our last Friday to feature a new product from the August Release! This week it’s the cool Pineapple Perfection Stamps and Dies!

I started my card by stamping the pineapple from the Pineapple Perfection Photopolymer Stamp Set in Black Licorice and then using the fill-in images, stamping them in Fresh Lavender, Freshly Cut Grass, Moonstone and Ballet Slippers using my Mini MISTI. The greeting is stamped in Black Licorice and then I cut them out using the Coordinating Dies. Onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I adhered a piece of paper from the Aloha Fill-In Patterned Paper Pack. All that was left to do was to adhere the pineapple and greeting to the card! I love that nice big pineapple and the fill-in images make it so easy to “color” it in!

I hope that you enjoyed my Guest Designer card for Concord & 9th! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of talented Teammate’s projects! I thank you so much for stopping by, I’ll see you back here on Monday!! Enjoy the rest of your Friday! 🙂

Sprinkled Sundae – Concord & 9th Guest Designer for Feature Friday!

Hi peeps and a happy Friday to you all! I spent the morning yesterday doing more purging! Three bags of trash and a bag of shredding! I think that I will do more of that today, feels so good! Last night was Thirsty Thursday and a good time as always! What’s on your agenda for today?! 😀

I have the pleasure of being a Guest Designer for Concord & 9th this month along with the rest of the fabulous Design Team over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! For the next two Friday’s we will be featuring a new product from the August Release! This week it’s the Fun Here’s the Scoop Stamps and Dies!

One of my friends always complains that there are no greetings inside my cards, so I decided that I’d make one with the image inside! To start my card I cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to 5″ x10″ and folded it in half. The outside front panel is stamped with the Sprinkles Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp using my MISTI and Merman and Sunflower Ink. I then place the Here’s the Scoop Die on the front and ran it through my Big Shot to cut out the negative from the front panel. Back into my MISTI so that I could line up the sundae from the Here’s the Scoop Set and stamp it in Memento Tuxedo Black. It’s colored in with Copics to coordinate with the sprinkles! My greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of 28lb Vellum and that is adhered to the inside of the front of the card with Vellum Adhesive. Love the little peekaboo of the fun sundae from the front of the card through the Vellum! There, now there is something even better than a greeting inside!

I hope that you enjoyed my Guest Designer card for Concord & 9th! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of talented Teammate’s projects! I thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your Friday! 🙂

Three of the balloons from the Happy Balloons Photopolymer Stamp Set are heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto 65lb Vellum. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. They are adhered to each other and my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Multi-Matte Medium that is strategically placed! My greeting is also heat embossed in Gold onto a piece of Solar White 110lb that is cut out with the banner die from the set.
