Hello and welcome to Thursday! I will be your guide today for some new items from Stampin’ Up! I got my Spring Catalog Pre-Order on Wednesday and mounted all of my stamps and played a little. Today’s post is for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches. This week Cindy has given us this clever little sketch…
I really like the sketch! 🙂 I also thought it would be a perfect way to show you some of the new items so here we go! The base of my card is Whisper White Card Stock and the background is Raspberry Ripple. I stamped the greeting in Whisper White Craft Ink from the Make a Wish Stamp Set* in the lower left corner. A piece of Patio Party Designer Series Paper is adhered across the top half. The next layer is a piece of Whisper White, the top corners are rounded with the 1″ Circle Punch, that I embossed with the Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Embossing Folder*. The bottom edge is punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch and then I embossed right above that with the Needlepoint Border Textured Impressions Embossing Folder*. Both pieces are adhered to the card with some SNAIL. The oval is cut out with the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies* and I pierced the edge with the Occasion Paper-Piercing Pack* and Paper-Piercing Tool. I punched out a piece of Whisper White with the Large Oval Punch and embossed that with Cloudy Day Folder* too. The butterflies are form the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set and are stamped in Primrose Petals and punched out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch*. I adhered them to the ovals with some Stampin’ Dimensionals. The greeting is from the Make a Wish Stamp Set* and is stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink. The two embossing folders are great and I love the Bitty Butterfly Punch! I hope that you enjoyed my Freshly Made Sketches card and your sneak peek at some of the new items from the Spring Catalog.
