Paper Craft Crew 264

Paper Craft Crew 264

Hey there peeps! Mid-week already! I managed to get a bunch of stuff done yesterday, some computer stuff in the morning and a little cleaning in the afternoon. I do so love a productive day! Had a little dinner with my Parent’s, Dad is doing much better. I saw Taylor for a bit, she is going to Massachusetts to see a friend and has never taken Amtrak before so I get to go into Manhattan this morning and put her on the train and then come back home. Good times! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€

Today’s card is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I felt a little Deja Vu! Typically Halloween colors but not for me! LOL! I stamped the ornament from the Concord & 9th Ornamental Photopolymer Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black and the merry and bright with Carrot using my Mini MISTI. The image is then colored in with Copics. For the ornament topper I cut out a piece of Gold Mirror Card with the Concord & 9th Ornamental Dies. The middles of the flowers have a little Singo Gold Gel Pen. The background looked a little plain so I added dots with pen, one of my favorite ways to fill in a background! Yes, it’s not your typical red and green but it’s still merry and bright! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! You can stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter your in the gallery! Thank you for your visit today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 121 – Tic-Tac-Toe

SIP Challenge 121 – Tic-Tac-Toe

A crisp good morning to you! We got a taste of Fall last night with temps in 40’s! I’ll take Summer back now thanks! I had a pretty productive morning yesterday which is always a good way to start the day! In the afternoon I got a text from Heather that one of her cats got out so me, Kim, Stephanie and George spent a few hours combing the neighborhood. They eventually found the cat and are going to get a GPS collar for her, she gets out a lot! I went back over to Heather’s later and we ran a few errands. My evening was finished off with a little TV. This morning I have a bunch of things to get to and some cleaning to do around the house. ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s Tuesday and that means it time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I went diagonal from top left to bottom right on the Tic-Tac-Toe board. My card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card stock has the front covered in a piece of paper from the My Mind’s Eye Essentials – Wood 6×6 Paper Pad. I heat embossed a flower and two leaves from the Essentials by Ellen Bold Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White and Copper Embossing Powder onto some 65lb Vellum. The Coordinating Dies are used to cut them out. My greeting is from the same set and is heat embossed in White Embossing Powder onto the woodgrain paper. The leaves are adhered with E-Z Runner and the flower with Kool-Tak Clear Foam Tape. A sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Copper Sequins completes the card. I love the nice pop of white against the dark woodgrain! The card would work well for a wedding, don’t you think?! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge! There are some more great cards over on the BLOG so be sure to stop by and take a look! We hope that you will share your take in the gallery with us! Thanks for coming by today! Have an amazing Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Freshly Made Sketches 308

Freshly Made Sketches 308

A rainy dreary morning here on Long Island but I had a very nice day yesterday! It was fun to see Ella and Tom. Lunch with my friend Kim was great and the weather was perfect! Taylor retrieved me from the station and dropped me off at home. Mum didn’t know what to make for dinner so I ran to the store with her and then the evening was finished with an early Thirsty Thursday and a late night trip to Target! I got up with the intentions of making my card this morning but I have been reading the new Dan Brown book Origins and can’t put it down! It’s fantastic! I have some cleaning and laundry to do this morning and then who knows?! ๐Ÿ˜€

I did finally get a card made and it’s for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…

My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb with the front covered in a piece of Black 110lb. I used the Lawn Fawn Say Cheese Lawn Cut to cut out a piece of DCWV Mariposa 12×12 Paper. After adhering a strip of Smoky Slate across the lower half of the card I added the frame. My butterfly is cut from some Gold Glitter Card using the Concord & 9th Floral & Flutter Dies. To adhered that to the card I used a little piece of 3M Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Wonderful Words Dies and is cut from a piece of Silver Glitter Card and adhered to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. I do so enjoy making a card using only dies ever so often, changes it up a bit! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge! Thanks for stopping by! Have an awesome Thursday! ๐Ÿ™‚

SIP Challenge 120 – Colors!

SIP Challenge 120 – Colors!

A rainy day here yesterday. I had to take Mum to the dentist in the morning and then Jim came by for a while. We ran to Target and got all caught up. After dinner Taylor stopped by, oh how I love my child! She spent most of the time here watching YouTube videos on her phone! I have some places to take my Parents today and some cleaning to do, a fun Tuesday! LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€

It is time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge and that’s always fun…

A timely trio of colors! I love to make a card with a stamped background and the best sets to do that with are the ones with little images. I used the Hero Arts Halloween Trimmings Stamp & Cut Photopolymer Stamp Set with Black, Orange Soda and Lime Green Ink to stamp my images directly onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The greeting is also from that set and is cut from a piece of Black 110lb and Silver Glitter Card. I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhere them to the card, slightly offset, and it’s finished! A fun and simple Halloween card, maybe for my little buddy Daniel! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Challenge! The BLOG has some more inspiration from the rest of the Team so be sure to check it out! We hope that you will play along and share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting with me today! Have a terrific Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Grateful Amethyst Leaf – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Grateful Amethyst Leaf – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Happy Thursday peeps! I had a nice day yesterday with Sue. We got a lot accomplished and went out and had a nice lunch. There is always more to do so I’ll be heading back over again some time next week, I do love a productive day! Taylor stopped by in the evening and we had dinner with my Parents and after that some TV, binge watching Arrow at the moment and really liking it! Today I’ll catch up on This is Us and maybe I’ll get to some of the cabinet doors! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time for my Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! We featured and Ink Only Challenge for last month so I did a little ink blending on today’s card! One of my all time favorite images is the leaf from the Concord & 9th Lace Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed it in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Card Stock. I used the Coordinating Die to cut out the negative from a piece of Masking Paper and used my Mini Ink Blending Tools and some Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Dusty Concord Distress Ink to color it in. After I removed the Mask I added the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Some Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine is spattered over the card and while that dried I cut out the grateful from a piece of Gold Glitter Card and adhered it to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. I love the purple and blue hues in the gold leaf and never underestimate the effect of a little ink spatter!

I hope that you like the card for my October Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! You can also see this post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Donโ€™t forget that you can follow us onย Instagramย andย Facebook! Paper Craft Crew 262

Paper Craft Crew 262

Hey there! I had a very quiet day yesterday. Not my favorite kind of day but I guess they are necessary every once in a while. Other than some TV and a little work on the computer not much else happened. This morning I’m off to see Sue again for some Etsy work, that is always productive and fun! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s mid-week and time for another Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I choose the row across the middle for my card and decided to use some of the leftovers on my desk to make it! I always stamp some extra when I make something in the hopes that I will use it and today I got to! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock cut to 3 3/4″ wide. My background is a piece of Desert Storm 80lb that I heat embossed the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Background onto with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder. The pumpkin is from the Hero Arts September My Monthly Hero Kit and is stamped in Orange Soda, Tangerine, Pumpkin Pie, Cup O Joe, Green Fields and Forever Green. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut it out and adhered it to a tag that is cut out with the Hero Arts Nested Tags Infinity Dies from another piece of Desert Storm 80lb. There is a little strip of Washi Tape across the bottom of the tag a piece of Natural Twine is tied through the top. My greeting is stamped in Pumpkin Pie with a few My Mind’s Eye Wicked Enamel Dots added. I adhered the tag to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner and added a little Multi-Matte Medium to hold the twine in place. Love the bright pop of the orange pumpkin against the kraft! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Paper Craft Crew 261

Paper Craft Crew 261

Hello! My apologies for my lateness this morning, I had some computer issues last night and it was a little too late to deal with them! When computers work they are amazing but buy when they don’t, not fun! I had a pretty productive day yesterday, ran some errands, did a little cleaning and some laundry. My friend Scott stopped by to take a look at installing my Ecobee Thermostat that I have had for over a year. Now that finally will get done! Last night after dinner I went over to Heather’s and hung out with her and Stephanie. This morning I have a little project that I’m working on for Jim so I’ll see if I can get that finished and then maybe some more work on the cabinets! ๐Ÿ˜€

I did get my card made for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge last night, this week we have some colors to work with…

I’m still appreciating the simpler cards lately and this one is definitely simple! I used my Mini MISTI to stamp the tree and a few of the layers of leaves from the Hero Arts Color Layering Fall Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cup O Joe, Just Rust, Lemon Yellow and Emerald Green onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The greeting is stamped in Just Rust under the tree. For a little more interest I added Pretty Pink Posh Copper, Lemon Yellow and Peacock Feather Sequins and a few Matte Copper ones too. I really do love the simplicity of this card, the colors reminded me of the trees in PA, turning but with a lot of green left! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! You can stop by the BLOG for more inspiration and then share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you so much for coming by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚
