SIP Challenge 179 – Holidays!

Hey there… remember me?! LOL! I have been away for a bit but I have a few things to post this week so hopefully you’ll join me! Got a little inspiration last night, finally! I have been keeping busy helping my friend Kelly redo her bathroom and spending time with the kiddos! Over the weekend I went into Manhattan with Jim, Kim, Brian, Izzy, Kevin, Krissy and Brooke to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. It was great and we had so much fun! This weekend I have a Holiday party to go to, that should be a good time! My tree is up but I haven’t done any shopping! Gotta get on that! How are your Holiday plans going?! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday so time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I used a new stamp set and an older one from Concord & 9th to make a fun simple card! I started by stamping the face and greeting from the Concord & 9th Winter Wear Photopolymer Stamp Set onto a piece of Solar White 80lb in Amalgam Ink using my Mini MISTI so I could stamp it twice. On a separate piece I stamped the scarf. The images are colored in with Copics, mine are in desperate need of refills and new nibs as you can see from the shading! The scarf is cut out with the coordinating Concord & 9th Winter Wear Dies. My snowflakes are from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Merman Ink. I adhered the stamped panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and added the scarf with Thin 3D Foam Squares. For a little sparkle I added Hero Arts Clear Gems to some of the snowflake centers and used Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Brush Pen over the scarf! A fun card that would be easy to mass produce! Stamp some and take markers or pencils with you and color on the go! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Holidays Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you so much for spending some time with me today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 175 – Gratitude!

SIP Challenge 175 – Gratitude!

Hello my friends! It was a dreary Monday and that has continued into a dreary Tuesday. A good day to stay in and get some stuff done around the house. The kiddos are off from school and wanted to spend the day at my parents so I’ll have them tomorrow. I did go over and have breakfast with them this morning. Now to get some stuff done here! πŸ˜€

Tuesday and that means that it’s time for another Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I felt like doing some heat embossing so I did just that… and a lot! My background is created using the Concord & 9th Deck the Halls Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp. I put it into my MISTI and used Versa-Mark to stamp it each time onto a piece of Grey 110lb Card Stock. It’s coated with Hero ArtsΒ Gold, Platinum, Copper and Brass Embossing Powder and heat set then trimmed to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. My card is a piece of lighter Grey 110lb Card Stock and I adhered the background to the front. For my greeting I used the Concord & 9th Grateful Leaves Dies to cut out the grateful from three pieces of Grey 110lb. They are adhered to each other with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Before adding it to the card I used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to add some sparkle. A pretty simple card with a big impact thanks to all of that metallic embossing powder! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Gratitude Challenge! Check out the rest of Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share your take with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 174 – Trick or Treat!

SIP Challenge 174 – Trick or Treat!

Hello friends! How was your Monday?! Mine was pretty good. The kiddos behaved themselves, you can’t ask for more than that! When I got home I finally used my InstaPot that I got to make some rice pudding. It was quick and easy and turned out great! I’ll have to find some more things to make in it. There are hundreds of recipes on Pinterest so that should be too hard! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I’m not much of a Halloween fan so I went with Fall for my card. To create my background I used a piece of Bristol Smooth Card Stock with my Mini Ink Blending Tools to add Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Barn Door Distress Oxide Ink. It’s splattered with a little water. I stamped the Thankful from the Concord & 9th Thankful Leaves Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versa-Fine Onyx Black and then adhered the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My leaf is cut from a piece of Copper Glitter Paper from the Concord & 9th Summer Glitter Paper Pack using the Concord & 9th Thankful Leaf Die. I adhered it to the card with Glue Tube. For a little added sparkle I dug through my stash and found some Neat & Tangled Festive Fall Sequins. Love the Distress Oxides on the Bristol Smooth! A fun simple fall card! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Trick or Treat Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see what the rest of the Design Team has come up with and share your card with in the gallery! Thanks for spending a little time with me today! SIP Challenge 173 – Plaid!

SIP Challenge 173 – Plaid!

Hello my friends! How was Monday? Mine was not great. I had a small boulder hit my windshield and put a giant circle like crack right in the middle. That’s going to be a pretty penny to replace. I tried to call the company who’s truck it came off of and they didn’t even answer the phone. It’s always something. Tristan was a beast for the first few minutes when I got there but she settled down eventually. Daniel was an angel as always. I got a caught up on a few things while Tristan napped and then did a little laundry when I got home. Taylor stopped by and we ran to Target. Back with the kiddos this morning! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I went super simple, just stamping! To create my background I used the Concord & 9th Happy Plaids Photopolymer Stamp Set and some Ballet Slippers and Minty Fresh Ink. I stamped the pattern with a block and added it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The snowflake is stamped in Ballet Slippers and the greeting in Minty Fresh, they are from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Photopolymer Stamp Set, using my Mini MISTI so I could stamp the greeting a few times to make it a little darker. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out and then added it to the card with 3M Foam Tape. That’s it! Simple and very non traditional colors, my fave! LOL! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Plaid Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG and we hope that you will play along with us! Thanks for visiting with me today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 172 – Sketch!

SIP Challenge 172 – Sketch!

Monday done! How did you all fare?! I did pretty good. Daniel was good as always and Tristan wasn’t the little she devil that she has become! LOL! It was rainy here most of the day yesterday but should be nice today. I snuck into Manhattan on Saturday to go and see my friend Kim and then went to October Fest at the Firehouse with Kim and Brian. Saturday was the first day that I wore pants since April!! I’m not liking that fact! It’s getting chilly and that means that my least favorite season is coming! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

My card is super simple! I used the Concord & 9th Snowflake Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp and some Soft Pool Ink with my MISTI to create my background. I stamped each turn twice to make the ink a little more intense. My greeting is from the same set and is heat embossed in WOW! Rich Pale Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Vellum. To cut it out I used the Concord & 9th Lovely Blossoms Dies. I adhered my background to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and then added the sentiment with teeny tiny pieces of 3M Foam Tape. All that was left was to add a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins. Like I said, simple but the heat embossing gives it a little oomph! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! SIP Challenge 171 – Fall Florals!

SIP Challenge 171 – Fall Florals!

Hey there everyone! I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend! Mine was great up in PA! We all had a blast with deck parties and dinners. We really made sure that the technical last weekend for the season was a great one! We also left early yesterday and really didn’t hit much traffic on the way home which is always the best way to finish a long weekend. I’m off to see the kiddos today, what are you up to?! πŸ˜€

I will have two posts for you today and my first one is for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I haven’t used my COPICS in a long time and I just felt like coloring so I stamped the large floral spray from the Concord & 9th Grateful for Everything Photopolymer Stamp Set in Amalgam Ink and set about doing some really simple COPIC coloring. Once I was finished I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. My card base is 8″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and folded in half. The sentiment is from the Concord & 9th Just Because Photopolymer Stamp Set and is also stamped in Amalgam Ink onto a piece of Desert Storm 80lb and attached it to my card base with E-Z Runner Ultra Strong. My floral spray is added with the same. To give it a little extra I used my Stylus and some Forever Green Ink to add dots around the image. I love the simplicity and the bright pop of the flowers! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG to see the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for stopping buy this morning! I’ll be back before lunch with my Design Team post for the new Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th challenge! I hope that you’ll come back for that! Until then, enjoy your morning! πŸ™‚

Hello everyone! I hope that you enjoyed your weekend and that your week is off to a good start! I can’t believe that it’s October already! It’s been cooler here but not cool enough to put away the shorts just yet! I’ll be off to PA at some point this week for Columbus Day weekend. Last weekend up there for the season until next Spring. Boy did this Summer fly by! πŸ˜€

Another Tuesday another challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I pulled out one of the little sets from Concord & 9th’s September release to make my card. I started by stamping the joyful from the Merry & Bright Photopolymer Stamp Set in Juice Box and then fussy cut it. Onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped it again in Minty Fresh to help with my placement of the pine branches. They are stamped in Minty Fresh and Noble Fir. I then adhered the fussy cut joyful with 3M Foam Tape and used my Stylus and the Juice Box Ink to add the little dots. Summer simple card with lots of white space! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG for more inspiration and share your creation with us in the gallery! SIP Challenge 169 – Background Stamps!

SIP Challenge 169 – Background Stamps!

Another Monday done! I had a nice time with the kiddos and Tristan was a delight! That’s not always the case lately! Terrible two’s are no joke! LOL! I took part in the crafty garage sale on Saturday and managed to send a lot of crafty goodness to new homes! I also got to see some peeps from the store and that was really nice! I’m still cleaning and organizing the Stampin’ Galley but it’s coming along nicely! πŸ˜€

It’s time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I got to play with some of the goodies from this month’s Concord & 9th release! I started my card by stamping pieces from the Concord & 9th Cozy Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set in Simon Says Stamp Lake Shores and Rosie Cheeks Ink using my MISTI onto some Solar White 80lb. That is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is cut from a piece of Glitter Paper from the Concord & 9th Neutrals Glitter Pack and two pieces of Solar White 110lb Card Stock using the Concord & 9th Merry & Bright Die. I used Multi-Purpose Spray to adhere them together and then added it to the card. A sprinkling of Shimmer Pool Gems from Little Things by Lucy finish off the card. SIP Challenge 168 – Tic-Tac-Toe

Hi there! Did you all have a nice weekend?! I did! Saturday night I had dinner with Jim and Sunday I went into Manhattan to see my friends Jon and Mary and then met up with Kim. We had a quick lunch and then she took me to see the final performance of the play Carousel on Broadway for my Birthday! It was a beautiful day too so we wandered around a bit. I ended up walking seven miles! A good weekend indeed! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I went diagonally from the bottom left to the top right! I started my card by stamping the background using the Concord & 9th Happy Plaids Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman and Freshly Cut Grass using my MISTI onto Solar White 80lb. Next I die cut the tag and pocket from Kraft and Vellum. Onto both I heat embossed my greeting from the Concord & with Holiday Cheer Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. A piece of Fun Foam is adhered to the back of the Vellum pocket. I added Gold Thread and some pine that I die cut from Noble Fir using a die from the Concord & 9th Happy Holidays Label Dies. For my card base I added a piece of Kraft to Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The background is adhered and then the tag. A simple and fun card using my favorite colors for the Holidays! SIP Challenge 167 – Large Sentiment!

Hi there and a happy Tuesday to you all! I hope that you all had a nice weekend, I did! Although, it has been raining here since Saturday night and looks it will be raining through the rest of the week. Thankfully I have been getting a little more of my MOJO back so spending time in the Stampin’ Galley will be fun! I also got some Polychromos Pencils and Alcohol Ink and I need to try them! LOL! πŸ˜€

Since it’s Tuesday it’s time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

I have a few of the Concord & 9th Turnabout Stamps that I haven’t had the chance to play with so I pulled one out to have a little play! My background is stamped on a piece of Solar White 80lb withΒ Hippo, Freshly Cut Grass, Merman and Fresh Lavender Ink using the Concord & 9th Lovely Blossoms Photopolymer Stamp and my MISTI. It’s adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For my greeting I used the FRIEND from the Concord & 9th Posie Fill-In Die and cut it out from Black 110lb. It’s adhered to a piece of Vellum with Glue Tube. To add it to the card I cut some Black 3D Foam Squares and hid them behind the letters. Just a few Basic Jewels Rhinestones scattered across from top left to lower right complete the card! I really do love those Turnabout Stamps, you can make awesome backgrounds in any color that you want!

I hope that you enjoyed my card! Be sure to stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s projects and share yours with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting and have a terrific Tuesday! πŸ™‚
