Good Monday morning to everyone! Did you all have a nice weekend and a Happy Mother’s Day? I spent the day on Saturday with my daughter Taylor. She made a Mother’s day card for my mom and we went to lunch ran some errands. Sunday we had lunch with my parents and then I went to see my friend Chantal so all in all a good weekend! This was one of those cards that as soon as I saw this I knew what I was going to do. It happens rarely but I love when it does. I started with a base of Baja Breeze. The top and bottom strips are from the new Patio Party Designer Series Paper (2012-2013 IB&C) and the middle strip is Daffodil Delight that I ran through the Big Shot using the hearts from the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. The greeting and cupcakes are from the new Carry On Stamp Set (2012-2013 IB&C) that is available as one of the Host(ess) choices. I stamped them all in Poppy Parade (retired List) on Whisper White Card Stock. The greeting is backed with Poppy Parade Card Stock (Retired List) and adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The cupcakes are punched out with the 1″ Circle Punch and adhered with SNAIL. For the finishing touch I stamped the “AND” and used the Bitty Banners Framelits Dies (2012-2013 IB&C) to cut it out and used a Stampin’ Dimensional behind it for some pop.
