It’s the last Monday in November… can you believe that?! Where has this year gone?! It feels like I was just walking around Manhattan with Michael a few weeks ago! And walking around London with Brian a few days ago! Time really does fly when you are having fun so I guess that I have been having a good time! Yesterday I managed to get most of my crafty stuff done, still more to do but I get in my own way sometimes and YouTube is a really big distraction, for me anyway! LOL! This morning I’m going to go and watch Scrap-A-Latte for Renee and then I have my Ton class at The Ink Pad this evening. I’m looking forward to that! It will be a late night but it’s all good!
The start of another week and a new Mojo Monday sketch! Here is this week’s…
I had some more fun with the Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock covered with a piece of Real Red. I took a piece of Solar White 80lb and used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles and Squares to cut out my windows. A piece of Acetate is adhered to the back with SNAIL and then two layers of Foam Tape. The background is a piece of paper from The PinkFresh Studios Christmas Wishes 6×6 Paper Pad. Some Recollections Red and Teal Sequins along with a few Red Seed Beads are sprinkled on the background and the window is adhered over to seal them in. Two more pieces of Real Red are flagged and I used my Tuxedo Black Marker to go around the edges before adhering them to the card. The house and greeting are from the PinkFresh Studios Christmas Wishes Puffy Stickers Pack and are adhered with Foam Tape. A scattering of Jillybean Soup Red and Teal Self Adhesive Sequins are adhered to the card from top right to bottom left. I do love the teal and red together and the puffy stickers are fun! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the blog and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter your card in the gallery! Thanks very much for coming by today! I wish you all a marvelous Monday! 🙂

Hi Justin!
Great card! Love the sequins and the puffy stickers. You convinced me to order the SSS card kit. I received it this weekend. Love it! I’m going to make some gift card holders with it.
Enjoy your day!
Hello Gerri!
Thank you! Yay! Love the Simon Says Stamp Monthly Kits! They always have some fun stuff! Have fun with yours and have a wonderful day! 🙂
Good Afternoon Justin:
I’m with you – where did 2015 go? As always, I love it when you make shaker cards and the colors and design of this one are really super. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as self sticking sequins! I wonder if they would work on dance costumes? Sounds like you are really keeping busy and tonight’s class should be a “ton” of fun – yes, pun intended. Have yourself a Momentous Monday and I can’t wait to see what you are making in this class. Love and Hugs XO 🙂
Hi Grace!
Yes, the year flew by… again! Thank you! Shaker cards a by far my favorite kind of card to make! The self adhesive sequins have a glue dot on the back of them, I don’t think that they would stick to fabric well. Yes, class was a “ton” of fun!! I do love the classes, the people are great! I’ll post the class cards tomorrow! hope you had a nice Monday! XOXO 🙂
Ths is so darn cute! YEA!!!! my kit finally came, too bad I’m working every day then in Michigan this weekend, LOL I know I’ll play eventually.
Yep when you look back time flies, but when you are in the moment, depending on the moment it can drag.
I got my 5 vinyl plates made yesterday. All handmade gifts done, now the dreadful shopping. I hope to complete most of it on line, fingers crossed
Thank you Linda!! Love the kit this month! Busy week for you!! Play time will be even better when you finally get some time!
I agree! But things always move fast for me! You are definitely ahead of the game!! I haven’t even thought about shopping or making gifts! Hmm… better get on that! 🙂
Justin, I just love your take on this fun sketch! I’ve pinned this to our Simon Says Stamp Happy Holidays board!
Thank you so much Lin! 🙂
Great shaker card, Justin! *Love* the design and the color combo. Too fun! Too cute!
Thanks so much El! 🙂
