Now that was a busy Friday! We got to the dealer nice and early and dropped off Heather’s car. On the way back we stopped and got bagels. I left around 9:30 to head over to Scrap-A-Latte to go and see Renee. We had a very nice chat and even got to speak to Michael too! From there I want back over to Heather’s and took her to pick up the car. I ran to the Post Office on my way hame and dropped off a package. When I got home I stopped to see Daniel and then I ran home and made two quick cards. Next I packed my stuff up to stay at Kim’s and Dad took me to the train station. I made pretty good time and was at Kim’s at 6:45. We had dinner and then some Fro-Yo from 16 Handles. This morning I’ll be at The Ink Pad at 7;15am to get everyone rounded up for the bus ride to Allentown! Should be a fun day! š
One of my quick cards is for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…
The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used a piece of paper from the My Mind’s Eye My Story 6×6 Paper Pad for the strip down the middle. Next I took another wooden embellishment, the Mr. & Mrs.this time, and heat embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. It’s adhered to a piece of Vellum Card Stock that I cut out with the Simon Says Stamp Postage Stamp Edge Frames Dies with Multi-Matte Medium. I hid some Foam Tape behind the sentiment to adhere it to the card. For a little added sparkle I punched out a piece of Champagne Glimmer Paper with a small Heart Punch and adhered that to the vellum. Are you sick of the wooden embellishments yet?! I love them so there will be more! LOL! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge! Thank you and I hope that I get to see some of you at the show today! Have a stampendous Saturday! š

HI Justin:
I love the way you always manage to incorporate vellum into your cards. I have vellum here that I’ve probably had for 10 years but again, out of sight, etc., etc. I really, really, really need a room large enough for me to be able to see my supplies.
I hope your trip to Allentown for the show is amazing! I too can’t wait to hear all about it and all the new goodies you purchased while you were there. Enjoy it enough for all of us who are a teensy weensy bit jealous! LOL Have a Super Saturday my friend. Luv and hugs, XXOO š
