A chilly good day to you! It’s definitely feeing like Winter here today. Chilly but sunny. I managed to get most of my list accomplished yesterday. Jim came by and we had a nice dinner and then watched TV. This morning I’m at his house waiting for the dishwasher repair guy to come. It’s Thursday so I’ll get to see the girls later! ๐
Today I have my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge to share with you. Before we get to it I want thank Jen M for choosing me for her Prince for last week’s challenge! You can see the winner’s post HERE and my original post HERE! Now for this week’s sketch…
I started my card by stamping the Hero Arts Confetti Bold Prints Background Stamp onto a piece of Solar White 110lb with Tide Pool Ink. My greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder using the Hero Arts Happy Happy Christmas Wood Mount Stamp. I wanted some gold around the edge of the card base so I took my Versa-Mark Pad and pressed it along the bottom and left edge. Some more Gold Embossing Powder is added and heat set. My background is then adhered with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. A few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins are added for extra sparkle and the card is done! Love the simplicity and the gold with the teal! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge! Thanks for visiting! Have an awesome Thursday! ๐
