Paper Players 366

A good Monday to you my friends! I had a very nice weekend! I was over Jim’s on Saturday working on some more projects that I’m happy to say we got them finished! Saturday night we went over and had dinner with Kim. So nice to get to see her, it’s been way too long. Yesterday I had a lazy day, it was rainy so I watched some more of the Arrow on Netflix. This morning I’m going to get stuff done! Have to make up for yesterday! How was your weekend?! 😀

I’m starting the week off with my card for the Paper Players challenge…

I used the Hero Arts Halloween Trimmings Stamp & Cut Photopolymer Stamp Set and heat embossed the greeting in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder and the bats in Hero Arts Black Sparkle Embossing Powder onto a piece of Pluto Stardream Curious Metallic Card Stock. That is then adhered to a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. They wanted clean and simple, I think that fits the bill! Love the nice sparkly bats on the shiny dark card stock! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Players Challenge! Thank you for starting your week off with me! Have a magnificent Monday! 🙂

Fab Friday 123

Happy Friday! I had a quiet day yesterday, got some thing done and ran a few errands. This morning I’m off to Manhattan to see my friend Isabella. We always have a nice visit! I’m going to make dinner tonight for Jim and I, I haven’t cooked in a long time so wish me luck! LOL! 😀

My card that I have to share with you today is for the Fab Friday challenge…

I used some new goodies from Concord & 9th! My background is the Concord & 9th Christmas Cheer Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp. I stamped the images in Black Licorice using my MISTI and then used the fill in’s and Moonstone, Lobster, Doe, Sunflower, Noble Fir, Carrot, Sugarplum and Jalapeño Ink. It’s trimmed and adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto piece of Black 110lb that I cut out with the Concord & 9th Ribbon Banner Die. It’s adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. A strip of Black 110lb and Chili Pepper are adhered to the lower right to stay true to the sketch and the card is done! I love the Turnabout Stamps and it was so much fun using the fill in images to just stamp! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for coming by today! Have a Fabulous Friday! 🙂

Paper Craft Crew 263

Another fun filled day! I took my Dad to the Doctor and we were there for three hours!! That’s just crazy! Most of the time was spent just sitting there. Nah, neither one of us had anything else to do, not to worry! LOL! Heather and I did a quick BJ’s run when she got home from work and then Taylor came by for some video watching. So good to spend quality time with the child! This morning I’m off to Manhattan to visit my friend Ella and maybe meet Kim for lunch. Now that’s a better day! 😀

It’s Wednesday and time for a new Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I have been so loving the super simple cards lately, not for any other reason than I love all of the white space. Onto my card Base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped the stars from the Hero Arts Merry Stamp & Cut Photopolymer Stamp Set in Lime Green, Soft Lilac and Soft Pink. The Merry is cut out with the die from the set from a piece of Black 110lb and adhered to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. All that was left to do was stamp the Christmas in Black! Super simple and fun to make, also highly mailable. Hmm… I may have just found this year’s Christmas Card! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 120 – Colors!

A rainy day here yesterday. I had to take Mum to the dentist in the morning and then Jim came by for a while. We ran to Target and got all caught up. After dinner Taylor stopped by, oh how I love my child! She spent most of the time here watching YouTube videos on her phone! I have some places to take my Parents today and some cleaning to do, a fun Tuesday! LOL! 😀

It is time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge and that’s always fun…

A timely trio of colors! I love to make a card with a stamped background and the best sets to do that with are the ones with little images. I used the Hero Arts Halloween Trimmings Stamp & Cut Photopolymer Stamp Set with Black, Orange Soda and Lime Green Ink to stamp my images directly onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The greeting is also from that set and is cut from a piece of Black 110lb and Silver Glitter Card. I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhere them to the card, slightly offset, and it’s finished! A fun and simple Halloween card, maybe for my little buddy Daniel! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Challenge! The BLOG has some more inspiration from the rest of the Team so be sure to check it out! We hope that you will play along and share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting with me today! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

Happy Columbus Day! I hope that you are lucky enough to have the day off from work today! I’m happy to report that my Dad is home from the hospital, he came home yesterday. He is feeling much better thanks in part to all of your well wishes. I really can’t thank you all enough for keeping him in your thoughts. you guys are the best peeps ever! I even got to do some fun stuff yesterday! In the morning I took a ride into Manhattan with Heather to drop her brother off at Comic-Con. After that I went with her to look at some used cars, she is trying to find one for her brother. Boy is there a lot of garbage out there! LOL! After that I spent some time with my Dad and then watched a little TV and made my card for today. Felt so good to sit down in the Stampin’ Galley! Today I have some cleaning and other chores to do. What are you up to?

It’s time for a new challenge over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th blog…

Shades of Concord & 9th means use any shade of blue or green! For my card is used the Aloha Friend Photopolymer Stamp Set and my MISITI to stamp the dashed strip onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Peacock and Jalapeño to create a background. The fabulous is from the same set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of 65lb Vellum. I used Multi-Matte Medium to adhere it to the card and added a scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins to complete the card! Simple and fun, and who doesn’t like to be told that they are fabulous?! Grateful Amethyst Leaf – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Happy Thursday peeps! I had a nice day yesterday with Sue. We got a lot accomplished and went out and had a nice lunch. There is always more to do so I’ll be heading back over again some time next week, I do love a productive day! Taylor stopped by in the evening and we had dinner with my Parents and after that some TV, binge watching Arrow at the moment and really liking it! Today I’ll catch up on This is Us and maybe I’ll get to some of the cabinet doors! 😀

It’s time for my Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! We featured and Ink Only Challenge for last month so I did a little ink blending on today’s card! One of my all time favorite images is the leaf from the Concord & 9th Lace Leaf Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed it in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Bristol Smooth Card Stock. I used the Coordinating Die to cut out the negative from a piece of Masking Paper and used my Mini Ink Blending Tools and some Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Dusty Concord Distress Ink to color it in. After I removed the Mask I added the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Some Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine is spattered over the card and while that dried I cut out the grateful from a piece of Gold Glitter Card and adhered it to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. I love the purple and blue hues in the gold leaf and never underestimate the effect of a little ink spatter!

I hope that you like the card for my October Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! You can also see this post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on October 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! 🙂

Paper Craft Crew 262

Hey there! I had a very quiet day yesterday. Not my favorite kind of day but I guess they are necessary every once in a while. Other than some TV and a little work on the computer not much else happened. This morning I’m off to see Sue again for some Etsy work, that is always productive and fun! 😀

It’s mid-week and time for another Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I choose the row across the middle for my card and decided to use some of the leftovers on my desk to make it! I always stamp some extra when I make something in the hopes that I will use it and today I got to! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock cut to 3 3/4″ wide. My background is a piece of Desert Storm 80lb that I heat embossed the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Background onto with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder. The pumpkin is from the Hero Arts September My Monthly Hero Kit and is stamped in Orange Soda, Tangerine, Pumpkin Pie, Cup O Joe, Green Fields and Forever Green. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut it out and adhered it to a tag that is cut out with the Hero Arts Nested Tags Infinity Dies from another piece of Desert Storm 80lb. There is a little strip of Washi Tape across the bottom of the tag a piece of Natural Twine is tied through the top. My greeting is stamped in Pumpkin Pie with a few My Mind’s Eye Wicked Enamel Dots added. I adhered the tag to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner and added a little Multi-Matte Medium to hold the twine in place. Love the bright pop of the orange pumpkin against the kraft! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Paper Players 364

My apologies for my absence over the weekend! I was over Jim’s on Friday night until late and then over there again all day on Saturday. We got a ton accomplished including decorating the house for Halloween! He has a lot of stuff but we did pare it down a bit. Yesterday I had the pleasure of going into Manhattan to see my friends Jim and Diane in the morning and then from there I went over and saw Kim. We set up her new iPhone and robot vacuum. She asked me if was interested in a robot vacuum and I said oh no, I love to vacuum! LOL! Taylor had to borrow my car again yesterday so she picked me up from the train, we hung out for a bit and then I finished the evening by making today’s card and watching a little TV! I have a bunch of stuff to follow up on this morning and a few projects to get through, maybe some cabinet stripping if there is time! 😀

I love this week’s Paper Players challenge, I knew just what I wanted to make as soon as I saw it…

To start I pulled out the Hero Arts September My Monthly Hero Kit and stamped the sunflower in Butter Bar, Pumpkin Pie, Just Rust and Cup O Joe. My leaves are from the Hero Arts Color Layering Grateful Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped with the Hero Arts Ombre Autumn Pad. The leaves and sunflower are then all cut out with the Coordinating Dies. For my card base I adhered a piece of Desert Storm 80lb to a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My wreath is cut from Gold Mirror Card using the Hero Arts Branch Wreath Fancy Die and adhered to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. I added the sunflower and leaves with E-Z Runner and 3M Foam Tape. All that was left to do was stamp the greeting in Cup O Joe and the card is done! I love the leaves paired with the sunflower, I think it makes for a lovely fall cluster! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Paper Players Theme Challenge from Sandy! Thank you for starting your week off with me! Have a marvelous Monday! 🙂

Another week is coming to an end. I had a busy morning yesterday, I ran over to Jim’s to pick something up and then stopped back home before I headed over to Sue’s. We had a nice productive day, got a lot done. Last night after dinner Taylor and I ran a few errands, always nice to see the child! Today I have some more purging to do! I do love a good purge! 😀

I can’t believe that it’s time for a new Fab Friday challenge…

I got to use another new to me stamp! On my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped the branches in Cup O Joe and the flowers in Red Raspberry, both from the Hero Arts Color Layering Birds & Blossoms Photopolymer Stamp Set. The greeting is stamped in Raspberry Jam in the upper left. The birds are stamped in Just Rust and Emerald Green for the first layer and then Cup O Joe for the second. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Raspberry Sequins finish the card! I love that stamp set, so simple and fun! Paper Players 363

Another Wednesday under our belts! I had a semi-productive day. Got a few things done in the morning and then did some laundry. It was another warm day, we had a little rain in the evening for a few minutes but all in all a good day! I stopped by my friend’s house and dropped off their newly formatted MacBook and helped them finish setting it up. The rest of the evening was spent relaxing and watching a little TV. I did watch the new episode of This is Us yesterday morning, man is that a good show! Today I’m off to spend some time with Sue! 😀

I got me a new Hero Set yesterday and decided to use it to make my card for this week’s Paper Players challenge…

I began by stamping the images from the Hero Arts Color Layering Poppy Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pale Tomato, Raspberry Jam, Red Royal and Black. The closed ones are stamped in Forever Green. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out and then stamped the stems in Forever Green onto piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My card base is the same and has a piece of paper from the DCWV Maps, Text & Ledgers Paper Pad adhered as the background. Some Fun Foam and E-Z Runner holds the panel with the flowers to the card. My greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Black, I flagged the ends and adhered it to the card with 3M Foam Tape. I love the poppies and the unexpected vintage paper for the background! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Paper Players Sketch Challenge! Thank you for visiting! Have an awesome Thursday! 🙂
