Paper Craft Crew 253

What a productive day I had yesterday!! I got so much done in the Craft Room, so much stuff gone though and piles of things ready to go! Feels good but there is so much more to go! Hopefully today will be a repeat! Andrew was over and helped, we went out and had lunch, so good to see him! Later on Taylor came by and so did Heather. She had a nice time in Florida but was glad to be home. Today I think I have my friend Sue, she’s good at getting me motivated! πŸ˜€

My card that I have to share with you is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I do so love a stamped background they are so much fun to make! I used the Hero Arts For You Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set andΒ Soft Pool, Tide Pool, Mint Julep and Lime Green Ink stamped on a piece of Solar White 80lb. It’s adhered to a base of Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is from the same set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Black 110lb. Some 3M Foam Tape adheres it to the card. For a little sparkle I added some Hazel and Ruby The Makery Green With Envy and Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins! I love the colors together but then again I’m sucker for blues and greens! I hope that you like my Design Team card fort this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and get some inspiration so you can share your card in the gallery with us! Thank you so much for visiting! Have a wild Wednesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 109 – A Sketch!

It was a rainy Monday morning here but it did stop right at 1:00PM just like they said it would! That never happens! LOL! I got all caught up on my comments and went through more of the Stampin’ Galley overabundance in the morning and then went over to see Daniel at my Parent’s house. He is still just the cutest little boy! After dinner we watched PJ Masks together and then I came home and spent a little time with Taylor. Jim stopped by a little later and we watched TV and planned out next DIY project. Can’t wait to get started on that! I’ll be sure an post pictures when we are done! I think that Andrew is going to come by for a while today, will be good to see him! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Today’s card starts off with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Flower Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp with Pool Party Card Stock and Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder to create a panel. It’s backed with a piece of Desert Storm 80lb and adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th Wonderful Words Dies and is cut from a piece of American Crafts Gold Glitter Card. To adhere it to the card I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. A few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins fill in some of the space on the embossed panel and the card is done! I think that this would make a nice elegant wedding card, especially with the Tiffany colors! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Sketch Challenge! Go on over to the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! πŸ™‚

Paper Players 354

Another weekend whizzed by as they always do. I spent a little more time organizing the Stampin’ Galley again yesterday. It has become very apparent that it’s going to take a long time to get it done, I have wayyyyyy too much stuff! It didn’t rain again so I sat outside for a while, it was cooler so it was very nice. Today, more crafty purging, can’t wait to get it finished! πŸ˜€

I made a fun little card yesterday for this week’s Paper Players challenge…

I love when I can get a lot of use out of a stamp set and the Concord & 9th Orange You Sweet Set is a great one, so many different options! To start the card I used a few of the images from the set to stamp a watermelon background on a piece of Solar White 80lb using Lobster, Noble Fir and Black Licorice Ink. Next I trimmed a piece of 65lb Vellum to the same size as the stamped panel and lined up one of the Orange You Sweet Dies over the watermelon on the right and used the die to cut it out from only the Vellum. Then I heat embossed my greeting in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder in the upper left of the Vellum. It’s placed back over the stamped piece so I could decided where I wanted my Pretty Pink Posh Raspberry and Marshmallow Sequins. They are adhered with Multi-Matte Medium, after they dried I added dots of Multi-Matte Medium behind the sequins and adhered it to the stamped panel. A piece of Noble Fir is adhered to the back of that and then the whole thing is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I do love the way the vellum softens the rest of the background and the cutout gives that one a nice pop! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Player sketch challenge! Thanks for starting your week off with me! Have a marvelous Monday! πŸ™‚

Sunshine Bulb

Yesterday I finally got into the Stampin’ Galley and started to go through the overabundance of things that I have! There is a lot of stuff! It needs to be organized and thinned out! It was pleasant outstanding again so I spent some time enjoying the weather. Taylor came by last night and hung out, I do so enjoy spending time with the child! We are supposed to have some rain today. Maybe I’ll get through some more stuff! πŸ˜€

I have a relatively simple card to share with you today! I used the Concord & 9th Sunshine Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp with my MISTI and some Sunflower Ink to create my background. It’s adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Black Licorice. The fun light bulb is from the Concord & 9th Shine Brighter Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the base on Ionized Curious Metallic and heat embossed it with Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder. The bulb is heat embossed in Hero Arts White on a piece of 65lb Vellum and they are both cut out with the Coordinating Dies. A piece of 3M Foam Tape behind the base adheres the bulb to the card. Three Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins complete the card. Yes, that light bulb is a favorite and I love it with the Sunshine Turnabout behind it! I hope that you enjoyed today’s card! Thank you for stopping by! Have a super Sunday! πŸ™‚

Quick & Bright Hello Flowers

Thankfully the rain has moved to Sunday now so we enjoyed another nice day yesterday! I did get a few things done in the morning and started my list of what I need to get done for the upcoming week. Dinner with the Parents as usual and then Taylor came by and we watched some TV before Heather stopped by and picked us up to run a few errands with her. She is off to Florida for a few days to see George’s Mom. I wish that I was heading somewhere for a few days! πŸ˜€

Today I have a super simple card using a really cool stamp! That stamp is the Concord & 9th Flower Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp. I used my MISTI and stamped it in Fresh Lavender, Peachy Keen, Sunflower and Carrot on a piece of Solar White 80lb. The leaves are stamped in JalapeΓ±o and the piece is trimmed to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, it’s adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the hello die from the Concord & 9th Orange You Sweet Dies to cut out a piece of Black 110lb and adhered it to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Love the Turnabout Stamps, they make quick work of fun backgrounds! How nice would it be to whip up a few of these cards and give them as a set to someone?! I hope that you like today’s card! Thanks for stopping by! Have a sensational Saturday! πŸ™‚

Fab Friday 117

And it’s Friday! Did the week move a little on the slow side or is it just me?! I did complete my trifecta of productive days! I also ran a few errands and mailed out some packages. Jim came by around 5:00 and we watched a little TV and then went to Friday’s for dinner. I have a lot of rewards points so it was a cheap dinner to boot! LOL! I also stopped by Heather’s and saw her and Stephanie for a bit before coming home and calling it a night. I think we are supposed to get some rain today, the end of the perfect weather. But it will be just one day! πŸ˜€

It’s a Fab Friday week and we have a sketch for you this time…

My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the Concord & 9th Barnwood Background Stamp stamped in Khaki on the front. I used the Simon Says Stamp Nesting Circles Dies to cut out a piece of Solar White 80lb and stamped the images from the Concord & 9th Orange You Sweet Photopolymer Stamp Set in Catkin and Khaki Ink. I stamped a singe one and cut that out with the Coordinating Orange You Sweet Dies. My greeting is from the same set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Black 110lb. I adhered the large circle to the card with E-Z Runner Ultra Strong and the single kiwi and greeting with 3D Foam Squares. A nice simple card with my favorite background and a fun greeting! Freshly Made Sketches 297

We are on a roll! Productive days are here to stay! LOL! I got all of my list accomplished yesterday and spent some time outside enjoying the weather! Taylor came by in the afternoon and we had dinner with my Parents. After, Heather stopped by and we ran some errands, she dropped me off and then I went over to her house for a bit. When I came home Taylor and I started to watch The Fall on Netflix. A very odd and disturbing show. This morning I have some odds and ends to take care of, another productive day is ahead! πŸ˜€

My card that I made yesterday is for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge

The card base for today is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock cut so that when it’s folded it measures 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″. The background is a piece of Soft Sky layered on top of a piece of Blushing Bride. My image is from the Concord & 9th Unicorn Awesomeness Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Black Licorice. I colored in the horn and hooves with my Signo Gold Gel Pen and cut it out with the Coordinating Dies. In the Dies there is the word magic and that is cut from some Gold Glitter Card Stock. I adhered the unicorn with 3M Foam Tape and the magic with Multi-Matte Medium. A heavy dose of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen is on the mane and tail along with a few spots on the body and to finish the card I added a bunch of gold dots with the Gold Pen. There are a lot of unicorns out there but I have to say this one is my favorite! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge! Thank you for visiting! Have a great Thursday! πŸ™‚

Paper Craft Crew 252

We have been very lucky with the weather lately! Another beautiful day! I did get a ton of stuff done yesterday! Spoke to my friend Greg in Indiana, worked on a few projects, made a card! I had dinner with my Parents and then Heather stopped by for a bit. Taylor came by later on and we listened to 80’s and 90’s music. I’m going to make today another get stuff done day! πŸ˜€

The card that I have to share with you today is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I used one of my new favorite sets from Concord & 9th! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Dies to cut out a piece of Desert Storm and stamped the woodgrain strip from the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Doe. The flowers and leaves are from the same set and are stamped in Sunflower and Noble Fir. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered to the card along with the Palette. I stamped the greeting, also from the same set, in Noble Fir, flagged the right end and adhered it to the card with more 3M Foam Tape. A few more flowers and a leaf are added to the left of the greeting. Some Pretty Pink Posh Lemon Sequins complete the card! I do love that palette and the bright yellow flowers! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG to get inspired and add your card to the gallery! I thank you so much for stopping by! SIP Challenge 108 – Fabulous Flowers!

Hello my friends! I’m so happy that you liked the pictures from this weekend’s projects! Jim says thank you too! Yesterday I did get a few things done in the morning, ran to the Post Office and had dinner with my Parents and Taylor. The child then came to my house and hung out with me for a while. I watched a little TV before bed to unwind a bit. I have a few phone calls to make this morning and then some projects to get finished! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Ahh, florals! I have way too many how about you?! LOL! I started my card with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. To create my panel I used another piece of 110lb Card Stock and the Concord & 9th Hope Labels Die. My flowers and greeting are from the Concord & 9th Hope Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers in Grape Soda and Juice Box, the leaves in JalapeΓ±o and the greeting in Juice Box. To make the HOPE a little sparkly I adhered a piece of Silver Glitter Card Stock to the card base before adhering the panel to the card with 3M Foam Tape. A fun simple card with some neat flowers and a fun greeting! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the team’s cards and let’s see your floral creation in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting! Have a terrific Tuesday! πŸ™‚

Fabulous Friend

A very happy Monday to you! I had another super productive day yesterday with Jim. We finished all of our projects and I have a few pictures to share with you! First is a little storage made with unfinished wood crates from Michaels. We stained them and used screws to hold the two larger ones together…

Next up is the new table set up. I love the “chandelier” over the table…

Such a nice little set up to welcome you to the house! We added the flower boxes too! It really was a lot of fun to get everything done and then see the finished product! Can’t wait to see what’s next! He made a delicious dinner as always and we sat on the porch and enjoyed it for a while before I headed home. Today I hope to get all caught up on some of my projects! πŸ˜€

I got home late again last night so I needed another quick card! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the greeting and images from the Concord & 9th Aloha Friend Photopolymer Stamp Set. The greeting is stamped in Hippo and the flowers in Freshly Cut Grass and Peachy Keen using my Mini MISTI so that I could double stamp everything. I added Pretty Pink Posh Lemon Drop Sequins and Pearls to the centers of the flowers and the card is done! I love the flowers in that set and the fun greetings! I hope that you like today’s card! I thank you so much for starting another week off with me! Have an absolutely amazing Monday! πŸ™‚
