Sunshine Bulb

Yesterday I finally got into the Stampin’ Galley and started to go through the overabundance of things that I have! There is a lot of stuff! It needs to be organized and thinned out! It was pleasant outstanding again so I spent some time enjoying the weather. Taylor came by last night and hung out, I do so enjoy spending time with the child! We are supposed to have some rain today. Maybe I’ll get through some more stuff! 😀

I have a relatively simple card to share with you today! I used the Concord & 9th Sunshine Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp with my MISTI and some Sunflower Ink to create my background. It’s adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is from the same set and is stamped in Black Licorice. The fun light bulb is from the Concord & 9th Shine Brighter Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the base on Ionized Curious Metallic and heat embossed it with Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder. The bulb is heat embossed in Hero Arts White on a piece of 65lb Vellum and they are both cut out with the Coordinating Dies. A piece of 3M Foam Tape behind the base adheres the bulb to the card. Three Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins complete the card. Yes, that light bulb is a favorite and I love it with the Sunshine Turnabout behind it! I hope that you enjoyed today’s card! Thank you for stopping by! Have a super Sunday! 🙂

Paper Craft Crew 252

We have been very lucky with the weather lately! Another beautiful day! I did get a ton of stuff done yesterday! Spoke to my friend Greg in Indiana, worked on a few projects, made a card! I had dinner with my Parents and then Heather stopped by for a bit. Taylor came by later on and we listened to 80’s and 90’s music. I’m going to make today another get stuff done day! 😀

The card that I have to share with you today is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I used one of my new favorite sets from Concord & 9th! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Dies to cut out a piece of Desert Storm and stamped the woodgrain strip from the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Doe. The flowers and leaves are from the same set and are stamped in Sunflower and Noble Fir. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered to the card along with the Palette. I stamped the greeting, also from the same set, in Noble Fir, flagged the right end and adhered it to the card with more 3M Foam Tape. A few more flowers and a leaf are added to the left of the greeting. Some Pretty Pink Posh Lemon Sequins complete the card! I do love that palette and the bright yellow flowers! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG to get inspired and add your card to the gallery! I thank you so much for stopping by! Fabulous Friend

A very happy Monday to you! I had another super productive day yesterday with Jim. We finished all of our projects and I have a few pictures to share with you! First is a little storage made with unfinished wood crates from Michaels. We stained them and used screws to hold the two larger ones together…

Next up is the new table set up. I love the “chandelier” over the table…

Such a nice little set up to welcome you to the house! We added the flower boxes too! It really was a lot of fun to get everything done and then see the finished product! Can’t wait to see what’s next! He made a delicious dinner as always and we sat on the porch and enjoyed it for a while before I headed home. Today I hope to get all caught up on some of my projects! 😀

I got home late again last night so I needed another quick card! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the greeting and images from the Concord & 9th Aloha Friend Photopolymer Stamp Set. The greeting is stamped in Hippo and the flowers in Freshly Cut Grass and Peachy Keen using my Mini MISTI so that I could double stamp everything. I added Pretty Pink Posh Lemon Drop Sequins and Pearls to the centers of the flowers and the card is done! I love the flowers in that set and the fun greetings! I hope that you like today’s card! I thank you so much for starting another week off with me! Have an absolutely amazing Monday! 🙂

Simple So Sweet

Well, the rainy day did turn out to be a productive one! I got most of what I had to do finished! I also got a haircut and ran some errands and had some lunch with Heather. Dinner with my Parents and then finished the evening off with some TV. Today I think I’m supposed to go over to Jim’s to help with some projects! I never fins out until the last minute! LOL! Should be a fun day! 😀

I have a simple fun card for you today! I used the Concord & 9th Orange You Sweet Photopolymer Stamp Set to stamp some images and a greeting onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. To line up the greeting I stamped the outline and then used my Mini MISTI to stamp the colored part. It needed something more so I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Onyx and American Crafts Orange Sequins! Like I said super simple card but I love the orange slices and fun greeting! I hope that you like today’s card! Thank you so much for coming by! Have a sensational Saturday! 🙂

Paper Craft Crew 251

Yup, I had a nice productive day with my friend Sue yesterday! We got a lot of things done! I had a really quick dinner with my Parent’s when I got home and then headed over to see Heather. She had to go for an eye exam so I took the ride and then we hung out at her house for a bit. A little trip to Target before calling it a night and that was my day! I’ll be spending some time in front of the computer today playing catchup today! Fun! 😀

So, it’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I have to be honest, it took me a while to find something new! When you make a card a day like I do you tend to use all of your goodies as soon as you get them! I found a Pinkfresh Studio Set that I hadn’t inked up so I used it to make a super simple card! To start I stamped my greeting From the Pinkfresh Studio So Sweet Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 100lb Card Stock. The squares are stamped next in Jet Black and the outlined ones are colored in with my Copic R27 Marker. The ink spots are also stamped in Jet Black and for a little interest I adhered a few Pretty Pink Posh Clear Droplets over some of them with Multi-Matte Medium. That’s it! Super simple with some pops of color! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Theme Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 107 – Tic-Tac-Toe!

So, I didn’t turn on the TV in the morning and managed to get a bunch of things done that I needed to finish! I also ran a few errands and then watched a little TV last night. It was nice and sunny so I got in some outside time too! Taylor stopped by for a few minutes just to say hi. Today I’m off to Sue’s to work on some Etsy stuff! Another productive day is ahead! 😀

It’s Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

The card starts off with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For my background I used the Stampin’ Up! Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and a piece of Smoky Slate. Next up is another piece of Solar White 110lb cut out with the Lawn Fawn Say Cheese Lawn Cut. I stamped the greeting from the W Plus 9 Fanciful Feathers Photopolymer Stamp Set in Navy along the bottom of the frame. It’s adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. My feathers are also from the Fanciful Feathers Set. I heat embossed them onto die cut Cobalt Vellum in Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder. A Wooden Button with some Grey Twine tied into a bow is adhered over the Feather and helps hold them to the frame. To give the card some more interest and a little sparkle I added some Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold and Pewter Sequins and a few Studio Calico Wood Veneer Stars! I love the feathers in the copper on the cobalt vellum and I’m glad that I remembered that I had that Stampin’ Up! Embossing Folder! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and let’s see your take on the challenge! Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th – Embossing!

Well, that was a nice Saturday! I got a few cards made in the morning and then in afternoon I headed over to my Brother’s for Tristan’s Birthday party. Lots of family and friends and of course my little Daniel. He rode all around the backyard in his Ford F-150 driving it like he’s had his license for years! LOL! Tristan was happy like she always is and wanted to be with me most of the time! She is starting to talk and will be walking very soon! I’ll share some pictures when my Brother posts them. I got to play photographer yesterday so I didn’t take any with my iPhone. This morning I think I’m going to try and tackle my top on my car. It leaked fluid out of the front and I can’t put it down anymore. My only source of happiness! LOL! 😀

Today I have the pleasure of sharing my card with you for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge

I do love some heat embossing and that’s all I did! To create my background I used the Concord & 9th Oh Hello Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp with my MISTI. For each turn I stamped in Versa-Mark and heat embossed with Hero Arts Gold, Brass, Platinum and Copper Embossing Powder. It’s then trimmed to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. My main greeting, also from the same stamp set is heat embossed in Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder onto a piece of 65lb Vellum. I folded the edges around the background and adhered it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Just three Pretty Pink Posh Silver, Gold and Rose Gold Sequins finish the card! I do love all of the metallics with the Oh Hello Turnabout, makes for a fun and interesting background! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Embossing Challenge! We hope that you will play along with us and enter your card in the gallery over on the BLOG! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! The weather was very nice here again yesterday! I managed to get some cards made in the morning, cleaned the house and spent a little time outside enjoying the weather! The greeting is cut from Silver Glitter Card Stock using the Simon Says Stamp Painted Enjoy and Summer Dies. A little Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive adheres them to the stamped images and three Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins finish the card! I love the subtlety of the colors with the pop of silver! Golden Hugs – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th

Hi all! I hope that you had a happy and safe Independence Day! I started my day yesterday by picking up my friend Chantal and heading over to Long Beach. Her Granddaughter takes surfing lessons so we went to watch. While we were there we saw a whole bunch of Dolphins in the water just off the beach. Who knew that we had Dolphins in the waters here?! You can see the kids in the water…

Before heading back Chantal and I had a nice brunch at a local restaurant. It was great to get to spend some time with her! I dropped her off and then stopped by my house before heading over to Stephanie’s for a BBQ. There were a bunch of my peeps there and we had a really nice time! Today I have some crafting to do and a lot of cleaning. 😀

It’s time for my Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! You can also see this post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog at 11:00AM today. Be sure and stop by there too! I did another card with a bunch of layers! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the front covered in a piece of Black 110lb. I used the Concord & 9th Select-A-Size Edge Dies to cut a piece of Lobster and Gold Mirror Card. On the Lobster I heat embossed the hugs from the Concord & 9th Cuddles & Hugs Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. The two layers are adhered to the card with E-Z Runner Ultra Strong. A few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins and the card is done! I love the edge dies and the nice simple hugs greeting! I hope that you like my card for my July Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Don’t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! Paper Players 351

It was a nice day here yesterday, in the high 80’s with lots of sun. I decided that it was important for me to be outside and enjoy it so I didn’t get as much done as I had wanted to but I still did manage to accomplish some things. I crafted for a bit and got a few things done on the computer. This morning I’m off to Manhattan again for the better part of the day. A nice way to start off my week! 😀

Monday and I have my card for this week’s Paper Players challenge to share with you…

I began by stamping the Concord & 9th Barnwood Background Photopolymer Stamp onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with some Lawn Fawn Merman Ink. My two hearts are die cut from Merman and Bluejay Card Stock using the Concord & 9th Heartstrings Dies. On the Merman one I used the Concord & 9th All About You Dies to cut out the word YOU. The celebrate is cut from another piece of Bluejay and adhered to the heart with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. I adhered the Bluejay heart to the card front with E-Z Runner and then used 3M Foam Tape to adhered to the Merman one adding the YOU back into the center. A few Pretty Pink Posh Cobalt Sequins complete the card! It’s a nice simple layout and I love the die cut YOU from the heart! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Players challenge! Thanks so much for starting your week off here with me! Have a magnificent Monday! 🙂
