I realized the other day that most of my cards are geared towards the lovely females in my life. Yesterday I thought it would be nice to come up with a nice masculine birthday card. I had purchased some kraft color and black paper the other days and decided that those would make great colors for my card. I’m pretty happy with the results. Let me know what you think. 🙂
The Twins
These two cards have a 70’s inspired feel to them. They are 4 bar cards so they are perfect for a little note to tell someone how much you appreciate them. The kraft paper background, mint green paper, corner rounding and simplicity give them a little bit of a retro feel. The stamps are i-cling from g studios and the paper is Recollections from Michael’s, my favorite!
Saturday Morning Quickie!
I started this card last night so it really was finished this morning. I love the color purple and the script and print stamps that I got from Michael’s are my current favorites. I am going to try using more stamps and branch out a little. I feel like a lot of my cards have been themed the same lately, not that it’s a bad thing. 🙂

Late Night Card
When I got home tonight I decided to make a card for one of my friends to thank them for all that they do for me. I was inspired by the Pals Paper Arts Challenge for this week. I completely forgot that I even had the colors that were to be used in the challenge. Anyway, here is the card below. Let me know what you think!
My new Blog
Hello everyone out there! I’m Justin and I already have a Computer blog on WordPress. I love computers and anything electronic, I read about it all day and love to help people get the most out of their modern day tools. There is however another passion that I have… Card Making. I love to make cards, Birthday, Thank You, Anniversary, Holidays you name it I have a stamp, punch or folder for it. I have always been a creative person and this is a great outlet and I find it very relaxing to do.
In January of this year I was watching WLIW 21-2 Create TV and came across this show called the Spotted Canary. It is a show about crafting but the episode that I caught was one about making cards. They made a waterfall card and gave the instructions on how to do it on their web site. I thought, I can do that so the next day I went out and got some supplies and made the card with my own little twist. As soon as I finished I was hooked! I now have over 100 paper punches, about 60 stamps and tons of embellishments and card stock. Friends ask me to make cards for them now and it makes me very happy to be able to do so. I can’t wait to share some of my creations and get some feedback. Below is a picture of my first card. Let me know what you think!
