Paper Craft Crew 244

It was a gorgeous day yesterday and promises to be even nicer today! I managed to get some things done around the house in the morning and then I headed over to Heather’s for lunch. We sat outside and ate on her new patio set and enjoyed the beautiful day. I came home for a bit and then headed back over there to run a few errands with her. Taylor came by later on and the three of us ran to BJ’s. Lots of stuff to get done today but it will be really hard to stay indoors! 😀

Wednesday and we have a new Paper Craft Crew challenge for you…

Nice and simple so I kept my card really simple! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the flower from the Concord & 9th Brushed Blossom Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Pool, Pool and Navy Ink, it’s cut out with my Scissors. I then stamped the leaves in Mint Julep and the spatter in Navy right onto the card base and then adhered the flower with 3M Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Concord & 9th You’re My Person Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Pool using my Mini MISTI so that I could double stamp it to make it nice and bold. It’s also cut out with my Scissors and adhered with more 3M Foam Tape. All that was left to do was to add some Little Things by Lucy Nautical Sparkle Sequins Mix around the flower. I really like the blues and soft green for the flower and that greeting is still one of my all time favorites! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and let’s see what you do with the sketch, share your card in the gallery with us! Thanks you very much for your visit! Hi! What’s going on by you?! I had a very productive day yesterday. I got a bunch of emails sent out and puts some plans in motion. Sometimes it’s hard to put things in perspective, but eventually you are left with no choice. The rest of the day was fun, Jim came by and we went out a got a late lunch and managed to finish the crafty project that we have been working on! Feels good to have it done. Now we’ll start working on some new ones! Today I have to run over to the Store again and then I have a bunch of projects to get started! 😀

It’s Wednesday so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I wanted a nice simple card and I haven’t used feathers in a very long time! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I adhered a strip of Gold Mirror Card with the ends flagged to it and then got to work on my center panel. The images and greeting are from the Lawn Fawn Dream Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed them and two extras onto a piece of Arches 140lb Cold Press Watercolor Card with Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. They are colored in with my Gansai Tambi Watercolors. The panel is adhered to a piece of Sugarplum and then to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. A strip of Peacock with the left end flagged is adhered along the top of the panel and the two extra feathers are cut out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts and adhered to the right side of the Peacock Strip. I added three Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins and a heavy coat of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to the feathers to complete the card! I do love the feathers, especially in the teal and purple! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for coming but today! I wish you all a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Wednesday already! It was a quiet day at the Store. Renee did have a few people in to do some make up projects. I made a few cards and spoke to Sue. After work I came home, my Parent’s were out at my Brother’s watching the kids. Jim came by and we went for a nice long walk on the bike train again. On the way back we stopped and got Zorn’s for dinner. We worked on the crafty project, we are almost finished, and watched a little TV. Today Renee is off taking care of last minute baby shower things so I’ll be alone. I’m going to try and focus on getting things done! 😀

Since it is Wednesday that means that it’s time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I did a card with a nice ink blended background! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used my Mini Ink Blending Tool to apply some Pale Tomato, Dark Quartz and Soft Vanilla Ink to a piece of Solar White 80lb and set is aside for a little while to dry. Of course after about 10 minutes I got impatient and sped up the drying with my Heat Tool. After it was completely dry I used my Powder Tool and then stamped the images from the Hero Arts Dreams are Made Photopolymer Stamp Set In Versa-Mark and heat embossed them in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. Next I used the Hero Arts Floral Border Fancy Die to cut out a piece of Deep Blue. The greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder onto a strip of Vellum that is adhered around the back of the blue die cut. I added some 3M Foam Tape to the back of the blue die cut and adhered it to the card. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins and the card is done. I do love that Dreams are Made Set, there are some fun images and great greetings in there! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see what the rest of the Team has done and enter your card in the gallery! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wicked Wednesday! 🙂

And it rained all day yesterday just like they said it would. If they were right about that then today will be more of the same. I had a busy day at the Store which is not a bad way to spend said rainy day! Jim came over when I got home and we worked on some more of the crafty project, got some Greek food for dinner and then just relaxed and watched TV. Today I’m flying solo at the Store, Renee is off to take care of some baby shower duties! 😀

It’s Wednesday and that means time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

Are you sick of the stamped backgrounds yet?! I’m still loving them! My card base for today is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the images from the Hero Arts Everything Smiles Stamp & Cut Photopolymer Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black randomly onto a piece of Solar White 80lb and colored them in with my copics. The panel is then trimmed to 3″ x 3″ and adhered to a piece of Tropical Sea and that is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I die cut the speech bubble from the same set from a piece of Wild Honey and adhered that to the card with more Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. The HI is cut from Black using the Hero Arts Alphabet Uppercase Dies. The rest of the greeting is from the Hero Arts Many Everyday Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a strip of Chinese Red. That is adhered over the speech bubble with E-Z Runner and 3D Foam Squares. I decided that the background needed a little something more so I added some dots with my Signo Gold Gel Pen and just a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins finish the card! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG to check out the rest of the Team’s cards and let’s see your take on the sketch in the gallery! Thanks so much for your visit today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Another nice day here on Long Island. We are getting ready to have like seven days of rain in a row, that should be fun! The Store was quite yesterday, Renee was off , it was her boyfriend John’s birthday. I finished getting my tax stuff together and thanks to Melissa they were filed on time! I met Jim at my house after work and we ran to Michaels to get a few supplies to continue working on our crafty project, He made dinner and we watched a little TV before calling it a night. I’ll get ready for card class today, like to have everything done well ahead of time! 😀

It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I went with some bright colors for this one! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the front covered in a piece of Lemon Lime. I used the Lawn Fawn Zig Zag Rectangles Stackables Lawn Cuts to cut out a piece of Cosmic Grape and Lollipop 12×12 Paper. The patterned paper is cut and adhered to the the front bottom and back, on a slight angle. A piece of Pink Baker’s Twine is tied in a bow to hide the seam. The panel is then adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My images and greeting are from the Lawn Fawn Sewn with Love Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the images and the second half to the greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black. The images are colored in with Copics and the Sew is stamped in Bubblegum. I used the Coordinating Lawn Cuts to cut them out and adhered them to a piece of Ballerina Pink that I cut out with the Zig Zag Circles Stackables Lawn Cuts. The circle is adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. After I finished the card I decided that the purple was a little too plain so I stamped some more images from the set in Sugarplum, then it was done! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Hello my peeps! It was a super day here yesterday! I had the top down in the car on the way to the Store and on the way home! It just makes the day so much more bearable! Speaking of the Store, I did get my paperwork sorted out and worked on some projects. After work I came home and met Jim. He brought stuff to make for dinner, chicken, stuffing, mixed veg, it was quite tasty. He’s good too, he always shares with Winston! We worked on our crafty project and then watched a little TV. Today I have a ton of stuff to get finished up, but I do so love what I do! 😀

Let’s see, Wednesday so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I have been really into simple cards lately and believe it or not this one was pretty simple to make! I started with a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and ran it though my Big Shot with the Concord & 9th Say Hello Die and cut out the negative from the front panel. To the back of the front panel I adhered some Acetate. The thin hello is cut from Gold Glitter Card Stock along with a few hearts using one of the dies from the Concord & 9th Lucky Dies. I adhered the thin hello to the negative space hello with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive and the solid and outline hearts with Multi-Matte Medium. All that was left to do was to adhere a piece of Solar White 80lb to the inside so that when you write on the card you can’t see it! I do love the simple gold and white and the see through hello! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! As always, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and see what I’ve been up to! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Another rainy day. It was so foggy too in the morning when I headed over to the Store, again, because of our close proximity to the water I guess. Renee and I had a quiet project filled day. I had to get two cards made and work on some other things. I left the Store around 4:00 to come home and meet Jim. We worked on more of the crafty project and had some Chinese for dinner. Always a nice way to end the day with a good friend! Today, I have to get ready for tomorrow’s Wedding card and gift box class. That should be fun! 😀

Without further ado here is this week’s Sketch for the Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I started my card by cutting a piece of the Echo Park Summer Party Blazing Floral 12×12 Paper and adhering it to a piece of Fun Foam and tying a piece of May Arts Natural Twine around the top. Then I used E-Z Runner Ultra Strong to adhered it to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Next I heat embossed the hello from the Concord & 9th Say Hello Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of Tropical Sea and adhered it to the patterned paper. My Birthday is heat embossed with more White onto a piece of 48lb Vellum. I flagged the bottom, adhered a strip of Candied Yam to the top and then used a little more Fun Foam and E-Z Runner to adhered it under the twine. A nice simple Birthday card! I love that hello stamp, it has a little bit of a stitched look to it! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! I’ll be back at 11:00AM with a second post for you today! Be sure and come back! Another rainy day, well it actually poured in the morning and then just drizzled for the remainder. The weather was gloomy but I had a bright sunny time at the Store. We got a few visitors and Renee and I had a good laugh as we always do! I left around 4:30 to come home and meet Jim. He was already cooking when I arrived. We had a nice dinner, saw Taylor, went over and visited with my Parents and then worked on the crafty project. It’s coming along! I have some Concord & 9th arriving at the Store today! New goodies! Can’t wait to play! 😀

I have a little card to share with you today for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

Funnily enough I actually made this card three week’s ago, it helps to pay attention when checking the Design Team group to see what the next challenge is! LOL! To start my card I stamped the images from the Hero Arts Welcome Home Photopolymer Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black and used my Copics to color them in. The greeting is cut out with the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies and the images with the Coordinating Hero Arts Welcome Home Frame Cuts. To my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I adhered a piece of Chinese Red that I flagged both ends on. My background is a piece of 48lb Vellum, I heat embossed the Hero Arts Wood Floor Bold Prints Background in Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder.  The images and greeting are adhered to the Vellum with 3D Foam Squares and then I adhered the Vellum to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. Apparently I really do like that Welcome Home Set, I have gotten a ton of use out of it! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see what the rest of the Team has dome and let’s see yours in the gallery! Thank you so much for visiting with me today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

It was a beautiful day here yesterday, a little taste of Spring! The Store was pretty busy, I did get the Lawn Fawn order in and emailed everyone to let them know that their goodies had arrived. I got to see Sandy for a bit and then Sue stopped by and right after that Debbie! Today I have to get my butt in gear and make sure that I have all of the projects for upcoming classes ready! I’m even going to send out a newsletter!! Gotta get back into the swing of things! Last night my friend Jim came over. We ran a few errands and picked up dinner, we even put the top down in the car! A little time was also spent working on a special project! It’s going to be great when it’s finished! 😀

It’s Wednesday today so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I actually made the tag for this card a few weeks ago and then made it into a card. I dusted off some older Lawn Fawn sets too! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside Borders to cut the top and bottom of a piece of Herb Garden Card Stock and adhered that across the center. My circle is a piece of Kraft that I cut out with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles Stackables Lawn Cuts. The tag is cut from a piece of Solar White 80lb with the Lawn Fawn Tag, You’re It Lawn Cuts, I tied a piece of Natural Twine through the hole and adhered it to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. All of the images except the worm and branch are from the Lawn Fawn Love you S’more Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Jet Black and colored in with Copics. The worm and branch are from the Lawn Fawn Bugs and Kisses Photopolymer Stamp Set, I used the Coordinating Dies to cut out all of the images and then adhered the to the card with 3D Foam Squares. I love those stamp sets and I’m so happy with the way the marshmallows tuned out! They look nice and toasty! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s card and let’s see yours in the gallery! Well, guess what?! The weather men were thankfully wrong and we only got about 4 inches of snow and then it rained. The snow was really heavy to shovel as you can imagine, still better than the 18 inches that they said we were going to get! I’m sure that the ride to the Store will be fun, it certainly all froze overnight. I spent the day in the house yesterday watching TV and relaxing. I did make my card for today but that was about it. I’ll be glad to get out of the house today! 😀

The card that I made in the Stampin’ Galley is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch…

I used the March My Monthly Hero Kit to make my card! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with a strip of Carta Bella Copper Dots Vellum 12×12 down the left side. I stamped my images from the March My Monthly Hero Kit in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them in with Copics. The Coordinating Dies cut them out. I used a Craft Knife to be able to slide my carrots into the basket. The circle is a piece of Lawn Fawn Noble Fir cut out with the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies. I heat embossed the greeting in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. A strip of Tip Top Taupe and a strip of Tangelo Twist are adhered across the card and then the circle is adhered with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. All that was left to do was to adhere my bunny and basket with some 3M Foam Tape and the card is done! Love that little rabbit and his basket of carrots, so cute! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery!
