Paper Craft Crew 243 – jkcards

Paper Craft Crew 243

Hi! What’s going on by you?! I had a very productive day yesterday. I got a bunch of emails sent out and puts some plans in motion. Sometimes it’s hard to put things in perspective, but eventually you are left with no choice. The rest of the day was fun, Jim came by and we went out a got a late lunch and managed to finish the crafty project that we have been working on! Feels good to have it done. Now we’ll start working on some new ones! Today I have to run over to the Store again and then I have a bunch of projects to get started! πŸ˜€

It’s Wednesday so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

I wanted a nice simple card and I haven’t used feathers in a very long time! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I adhered a strip of Gold Mirror Card with the ends flagged to it and then got to work on my center panel. The images and greeting are from the Lawn Fawn Dream Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed them and two extras onto a piece of Arches 140lb Cold Press Watercolor Card with Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. They are colored in with my Gansai Tambi Watercolors. The panel is adhered to a piece of Sugarplum and then to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. A strip of Peacock with the left end flagged is adhered along the top of the panel and the two extra feathers are cut out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts and adhered to the right side of the Peacock Strip. I added three Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins and a heavy coat of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to the feathers to complete the card! I do love the feathers, especially in the teal and purple! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Some days it is easier to get things accomplished than other days – at least for me.
