SIP Challenge 99 – Packaging!

As far as Monday’s go that wasn’t a bad one! The weather was pleasant, sunny but cool. I got a bunch of things done in the morning. Jim stopped by for a quick visit after work and I got to see Taylor for a bit too! I’m going through the craft closet trying to get things together that I don’t use anymore. It’s amazing how much stuff I have accumulated over the past five years! 😀

It’s Tuesday and time for a new Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

The term packaging covers a broad range of crafty projects! Boxes, gift card holders, wine tags and the list goes on! I love to use stamps to make my own wrapping paper so that’s what I did for today’s challenge and it’s super simple! I have a roll of Kraft Paper so I cut some off and used the Concord & 9th Globe Greetings Photopolymer Stamp Set to stamp, randomly, the world on it in Lawn Fawn Noble Fir Ink. When I make the wrapping paper I also usually make a tag. I stamped the world onto a piece of Kraft card stock and used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. On the back I stamped the greeting World’s Best Friend in Fish Tank, punched a hole in top and threaded some Natural Twine through it. Simple and you can also then match your card, tag and wrapping paper together! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team project for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Packaging Challenge! We hope to see what you create in the gallery and if you need a little more inspiration head on over to the BLOG! Thank you for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

Hey all! Hope your week is off to a stellar start! I had a busy morning, I ran over to the Store to see Renee for a bit, came back home and packed up some orders, went to the Post Office and then watched some more of Blindspot! Almost through the second season! This morning I have some cleaning up to do and then I’m going to have a little lunch with Jim. 😀

I’ll have two posts for you today! This one is for the new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

Kid’s Birthday cards are always easier to make with a little Lawn Fawn! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the front covered in a piece of Moonstone Blue that I cut out with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Stackables Lawn Cuts. I used the Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders Lawn Cuts to cut out three piece of Solar White 80lb and adhered them to the card. My images and greeting are from the Lawn Fawn Critters Ever After Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I used my Copics to color them in and then cut them out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts. All that was left to do was to add some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins to give the card a little magical sparkle! A fun simple card to give to your favorite little prince or princess! SIP Challenge 97 – Mother’s Day!

Another Monday for the books! I managed to get a few things done at the Store and got to see a few peeps too! Dinner with my Parent’s when I got home and then I took a ride out to see Patti and Tom with Heather. We had a nice visit as we always do. Their dog Sam just loves me and has a hard time leaving me alone but she’s so cute…

She sits in the chair like she’s a person! She also thinks that she is a lap dog, that’s clearly not the case! LOL! I’m going to attempt to be productive again today, wish me luck! 😀

Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I have made a bunch of Mother’s Day cards so here is one more to add to the pile! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I place the card base in my Mini Misti and used the Hero Arts Color Layering Large Orchid to add my flowers with Mint Julep and Grape Juice Ink. The stems are stamped in Lime Green and the greeting in more Grape Soda. Another super simple one layer card! And just in case you were wondering, there really are Orchids that are that color…

SIP Challenge 96 – CAS Wedding!

Hey there! It’s to be rainy and chilly again for the next few days, but will warm up at the weekend! Another fun Monday spent a the Store. Poor Renee, she gets to listen to me whine sometimes and I appreciate that. I did get a few kits made of the Wedding Card that I posted a few weeks ago. I would love to kit up more cards but it’s not easy unless they are limited in stamping! I had another quiet evening at home after a quick dinner with my folks. I haven’t been myself lately, lots going on. But this all will pass, hopefully soon. 😀

It’s time today for another Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

Ahh, clean and simple, loving those kind of cards lately! My card today is definitely not a difficult one to make! Onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped my images and greeting with my Mini MISTI. The flowers are from the Altenew Remember This Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the large flower in Lava Rock and then masked it and stamped the smaller flowers and leaves. After removing the mask I added two more layers to the large flower with Moon Rock and Evening Gray. My greeting is from the Altenew Celebrations Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Lava Rock. I was going to add a few sequins but actually like the card just the way it is! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! There are some excellent projects over on the BLOG from the rest of the Design Team so make sure you take a look! We would love to see your project in the gallery too! Thank you for taking some time to come by and see me today! Have a great Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 95 – A Sketch!

Another Monday behind us! It was overcast but warm here yesterday, I’ll take that! The Store was busy, it was Home Decor day and everyone came in to paint their wood pieces. I worked on some cards for upcoming classes and got some more of my tax stuff together which is also what I did last night! Nothing like waiting until the last minute! I had dinner when I got home and was going to do a little cleaning but the taxes had to come first. I also had to run over to my friend Sue’s house for a bit to pick up some things and stopped at Target on the way back to get Winston some food. I like Tuesday’s because this evening I get to work on the crafty project with my friend! 😀

Today it’s time for a new challenge from Stamp, Ink, Paper

I started my card by using the Concord & 9th Floral Fill-In Patterned Paper and the Coordinating Stencils to add Merman Ink to the paper with a Mini Ink Blending Tool. I then used the second stencil to add Versa-Mark and heat embossed it with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. The panel is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I stamped the flower from the Concord & 9th Fill-In Phrases Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman heat embossed the second layer in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder to match the paper. It’s cut out with my Scissors and adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. The greeting is from the Concord & 9th Happy Day Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a strip of Solar White 80lb. Some more 3D Foam Squares adhered it to the card right under the stamped flower and the card is done! I do love that Fill-In Paper, such a very clever idea!! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Sketch Challenge! We have some great inspiration from the rest of the Team over on the BLOG and we can’t wait to see your card in the gallery! Thank you for coming by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 94 – Tic-Tac-Toe from LeAnne!

The weather men were right for a change, it turned out to be a very nice sunny day here! I think Spring may have finally come! We had a busy day at the Store with Renee, Angie and I all working on projects. I had a little dinner with the folks when I got home and then had a nice relaxing evening. I did start watching 13 Reason Why on Netflix, it’s a pretty good show and I think that it should be required for all teenagers to see. Maybe we would all be a little nicer to each other. It’s sad but sometimes we need to see that the way we treat other people can have lasting repercussions. Today will be spent organizing paperwork, I need to get my tax stuff together! 😀

It’s time now for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge and we have a fun Tic-Tac-Toe Board from LeAnne…

To start my card I stamped the shirt, pants and flowers from the April My Monthly Hero Kit in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored them in with my Copics and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I also stamped the head and feet onto a Post-it note and cut them out with my Scissors. The Hero Arts Paper Layering Eiffel Tower Die is cut from Kraft. I placed the images and Eiffel Tower onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to decided where I needed to stamp the head and feet for the girl. Once they were stamped I removed all of the pieces and added the masks over the stamped images on the card. Using my Mini Ink Blending Tool I added Hero Arts Soft Pool and Green Hills Ink, a piece of Post-it Tape helps give me the nice crisp line between the colors. Next I removed the masks and adhered the pants, shirt and flowers too the card. The Eiffel Tower was adhered after I added the lace to the top of the card with Multi-Matte Medium. All that was left to do was to add the greeting, also from the April My Monthly Hero Kit and also stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I do really like the images in the kit, they sort of remind me of vintage Barbie! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge from LeAnne! We hope to see your creation in the gallery so stop by the BLOG for some more inspiration from the rest of the Team! Thank you for visiting with me today! Have an amazing Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 93 – Coming Up Flowers!

Another really nice day yesterday! Sunny and warm with just a little breeze! Today we are to have a very rainy morning and then spots of rain for the rest of the day, but still not cold! YAY! I stopped by the bank on the way to the Store in the morning and they were not helpful at all. I’m over it so I’ll be switching to a new bank as soon as this is cleared up. I had a pretty productive day when I got to the Store. Renee had her Christmas Card Club and my friend Sue stopped by, always nice to see her! I had a quick dinner with my Parents when I got home and then went over to get Heather so we could go and see Brian and Kim! It’s been ages since we have all hung out but it was like no time passed at all. Good friends! Lots of projects are on tap for today and Jim will be by later to work on the crafty project! Should be a great day! 😀

What makes it even better is it’s time for a new Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

That’s right! Just add some flowers to your project! I though that it might get Spring here a bit faster if we all do it together! LOL! I played with some of the new line of products from the latest Concord & 9th release. My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. That pretty background is created using the Concord & 9th Floral Fill-In Patterned Paper and the Floral Fill-In Stencils. I used my Mini Ink Blending Tool to add Ballerina Pink for the first layer of the stencil and Bubblegum for the second layer and adhered the panel to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. The flower in the upper right is from the Concord & 9th Fill-In Phrases Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in the same two colors. I cut it out with my Scissors and adhered it to the card with 3D Foam Squares. My big hello is cut out from a piece of Pink Vellum for the outline a piece of Black for the inside. I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhere the black to the outline and then teeny dots of Multi-Matte Medium to adhered it to the card. The friend is from the Concord & 9th Say Hello Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Black Licorice under the hello and the card is done! I love those Floral Fill-In Paper and Stencils, you can make your flowers any color that you want, such a cool idea! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s projects, including this month’s Guest Designer Bibiana Cameron! We hope that you will share your project with us in the gallery! SIP Challenge 92 – Color Inspiration!

What started out to be a rainy drizzly morning brightened up by the afternoon. Renee and I kept busy at the Store, she had her Monthly Memories class and I worked on some projects. After work I went straight over to see Heather. We ran a few errands and then had dinner. After that we watched a little TV. Today I have so many more projects to work on at the Store and then Jim is coming over this evening to make dinner. We will work on more of the crafty project too! Should be a very good day! 😀

It’s Tuesday and that means that it’s time for a new Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I wanted to make a nice simple card, these colors are some of my favorites! I started out by stamping the blossom from the Concord & 9th Brushed Blossom Photopolymer Stamp Set in Wet Cement, Passion Fruit, Grape Soda, Charcoal and Soft Pool using my Mini MISTI. The greeting is stamped in Charcoal and the dots in Wet Cement. I adhered the panel to a piece of Soft Sky and then to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The delicate die cut is cut from Kraft using the Concord & 9th Blossom Die and it’s adhered to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst and Sparkling Clear Sequins give the card a little sparkle! I do love that flower, so deconstructed. I also like that the Die doesn’t match up perfectly! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Inspiration Challenge! Make sure and stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Design Team’s cards! We hope to see yours in the gallery! Thanks for dropping by today! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 90 – Shaker Card!

Ugh! SNOW! They keep changing the totals but we are to get between 5 to 18 inches! That’s way too much! I know that I keep on whining but I’m over Winter already! Hopefully this will be the last hurrah and we will be able to move on to warmer temps! It was another nice day at the Store! My friend Arnise stopped by and Angie was in too. I got some things accomplished and also brought my stuff home, the Store will be closed today. I’ll get to craft in the Stampin’ Galley! I had a quick dinner with my Parents when I got home, chatted with Heather for a bit and then Jim came by. We watched YouTube videos and just hung out. A nice relaxing evening with a friend, who could ask for anything more?!

It’s Tuesday and that means that it’s time for a new Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! This week we ask you to join us and make a shaker card…

I do love to make a shaker and it’s been a while since I have. I started out by cutting a piece of Solar White 80lb with the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Ovals Stackables Lawn Cuts and using both sides to add some Fish Tank and Merman Ink to another piece of Solar White 80lb with my Mini Ink Blending Tool. All of my images are from the Sunny Studio Froggy Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped them all in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them in with Copics. They are then cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I adhered the Lilly pad to my background and stamped the ripples in Fish Tank. The cattails and flower are then added and the sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. To make my frame I cut out a piece of Deep Blue with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles Stackables Lawn Cuts and adhered a piece of Acetate to back with Scor-Tape. A single layer of 3M Foam Tape is added and then I sprinkled some Pretty Pink Posh Holiday Shimmer Mix Sequins onto the background and adhered the frame over it. The frog and the flies are adhered with more 3M Foam Tape onto the Acetate and then the whole thing is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I love that super happy little frog and the flies, so cute! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Shaker Card Challenge! Make sure and stop by the BLOG to see what the rest of the talented Design Team has made to inspire you and let’s see your card in the gallery! Thank you for stopping by! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

SIP Challenge 89 – A Sketch!

Yup, still cold here! I did have a very fun day in Manhattan yesterday! Ella and I had a nice visit and took a little trip to the Apple Store to get her iPhone fixed. From there I headed down to The Ink Pad to see my friend Anna! We got caught up and I had some Dirty Bird for lunch, delicious. I took the 3:01 train back out to the Island and got to spend some time with my Brother, Erika, Daniel and Tristan. We had cake for my Dad’s birthday which was on the 1st. I stopped home quick and then went over to Heather’s so that we could take a drive to see our friends Patti and Tom and the kids. We had a nice time and quick ride home. Today I’m back at the Store with lots of things to catch up on! 😀

It’s time now for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I do love a new release from Lawn Fawn and I haven’t really played with the Bicycle Built for You Set yet so that’s what I used on today’s card! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I adhered a strip of Lawn Fawn Rudolph 12×12 Paper and a thin strip of Black Licorice down the left side. To create my little scene I cut out a piece of Mermaid with the Lawn Fawn Zig Zag Circles Stackables, I also used the Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside Borders to cut out a piece of Noble Fir and the Lawn Fawn Road Border to cut out a piece of Black Licorice and Solar White 80lb. The Zig Zag Circles are used again to cut the edges off of them and they are lined them with the Mermaid Circle to adhere them all together. I used a some Fun Foam and E-Z Runner to adhere the circle to the card. My images and greeting are from the Lawn Fawn Bicycle Built for You Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored them in with Copics and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. They are adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. All that was left to do was to stamp the greeting in the lower right! I do like the set and all of the little pieces that you can change up! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards including this month’s Guest Designer Sue Plote! We hope that you will share your take on the sketch by adding it to the gallery!
