A very good Friday morning to you! It’s my favorite day of the week! I have some projects to get to this weekend, a one year old birthday party and a little outing with my friend Sandy! Avery nice simple panel that I thought would be perfect for a non-tradiotional Holiday card. The base of my card is Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. I added a panel of Summer Starfruit to the base. The strip of paper across the bottom is from the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack and I backed it with a piece of Early Espresso to make it a little more rigid. The ribbon is Summer Starfruit 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon and I used a Round Designer Ribbon Slide instead of a bow. Some Sticky Strip adheres it around the back of the DSP strip and some more Sticky Strip on each side holds it a little above the card. The image is from the Christmas Lodge Stamp Set and is stamped in Always Artichoke on Very Vanilla. I stamped the greeting from the More Merry Messages in Cherry Cobbler and backed it with a piece of Early Espresso. Some Stampin’ Dimensionals hold it to the card. I really like the combination of the Summer Starfruit, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso. The houndstooth DSP and the colors give it a little bit of a vintage feel without any distressing.
