SIP Challenge 15 – Colors!

First day back to work not too bad, I did have over 1000 emails that I finally got though around 3:30. I met with some people to catch up on what happened while I was away. Just another typical day. My friend Louis stopped by in the evening and we went out and got some frozen yogurt. I got peach and it was delicious! Not a bad day but not an I’m on vacation day either! LOL!

Now on to toady’s post, it’s time for another Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! This week we have some colors from Andrea…

SIP Color Challenge 15

I pulled out some Mama Elephant goodies to make this one. My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. A strip of Basic Black that I embossed with the We R Memory Keepers Woodgrain Embossing Folder goes down the right side. My flowers are from the Mama Elephant Freestyle Florals Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Daffodil Delight on Daffodil Delight, cut out with the coordinating dies and adhered to the card with SNAIL. My greeting is cut from some Pool Party using the Mama Elephant Thanks Script Die twice. They are adhered together with 2-Way Glue and then across the flowers with some more. Nice and simple and flat so it’s easy to mail! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Color Challenge! Head on over to the blog and check out the rest of the talented Design Team’s cards and make one of your own to enter in the gallery! Thank you very much for visiting me today! Have a terrific Tuesday! 🙂

  1. Ha, ha . . . well I don’t think I’m awake yet. I thought it was a 15-color challenge. I was wondering how you were going to get 15 colors on one card. I love the daffodil delight and the pool party, but not too sure about the black.
    🙂

    1. LOL! That would be an impressive amount of colors! I love a little pop of black on a card, even just for the sentiment! 🙂

  2. Oh Brian – thanks so much for sharing all those photos from leadership! I have to admit that SU does it right! All of their demonstrator gatherings seem to be filled with so much fun, done so elegantly and full of free surprises but the leadership one is definitely the best. Everything is just beautiful and I truly did fall in love with the unique pieces of art designed specifically for each individual person. Their gatherings look like so much fun!

    1. What the heck happened? My comment to Brian showed up instead of my comment to you. My apologies for that Justin. Now let me go find what happened to my comment to you. I am very embarrased – so sorry.

  3. Hi Justin:

Glad you survived yesterday. How the heck did you get through 1,000 emails in one day? It takes me 2 or 3 nights to catch up with my emails when I am away and I only have about 400. I am very impressed.

I just love that wood grain EF and am somewhat surprised at how well it shows up with the black. I also really like clean and simple cards. I checked out the blog and every card on it was fabulous. Quite a talented group I would say.

You have yourself a Terrific Tuesday. Not quite sure what I am going to do today but I do know this – it won’t be housework. Love and hugs to you my friend. XO

    1. Hello Grace!
It was not easy to get through all of those emails!! I just wanted them gone!
I do love some Black embossed with woodgrain! I definitely do have quite the talented group of peeps!
I had a busy Tuesday but like you said the day goes by quick! LOL! Good for you! Get out and enjoy the last of warm weather! Love and big hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

  4. Well I can think of many horrible issues on the first day back to work, yes emails are high on that list. I wasn’t too sure of the color combo, but once again you nailed it.

    1. Yes, emails are one of the worst things on a first day back Linda! Even thought the out of office was on! LOL! I love the colors and I had fun with them! Thank you! 🙂
