Gold You’re Enough

How is your weekend going? Mine is pretty good! It was a little gloomy here in the morning but brightened up by the end of the day. The store was busy today with people taking Angie’s Folio class. They made a really nice masculine one with fold-outs and lots of pockets! I did some more administrative stuff and a little ordering too. We had a meeting at the end of the day, always a good way to end the day! It was sunny on the way home so down went the top in the car! I had dinner with my parent’s and then came home with Winston and crafted for a bit and even snuck in a little TV! Today I will be taking a little time to get organized and plan for some upcoming classes at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store!

I have been on a little bit of a “Kraft-y” kick lately! Get it?! LOL! My card today starts off with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, the front is covered in a piece of Black 110lb. I stamped my flower from the Concord & 9th You’re Enough Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Bubblegum and Ultra Pink Inks using my MISTI. The outline is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. It’s then run through my Big Shot with the Concord & 9th You’ve Got This Die. I adhered a piece of Gold Mirror Card to the base and then adhered the Kraft panel with the die cut over that. Another nice simple card but the gold behind the die cut greeting really gives it a little bit of a wow! I hope that you enjoyed my card today! As always, I appreciate your visit and hope that you enjoy the rest of your weekend! šŸ™‚

  1. Beautiful card today. I love that flower stamp and see it so many different colors. The big greeting diecut then backed with the gold mirror paper definitely is a great touch. So glad you are having some days to drive with the top down to enjoy the fresh air. Take care. Enjoy your Sunday.

    1. Thanks very much HJ! The stamp is very versatile! The greeting is good for so many occasions, I think it would make a great graduation card! I love having the top down in the car, so much fun! I hope that you have a fabulous Sunday! šŸ™‚

  2. WOW! I love this card. Gold with that flower on kraft is a beautiful combination.

  3. Hi Justin:

Love the gold foil cardstock on this card. The flower is beautiful and for a CAS card, the use of the gold really pack a punch! I love CAS cards! They are always pretty versatile and yet so pleasing to the eye. Great job (as always) my artistic friend!

The kids have left and I miss them already. I am going to play slug this afternoon and park my butt on the couch and watch the race, provided it hasn’t been rained out, and forget about all the things I should be doing. Tomorrow I really, really, really have to get busy. I want all the spring cleaning done before the hubs returns on the 12th. It’s so much easier to get through all that cleaning when I don’t have to stop and prepare meals! LOL I hope you have a Stellar Sunday my artistic friend. Love and hugx, XXOO

    1. Hello Grace!
Thanks! I love that Gold Mirror Card! I have been into CAS cards lately too and yes, that flower from C&9 is perfect!

Yup, get all of the stuff that you want to get done before hubby comes home! My Sunday was great! I hope that your race didn’t get rained out! Love and hugs! XOXO šŸ™‚

  4. I wanted to reply to Grace about being able to get so much more accomplished when the hubs is away. I have found that to be so true, but didn’t realize I wasn’t alone in that idea. Have a great time cleaning and feel that sense of accomplishment! Love your attitude and everyday I look forward to your comments on Justin’s blog. It is a community spread across the world. We have another thing in common and that is that we both love Justin’s wonderful creativity he shares with us everyday. Take care.

    1. Thanks HJ! Love the hubs but love not having to cook twice a day at a certain time! LOL
