I wanted to do a happy spring card and what better to use than the new Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (Pre-Order). It has one of my favorite colors in it, Island Indigo and that’s what I used for my card base. I took a piece of Whisper White and adhered three different coordinating patterns of the Summer Smooches DSP to it. Then I took a piece of Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon and wrapped that around the front. I used the trusty fork method to tie my bow and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot. The image is form the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set (Pre-Order) and is stamped in Island Indigo. I used the 1/2″ Circle Punch to punch out a piece of Island Indigo Card Stock and I tied a piece of Island Indigo Bakers Twine through one of the Brights Collection Buttons and adhered that with a Mini Glue Dot. The greeting is from the Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set and too is stamped in Island Indigo. I used the 2 3/8″ Scalloped Circle Punch to punch out some Daffodil Delight to mount the stamped image on. I can’t help but smile when I look at the card. It’s nice, simple and happy. Thanks for stopping by and have an awesome day!
