Good morning and happy Friday! Did you all have a nice Valentine’s Day? Mine was pretty good. I stopped by my friend Sandy’s and then went over and spent some time with the lovely Kim, Heather, Izzy and Savannah! Izzy said my name last and it was so cute. She is just way too adorable, if you whisper something to her she whispers it back.
Today I have my Create with Connie and Mary Challenge card for you. This week we have a sketch…
NIce and simple! While I was rifling through my supplies I came across an embossing folder that I haven’t used in ages so I thought this would be a good card for it. The base of my card is Very Vanilla Card Stock. I embossed a piece of Chocolate Chip with the Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the left side. The right side has a piece of paper from the Tea Time Designer Series Paper Pack. The pattern in the paper matches the pattern in the stamp. I adhered a piece of Raspberry Ripple 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon around the back with some Sticky Strip before I mounted it to the card. The stamped image is the Thinking of You Wood Mount Stamp. I stamped it twice, once in Chocolate Chip and again in Raspberry Ripple. The Raspberry Ripple piece is cut out with some Sizzix Circle Framelits and mounted to the Chocolate Chip piece, that I cut out with the Window Frames Collection Framelits Dies, and then to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. An In Color Dahlia finishes off the card. I like the colors together and the fact that the patterns in the paper and stamp match is pretty neat.
