Good Wednesday morning my peeps! How are you today? I’m ok, I have a toothache. Thankfully I took some Ibuprofen and it helped. I guess I will be going to the Dentist. I really don’t like the dentist. I guess I had a bad experience when I was little because I have a un-natural fear. Wish me luck! On the weather front, we didn’t get any snow today, I was mistaken. It’s supposed to happen tonight with anywhere from 1″ to 3″. I’m hoping for the 1″ if any!
Today, being Wednesday, means it time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge. This week we have a sketch…
Since Valentine’s Day is tomorrow I went with a love theme. The base of my card starts off with a piece of Real Red Card Stock and the background is just a plain piece of Crumb Cake. Up in the right hand corner we have a piece of Whisper White that I stamped in Real Red using the Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set and I cut it out with the Hearts a Flutter Framelits Dies. The ticket is from the That’s the Ticket Stamp Set and is also stamped in Real Red. I punched it out with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch and put a piece of Real Red behind it and ticketed the corners with the Small Heart Punch. A Tea Lace Doily serves as a background for my pair of Real Red hearts that I cut out with the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit and mounted to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a little sparkle I punched a piece of Red Glimmer Paper out with the Small Heart punch and adhered that too with a Stampin’ Dimensional. I like the simplicity of the card but it also has just enough to not be too simple. I hope that you enjoyed my Paper Craft Crew Design Team card for this week.
