Good day! How are you doing? I’m ok, that was a long day yesterday. I got about 4 1/2 hours of sleep and I’m pooped! The weather was nice for about two hours and then we were back to it feeling like February! I got my Sneak Peek 2014 Catalog order in and my goodies will be here Friday! Woo hoo! That means I can play over the weekend. I can’t wait! There is so much in the new catalog that I love, I will miss the retiring supplies and stamp sets but it happens every year and I’m used to it by now.

I’m really liking the Epic Day This and That products. They have some great colors and patterns. The base of my card is Crumb Cake with a piece of Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper for the background. Across the middle is a piece of Whisper White with some Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon. Some Basic Gray is embossed with the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I stamped off the words on a diagonal from the Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set in Crumb Cake. The butterflies are from the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set and are punched out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. I used my Bone Folder and the Stampin’ Pierce Mat to curve the wings. Woo hoo! The color renovation has been announced! I’m so happy that they have kept four of the five 2011-2013 In-Colors! I’m a little sad to see that Lucky Limeade didn’t make the cut but we also got some former In-Colors back too! Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky, Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzaz and Blushing Bride along with a new color Smokey Shadow. They have also moved some colors to different families and of course they are retiring some colors. Say so long to Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Bravo Burgundy, Not Quite Navy, More Mustard and River Rock. Change is a good thing!
