Hey there! It’s Wednesday already! It was a busy morning here with the 2013-2014 Catalog being made available to the Demonstrators. So much to look at, so many awesome products, you are going to love it!! I placed my sneak peek order this morning so hopefully by the beginning of next week I’ll have some samples for you! Oh, I almost forgot, the weather here today was like February, cold and overcast but today it’s supposed to get up to the high 60’s. Come on warm weather I know you can do it! LOL!
Today’s card – Paper Craft Crew Design Team Sketch #39…
There is a theme to go along with this one too, Mother’s Day. The base of my card is Early Espresso and the background is a piece of Tea for Two Designer Series Paper. Another piece of the DSP is backed with some So Saffron across the middle. Some Pretty in Pink is punched out with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. The stamped image is from the Best of Flowers Stamp Set and is stamped in Basic Black and colored in with my Stampin’ Write Markers. For the greeting I inked up a stamp from the Family Reunion Stamp Set in Early Espresso and punched it out with the 1 1/4″ Circle Punch and backed with a piece of Calypso Coral punched out with the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch. Woo hoo! The color renovation has been announced! I’m so happy that they have kept four of the five 2011-2013 In-Colors! I’m a little sad to see that Lucky Limeade didn’t make the cut but we also got some former In-Colors back too! Bermuda Bay, Soft Sky, Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzaz and Blushing Bride along with a new color Smokey Shadow. They have also moved some colors to different families and of course they are retiring some colors. Say so long to Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Bravo Burgundy, Not Quite Navy, More Mustard and River Rock. Change is a good thing!
