Ahh yes people, it’s FRIDAY! My most favorite day of the week! Work is done (soon) and we will be on to the weekend! I will be in Manhattan tomorrow morning and my friend Kim will be coming home with me. Sunday we have adorable little Savannah’s Christening. It’s going to be a very nice weekend! I hope that you all enjoyed the Control Freaks June Blog Tour yesterday. Thank you for all of you comments!
Today’s post – Mojo Monday 298, a sketch by Julee Tilman…
I looked at the sketch and guess what I saw?! For the base of my card I used Very Vanilla Card Stock. The paper is from the Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper Pack. I think that it’s safe to say that this and the Soho Subway DSP are my favorite from the new catalog. I cut out the flags with the Bitty Banners Framelits Dies and adhered them behind a piece of Crumb Cake. Some Gumball Green 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon is adhered with some Sticky Strip and the bow is my new favorite kind. It’s a little more complicated to make but it looks so nice! The frame is made with some Very Vanilla and the Squares Collection Framelits are used to cut out the middle where another piece of the Epic Day This and That DSP is. The butterflies are cut out with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and adhered with some Stampin’ Dimensional pieces. For the greeting I used the Really Good Greeting Stamp Set and stamped it in Calypso Coral Ink. I know, my obsession with the picture frames needs to calm down a little but they look so nice and work for so many things. Thank you very much for taking some time to stop by and see my Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge card for this week. I hope that you have an awesome Friday!! 🙂

Love this card. Butterflies – beautiful.
Justin, I love ALL your cards. You are very talented. If I had to pick just one of your cards for my favorite – it would be ALL of them. No way to pick just one. I am starting to get quite a collection of your cards. hehe
Why thank you very much Cynthia! That makes me very happy! 🙂
Justin, this is another pretty card! I so love that butterflies die and have already worn one out!! Do you have the magnetic platform for your Big Shot? If so what do you think of it? It sounds like a wonderful idea! Have a great weekend!
Thank you Jean! I surprised my Beautiful Wings Embosslit isn’t worn out! I do have the Magnetic Platform and I love it! I hope that you enjoy your weekend too! 🙂
Hi Justin. I like this card a lot especially the sweet colours and the dinky butterflies. Cute!
Thanks Karen! They are dinky little butterflies aren’t they?!
