So how was your Saturday? It was a very nice day here yesterday, warm and sunny. I went to see Pitbull and Ke$ha last night at Jones Beach Theater. It is one of my favorite places to see a concert. It’s an outdoor amphitheater right on the water, in fact the stage is in the water! Pitbull was awesome, high energy and a great show. I was surprised that Ke$ha was pretty good too! They had a DJ in between and he was great too! All in all a very nice night!
Today’s post is for this week’s Paper Players. This time we have a theme challenge from the superb Jaydee…
Summer! I pondered about what stamps to use for a while and then I remembered a “Vintage” one that is the perfect image of summer. The base of my card is Pacific Point Card Stock. The background is a piece of Tangerine Tango and before I adhered it to the card I put a little piece of the Gingham Garden Washi Tape in the upper right. The image is the “Vintage” Sail Away Stamp and I stamped it in Pacific Point and backed it with some Daffodil Delight. The greeting is from the Pursuit of Happiness Stamp Set that will be “Vintage” as of Monday. I used another soon to be “Vintage” product, a Brights Collection Designer Button with a piece of Tangerine Tango in the middle. It sort of reminded me of the sun so it went with the greeting. I think the sail away image with the sketched sail boat and seagulls is perfect for summer, don’t you? Thank you so very much for stopping by to see my Paper Players Guest Designer card for this week’s Summer Theme challenge from Jaydee. Head on over to the Paper Players blog and check out the other awesome designers cards and enter on of yours in the gallery. Have a wonderful Sunday!
