There goes another weekend, fast as can be! I had a nice weekend and I hope that you did too. I went to my friends the Reed’s for Kevin’s 29th Birthday Party yesterday. I love spending time with my friends because they are awesome. I got to spend a lot of time with them over the weekend so it was definitely a good weekend. As promised I have another one of my Display Stamper Projects at the end of the post for you today. I decided to go by set so this is number 2 for the Hello, Lovely Stamp Set.

Now on to the good stuff! First up we have this week’s Paper Players Challenge. This week the lovely LeAnne has give us a very nice sketch…
I really like it! I also thought it would be perfect to use a new goodie that I have. The base of my card is Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. For the background I embossed a piece of Whisper White with the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The horizontal layer is a piece of paper from the Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack* and I backed it with a piece of Old Olive. The brads are actually some “Vintage” Everyday Enchantment that I lightly sanded and heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The vertical Layer is one of the Season of Style Designer Journaling Tags*. They are designed for the new Divided Pages in the 2013 Holiday Catalog but I thought they might work for cards too. I backed it with a piece of Baked Brown Sugar and added two thin Strips of Champagne Glimmer Paper for some sparkle. I think the journaling tag works quite well on a card and did you notice, there is no stamping! Oh no! LOL! Thank you very much for stopping by to visit and see my Paper Players Card for this week’s sketch from LeAnne. Don’t forget to scroll down and see my Display Stamper card #2! Have a great day! 🙂
