Ok, so yesterday morning around 6:30 it started snowing, and I mean blizzard! We got three inches in about 3 hours! No, it was not in the forecast… I know what you are thinking, the weatherman wrong?! No, that can’t be! LOL! After the snow ended the sun came out and it went up to 56 degrees. Are you as confused as I am?! Someone is!! Other than that it was a Monday, work, not my favorite. I did come home and manage to make my Mojo card in 20 minutes! That never happens but I do love when it does! You will have to wait until Thursday to see it though! How was your Monday? 🙂
Before we got to today’s post here are the weekly deals from Stampin’ Up!
Today I’m over on the Catherine & Cathy Create Blog for this month’s challenge. We have a lovely inspiration picture for you too…
There are some lovely colors in there aren’t there? I started off with a base of Early Espresso Card Stock, a color that I haven’t used in quite a while. Next up is a panel of Whisper White that I adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut out some Garden Green with the Little Leaves Sizzlit and adhered them to the panel with 2-Way Glue. The large flowers are from the Flower Shop Stamp Set and are stamped in Strawberry Slush and punched out with the Pansy Punch. The smaller flowers are from the Petite Petals Stamp Set and are stamped in Daffodil Delight and punched out with the Petite Petals Punch. Some Mini Glue Dots adhere all of the flowers to the panel. My tag is a piece of Vellum Card Stock and I punched the top with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. The greeting is from the Hip Notes Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Early Espresso Stampin’ Emboss Powder. A piece of twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack is tied in a bow at the top and the tag is adhered with a few more Mini Glue Dots. I love the way that you can see the flowers behind the tag but the greeting is still nice and bold. Now that you have seen my card head on over to the blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has come up with and enter your card in the gallery for a chance to win this month’s prize! I hope you enjoyed my take on the inspiration photo and I thank you for coming by to see me today! Have a great Tuesday! 🙂
