Yes, I’m quite late this morning! I had a nice day yesterday, not too busy at work. I came home and picked up Taylor and then headed over to Scrap-A-Latte for the card class. I always like to get there early, we grabbed some dinner from Panera and finished up last minute stuff. I had told my friend Brian that I thought he should come and he did! Everyone had a good time! One of my friends from Facebook, Denisse, came too! It was very nice to get to meet her in person! We finished up around 9:30, and helped Renee clean up. My friend Fred had called and asked me to meet him at the bar near my office for a drink. Brian said that he would come so we went there and Taylor took my car home. Fred is a very funny, nice guy but he’s even funnier when he’s had a few! LOL! After the bar we headed to the Diner for a little snack. I haven’t been to the diner that late in years! By the time I got home it was 1:45 and I thought I’ll make my card in the morning. So I got up this morning and made a “quick” card, not really! I didn’t think that I would have to wait for the pieces to dry before assembling the card, so that’s why I’m late! LOL! Here are a few pictures from class last night…
And there I am with Renee! So much fun!
So my “quick” card is for this week’s Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge…
My card starts off with a base of Basic Black Card Stock. To create the shaker I used a piece of Basic Gray for the base. The images are from the Embellished Events Stamp Set and are stamped in Encore Silver Metallic Ink, I hit them with the Heat Tool to make sure that they were nice and dry. A few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins are adhered over the bubbles with Crystal Effects. My frame is cut out with the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangles and the center with the Ovals Collection Framelits. a piece of Window Sheet is adhered to the frame and two layers of Fun Foam make the space for my silver seed beads. The congrats is a die from Ellen Hutson and is cut out from a piece of Silver Foil Sheet, some 2-Way Glue adheres it to the card. Not such a quick card but I do love the way it came out, lots of sparkle and shine! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge! Thank you so much for stopping by, I wish you all a super Saturday! 🙂

Good Morning Justin:
Your card for today can only be described as “luscious”. I think if I made that one I would have to keep it and frame it. I don’t think I could give it away. Very classy and beautiful. Any couple would be absolutely thrilled to receive this hand made card.
Sounds like you had a great time last night and that is as it should be. I haven’t stayed out that late in more years than I care to think about. Glad Taylor took your car home for you and I hope you had a designated driver. I bet your energy level is a bit lower than normal after a night like that! LOL Hey, we all need to push the boundaries every once in a while. It looks like everyone was enjoying your class. AND Renee is just adorable – so cute! I hope her business is a tremendous success. Owning your own business is tough work and requires all your attention 24/7.
Have yourself a Super Saturday and recoup from your adventures yesterday. Hugs! 🙂
Hello Grace!
Thank you!! I do like all of the shine! The seed beads make a nice shaker addition! I like the noise they make!
I did have a wonderful time at class and seeing friends after! I too have not been out that late in a really long time, let alone at the diner! I am not a big drinker so only one beer. I was ok all day, as long as keep busy I’m good! I think that everyone had a nice time at class and yes yes, Renee is wonderful. She is realizing that working 7 days a week is tough and I might work one or two days for her to give her a break.
I hope that you enjoyed your Saturday and that your Sunday is even better! Hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

That’s a beauty, Justin!!! *Love* it! I’ve been trying to catch up on my personal email that stacked up since the beginning of December. So, I’ve been rushing through my email, but I just had to stop and comment on this.
