Yay it’s Friday! Boo, I have to work! Hopefully it will be a quick day! Yesterday was overcast but nice, lots of thing accomplished at work. Robin and I had Panera for lunch, I got my favorite the Chicken Cobb with Avocado Salad, YUM! After work I came home and made a few cards and then went out to the Saab to see if I could fix the iPod cable. Of course, I didn’t check to see which replacement I needed and I guessed wrong! Oh well, we’ll have to try that again! Nothing like taking apart the entire dashboard all for nothing! Happy thoughts! LOL!
The card that I have for you today is for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…
I went super clean! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My panel is a piece of Basic Black with two pieces of paper from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack. I adhered it to the card with Fun Foam and SNAIL. The greeting is from the A Whole Lot of Lovely Stamp Set. I heat embossed it in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Calypso Coral and cut it out with the Deco Labels Collections Framelits. It’s adhered to the card with Foam Tape and two Basic Jewels Rhinestones are adhered to the centers of the flowers for some sparkle! Nice and simple but I really love it, that DSP is definitely one of my favorites, love the colors! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge! Thanks for coming by today! Enjoy your Friday my friends! 🙂

Hi Justin,
Simple but oh so pretty! Really love the Pretty Petals paper.
Enjoy your day!
Hey Gerri!
Thank you! 🙂
Good Morning Justin!
I love CAS cards, especially when I am doing multiples of a card. I never make less than 4 of the same card. I have three containers with friends names on them. I put one card in each of these containers and then at Christmas I add a pack of stamps along with envelopes and give them to my friends as Christmas gifts. I think they would beat me with a broom if I gave them anything else! LOL They ooooo and ahhhhh over them. Today’s card sketch will work perfectly for a quick design and your card will make a great sample for me. Thanks so much.
The hubs surprised me this morning by returning from his trip. So nice to have him back. I like not having to put meals on the table twice a day but other than that I like it a lot better when he is here.
Sorry you have to work today but I’m sure you will have enough fun this weekend to make up for it. I didn’t know you were headed to England in September. That will be an amazing trip for sure. Hopefully you will find a stamp store there and perhaps get to meet some of your followers. That would be a blast. You have yourself a Fabulous Friday my friend. Love & hugs XO 🙂
Hi Grace!
I’m playing catch up, took the weekend off! I wish that I was half as organized as you are!! Maybe one day! Thanks, glad that you like the card!
Aww, I’ll bet it’s good to have him back! Meals is a small price to pay for someone that you love!
I had an amazing weekend! Yes, I’m off to London on September 1st! I haven’t been since 2007 so it will be great to see all of my family again! I am planning to meet up with some peeps, I’m sure that it will be loads of fun! Love to you! XOXO 🙂
CAS but very cute! I am off today!!!!!! Yes I’m excited. Hubby was off too, we did a quick breakfast and my fav breakfast place. He is working on my sons car, yuck, all day job. i cleaned two rooms and now its playtime. I really want to finish some of these kits I have. Finished the Simon Says April birthday kits with 7 cards made, last one just finished. Feeling pretty good.
Thank you Linda! I hope that you enjoyed your Friday off! My dad is the lucky one that gets to work on all the cars! I will eventually sit down and play with all of the Simon Kits! I tend to collect a lot! LOL! Glad that you had time to play! 🙂
