Sometimes in my mad dash to leave the house and make sure that everyone has their stuff I forget mine! My backpack with my computer is at home and I’m in Manhattan for the weekend. Huge bummer! I’m trying to work out a way to get it here, fingers crossed! So for today I have some pictures that I took yesterday. Michael, Maggie and I went to Port Jefferson, a nice little town in the north shore of Long Island. You can take the ferry over to Bridgeport CT from there. It was a beautiful day and we just wandered around and enjoyed all of the scenery and cute little shops. I hope that you enjoy the pictures and I’ll be back tomorrow, no matter what, with a new card for you!! Enjoy you Saturday!!

My “old” stomping grounds – my husband and I used to go there on dates over 50 years ago…I do get back to LI every few years…living in AZ what I miss most about LI

Hey Justin, thanks for sharing your photos, I love seeing the places you go, and your friends too! It looks gorgeous there, and so warm! Connecticut is one of my favourite places in the world, we stayed in Mystic (because I had to try the pizza!!) Thanks for sharing the pix, Justin! I jumped ahead to see if you went to Convention this year. What a pleasant surprise to see you, Michael, and Maggie enjoying the sights of Port Jefferson. It looks like a lovely town, and what a treat to enjoy the variety that living in the NYC area has to offer! I’m guessing that Maggie gets to enjoy some of the sights in Manhattan, too.
