Hello my friends and welcome to Friday! My other visit to the off-site location for work yesterday was a good one. I got a lot accomplished the rest of the day too. After dinner I came home and Skyped with Andrea for a bit and worked on some projects. Taylor stopped by and we watched some of Enemy of the State, still a good movie after all of theses years. The rest of the evening was pretty quiet. Tonight Michael is going to make dinner, I’m looking forward to that! The weekend, who knows! I do have to share a picture of little Daniel from the wedding that he went to in the Dominican Republic. He really needs to be in Gap ads!
Love his little outfit, especially the sleeves rolled up!
Another good thing about this Friday, it’s time for another Fab Friday challenge…
It’s too early for such fall colors! LOL! My card base for today is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I flagged two pieces of paper, one from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack and another from the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack. The larger flag is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and SNAIL. A piece of Blackberry Bliss is also flagged and adhered to the large flag with Foam Tape. The greeting and stamped image are from the Awesomely Artistic Stamp Set, the image is stamped in Delightful Dijon and the greeting in Tangelo Twist and Blackberry Bliss. I used the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits to cut out the greeting and they are both adhered to the card with Foam Tape. A piece of Hemptique Harvest Hemp Cord is tied in a bow around the Blackberry Bliss piece and a few My Minds Eye Wicked Enamel Dots are adhered under the greeting. A fun simple card just because! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Fab Friday Color challenge! Stop by the blog and check out the rest of the Design Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Hi Justin . . . you are so right about Daniel being in a GAP ad. Love that look. So handsome!!
I like this card very much. Layers are a great size, shape and colors! Love how it all looks together. Happy Friday.
🙂
Hello Nancy!
Thanks! I definitely think that he is cute enough for some sort of print advertising! Glad that you enjoyed the card! Happy Friday to you! 🙂
Hi Justin!
Daniel could be a model. OMG what a cutie!!
Great job with the color challenge. Love the way you make all the elements come together.
Enjoy Michael’s dinner tonight.
Daniel is so adorable! He will soon be quite a heartbreaker! I’m glad your off site visits went well. Maybe you can work remotely on a daily basis…
Yes, it’s too early for autumn, but I’m so appreciative of the cooler temps lately. I like your three flags, and I think SU hit two grand slams with those two paper stack pads — the best designs yet. The enamel dots are perfect in color and size.
Can’t wait to hear what culinary delights Michael prepares for you! Yum! Enjoy! Nancy B
Thank you Nancy! Yes, I love my little Daniel! I wish that I could work from home!! But, I don’t think that I would get much done!
It’s way too early to think about fall!! But the colors are good and I agree with you about that DSP!
Never got dinner but did get to watch the movie! Next time! 🙂
Great card. Love the combination of DSP’s, and also the twine and enamel dots. I think enamel dots add a great accent to cards – love them. What can I say about Daniel – he is growing so fast and becoming more handsome by the day!
Thank you Carol! I love the enamel dots too and I have so many of them! LOL! Daniel is growing up very fast and I think he should be in a Gap ad! 🙂
Love, love, love the color combo for today’s card. It just screams fall and cooler temperatures and leaves turning color and apple pie and homemade soups. Yeah! My favorite season. So, I describe your card today and warm and inviting and perfect for fall. I know Justin, you don’t want to see the summer end but at least you will be celebrating the start of fall with a fabulous trip and will take tons of photos to share with us, your illustrious followers! LOL
Daniel is growing up way too fast. He is starting to look more like a little boy than a beautiful toddler. I have to agree with everyone else in that he should be modeling for J. Crew or any other clothing designer. He is a natural in front of the camera.
Can’t believe Michael’s time in the states is over. What a fast two months that has been. I’m sure he is going back to Brasil with a ton of new stamping supplies. We are all still waiting to see his baby book. It sounded like it was going to be amazing.
Have yourself a Fantastic Friday! Luv and hugs XO 🙂
Thanks so much Grace! I knew that you would like the colors! I think it’s too early for them but I am trying to hold on to Summer! Yes, I will be taking tons of pictures! Can’t wait to share my adventures with you!
Daniel is growing up way too fast but he is just too cute! He does love the camera and I keep telling his mum the same thing!
I can’t believe that Michael leaves this weekend. I really have had the best summer. He does have lots of new goodies to take back with him ad now we start waiting for him to come back. I’ll see if he has pics of the baby book!
My Friday was pretty good, hope yours was too! XOXOXO 🙂
OMG! Daniel is AORABLE!!! Great card, I was wondering what that combo of colors would result in.
Awesome day, spent about 3 hours at scrapbook expo, really crowded but i just walked around and went back to booths once the crowds thinned out. I promised my self i’d be good and not buy one thing. and i did not buy one thing, I unfortunately broke the piggy bank, but so many fun stamps and embellishments, dies etc. Gotta hide everything before hubby gets home, LOL
Thanks Linda! Love my little Daniel and I’m glad that you like the card!
That does sound like a great day! LOL! That’s great! But at least you stuck to your not buying one thing! LOL! Thankful I live alone so I don’t need to hide my goodies! 🙂
Adorable pic of little Daniel, Justin! Layered banners look great!
