And some of the snow melted! Not a lot but some of it and that’s a good thing! I had another pretty laid back day. I FaceTimed with Andrea in the morning for a bit and then watched some TV. Just before I headed over to my parent’s to see Daniel and to have dinner I got the urge to watercolor. I sat down and did a freehand watercolor card front. I don’t know if you will get to see it, it’s not that great! LOL! After dinner I took a ride over to A. C. Moore and then Heather called and said that she had made some Pad Thai and asked if I wanted to taste it, of course! I went over to her house and the food was excellent! We had a glass of wine and she has to go for another one of the epidural shots so Brian is taking her and I said that I would tag along too. That’s where I will be this morning!
My post for today is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…
Ahh… love! I have been really into Valentine’s this year too! My card base for today is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card Lawn Cuts to cut out two pieces of paper from the Teresa Collins Something Wonderful 6×6 Paper Pad. The top one has a heart cut out of it using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hearts Stackables Lawn Cuts. I also cut one out of Real Red and used the same heart that I used on the patterned paper to cut out the middle of that one too. I haphazardly adhered the patterned paper to the card and then used some Foam Tape to adhere the heart over the cut out. Some more Real Red is cut out with the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love Lawn Cut and adhered to the panel with Multi-Matte Medium. Up in the top right corner I used a Mini Clothespin to attach a length of the Real Red Pom-Pom Trim. A few Pretty Pink Posh Marshmallow and Red Sequins complete the card! I love the cut outs in the paper and the heart and the Pom-Pom Trim is a fun little addition too! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Theme Challenge! Stop by the blog to check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks very much for stopping by today! Have a wickedly wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Love this card, Justin. The DSP, the PomPom trim, the cut-out heart…all add up to a really cute card. Have a great day. Good luck to Heather today with her shot. It’s so nice of you to tag along.
Good Morning Justin!
The day to celebrate love is drawing closer and your card only brings more attention to that. I am pretty much a traditionalist so I love Valentine’s cards using red, white and pink. I must admit I never thought of putting the little pom poms on cards but that is probably because I have to mail all of my cards except the one for the hubs. I do love the way they look though. Great card for today and I did check the PCC blog and saw the beautiful cards everyone has made.
Sorry Heather has to go for an epidural shot. That isn’t any fun but I’m so glad that you and Brian will be going with her. Having friends with you during any procedure always helps to make things a bit better. What is Pad Thai? I have never heard of that. You have yourself a Wednesday that is as wonderful as you are. Luv ya, XO 🙂
Hi there Grace!
Yes, Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and I too like the Red, white and pink too! I think the Pom-Pom Trim adds a little extra and yes, it would be difficult to mail but fun all the same!
Heather has had back issues for a while and is trying to avoid surgery so she will deal with these for now. Pad Thai is a type is Asian food, it’s a little spicy and usually contains peanuts! It was yummy! Hope you enjoyed your Wednesday! Love you! XOXO 🙂
Another beauty, I love Valentine cards. Glad you can see less snow, we hit 34 today, heat wave and a slow melt. looking at a Tuesday snorm, I pray it goes north and east, sorry
Thank you Linda! Yes, I too love Valentine cards, nice to celebrate love! We are supposed to get up into the high 40’s over the weekend! Yay! The snow that you are talking about is supposed to miss us! Good luck! 🙂
