Happy Friday! I got some of my organizing done yesterday and then got sucked into Ellen videos on YouTube! I finally pulled myself away to go and have some dinner with Daniel and my parents. After that it was more Ellen on YouTube and then off to Heather’s for thirsty Thursday. Kim and Brian FaceTimed me from St. Lucia. Boy does it look really nice there! That has to go on my to visit list for sure! We watched Lip Sync Battle, always funny! It’s snowing here again this morning but is supposed to clear up by later on this afternoon and we may even see some sun!
After our little break over the Holidays it’s time once again for Fab Friday! This time we have some colors just in time for Valentine’s Day…
I always forget about Watermelon Wonder! LOL! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Lawn Fawn 4 Bar Stitched Rectangles to cut out a piece of paper from the “Vintage” Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack and adhered it to the card with Fun Foam and SNAIL. I also used the 4 Barย Stitched Rectangles to cut out some Real Red and adhered that to the Designer Series Paper with Multi-Matte Medium. My three hearts are cut out with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Heart Stackables Lawn Cuts from Watermelon Wonder and Blushing Bride and adhered to the card with Foam Tape. For a little more “Vintage” I cut out more Watermelon Wonder and Blushing Bride with the Chevrons form the Circle Card Thinlits and adhered them to the card with more Foam Tape. The greeting is a piece of Black 110lb cut out with the Lawn Fawn I Love You Border Lawn Cut and adhered across the hearts with Multi-Matte Medium. Finally I added some Pretty Pink Posh Onyx, Raspberry and Marshmallow Sequins. I love the clean collage look of the card and that I Love You is really cool! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Color Challenge! Head on over to the blog and see what the rest of the Team has come up with and enter your card in the gallery! Thank you so much for coming by to see me today! Have an absolutely Fabulous Friday! ๐

How beautiful is this? Very! It all came together perfectly, especially with the chevron effect. I have to go make several Valentine cards this weekend along with a birthday card for my husband, who left for Tampa this morning, that dog! He will be home in time to watch the Super Bowl game. Ah, business travel…we retired folk have to stay home with the doggy and work on cards. Have yourself a great weekend! Hugs, Nancy B
Thank you Nancy! I do love a Valentine! Your husband is lucky that he gets to go someplace warm! I hope that you are having fun with the doggie and that you got in some crafty time! Hugs to you! XO ๐
Gorgeous card today Justin.! I love the color combo and all the little details, especially the “arrows”. I use Watermelon Wonder a lot with Blackberry Bliss. I just love those colors. Your I Love You die is really neat, I don’t think I have seen that one before. This is a super special Valentine’s Day card.
Snowing like crazy here. We had several couples scheduled to come for dinner tonight but I’m canceling it because I don’t want anyone out driving in this wet, slippery stuff. The 1-3″ they predicted was surpassed by 9 a.m. and there is no sign of it letting up. Meanwhile, it is just beautiful out there and looks the way winter should look. You have yourself a Fantastic Friday. Stay dry, stay safe. Love & Hugs, XXOO ๐
Thanks so much Grace! I always forget about Watermelon Wonder, it does look really good with Blackberry Bliss, love that color too! I like the Lawn Fawn I Love You Border die, so nice and delicate!
It snowed like mad here yesterday too! It a shame when it ruins your dinner pans but definitely better to be safe than sorry! Glad that you enjoyed your view of the snow! LOL! ope that you had a nice day! Love and hugs to you! XOXO ๐
