Still cold just in case you were wondering! It was way too cold to get out of bed so I slept in. I spent most of the day in the house except for a little trip to Burger King for lunch and then Stop and Shop with my friend Maureen. I got to speak to Michael for a while and when I came home Taylor and Keira were here. They were binge watching I Zombie on Netflix. After dinner I worked on some projects and then watched a few movies. I did get a nice text from my sister-in-law with a video from Daniel. I just had to share it with you! Just click the link below to load the video!
Isn’t he just the cutest! That’s my brother that you hear in the background. Oh, and Winston is back to his normal self and feeling much better! Now if I could just get him to stop sampling things in the yard!
Starting off the week right with a new Mojo Monday sketch…
I promise that I will get away from reds and pinks! LOL! The card base for today is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Simon Says Stamp Bundle of Stitched ShapesΒ to cut out a piece of Blushing Bride for the background and adhered that to the base with Fun Foam and SNAIL. The two strips of paper are from the Pebbles Your Truly 6×6 Paper Pad and are adhered to the background with SNAIL. For the main panel I cut out a piece of Real Red with the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Squares Dies and heat embossed the greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Sending and Wishing Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. The panel is then adhered to the card with more Fun Foam and SNAIL. My flowers and leaves are from the Simon Says Stamp Flowers on My Mind Photopolymer Stamp Set and they are stamped in Simon Says Stamp Teeny Bikini, Duckling and Teal Ink on Solar White 80lb and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I adhered them to the red square with SNAIL and Foam Tape. I really love the finished edge that the Stitched Dies give to the panels and the flowers are nice and neat too! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team Card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Don’t forget to stop by the BLOG and see what the rest of the Team has come up with to inspire you and add your take on the sketch to the gallery! Thank you for coming by today to spend some time with me! Have a marvelous Monday! π

Hi Justin, Yes, Yes, Yes, Daniel is just so cute!! Thanks for sharing.
π
Yay! Thank you Nancy! He is a cutie! π
Spring is here (albeit on your blog)! Fantastic colors and great combo of patterned papers, Justin! Glad to hear Winston is feeling better. I wish I could get Lexi to stop sampling things in the yard too – she sneakily waits for me to stop paying attention to her before she quickly snaps up “something” that she’s been eyeing for awhile. What a pip!
LOL! Yes, I needed some spring! I don’t think that Winston will ever stop sampling things, I don’t get it! π
Great take on the sketch. Love the colors and the two DSPs. Daniel is so adorable. Have a great day!
Thank you HJ! I thought that Daniel was just too cute not to share that! Hope that you had a good day! π
Hurray for Winston! Glad he’s back to himself. Daniel is soooooo cute! Very pretty & cheerful card today. I like the combination of papers and colors. Lots of snow here. Take care! Nancy B
Yes, I’m glad that he’s better! Daniel is a funny guy! Glad that you like the card! I’m over the snow! You take care too! π
I love these colors, and this bright, tropical card is just what we need as I see some snow flurries in the air. So glad Winston is feeling better!
Thanks Leah! Yes, I need anything that does’t have to do with snow! I’m glad that Winston is better too! π
Hi Justin:
No need to apologize for using pinks and reds, they are beautiful colors as exemplified in your card today. AND no, we don’t get sick of those colors. This birthday card would bring a smile to any face, especially during these cold, cold days of winter. Beautiful card.
Daniel is just the cutest little guy and don’t you love it when you get one of those short videos? I get them with my great niece and nephew every once in a while and I have them all saved in folders on my computer. When I need a smile I look at them and they make me happy. Their innocence is to be envied.
So glad Winston is back to normal. Vet bills can be outrageous. Not only that but it’s hard to watch those cute little guys when they are sick and not their playful self. You have yourself a Motivated Monday and use this cold weather as an excuse to get some serious crafting done. Love and hugs (that would be warm hugs) XXOO π
Hello Grace!
Well that’s good to know! Sometimes I get stuck on a color kick! LOL! Thank you!
I do love when I get the little videos of him! It definitely made me smile! Glad that it made you smile too!
Winston just needs to stop eating things in the yard and I’m sure that he will be ok! LOL! I hope that you had a good Monday, mine was pretty good! Much warmer here today, but raining, oh well, I’ll take that over snow! Love snd hugs to you! XOXO π
Hi Justin,
