Another busy Thursday spent in front of the computer doing loads of research! Not that I mind it, it’s one of my favorite things to do besides crafting of course! I did get a lot accomplished and have a lot more to do but I’ll get everything in order eventually! My friend Heather went for a second opinion about her back issues and she may not have to have surgery after all! That was some good news! Daniel was at my parent’s yesterday but the poor little guy has a cold so he wasn’t in the mood for any pictures! I did have dinner with the family and then came home and tried to get some more stuff done. I know that I’m being a little cryptic about what’s going on but I’ll be able to share with you soon! Taylor and Kiera stopped by late last night. I haven’t seen Taylor all week, I said that it was nice to know that she remembered who I was! LOL! Today I have a lot of stuff to get accomplished and I hope that I can finish everything! Wish me luck!
Now for the Fab Friday Challenge! This week we have a nice sketch for you…
I had the urge to play with some watercolors again and a new Thank You stamp that I recently acquired! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I covered the front in one of my all time favorite blues, Midnight Muse. Across the top half of the card are a piece of Gold Mirror Card Stock and 80lb Solar White with both ends flagged. The greeting is the Hero Arts Thank You with Flourishes Wood Mount Stamp, it’s heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder and onto some Tim Holtz Watercolor Card. I taped it to a board with Blue Painter’s Tape and used my Gansai Tambi Watercolors to create a wash over the image. It’s dried with my Heat Tool and then trimmed before being adhered it to a piece of White Gold Curious Metallic. Some Fun Foam is adhered to the back of the panel. I adhered a Tea Lace Paper Doily towards the bottom and then adhered my panel to the card. What’s a card without some Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins and a few Basic Jewels Rhinestones added in for some extra sparkle?! I do really like that nice large Thank You, I can see it making a very nice set of cards for someone! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge! Head on over to the blog and take a look at the rest of the Team’s cards and enter your one in the gallery so we can see what you do! Thanks for taking some time out of your day to visit with me! Have a fabulous Friday! 🙂

Thank you very much Cindy! 🙂
HI Justin:
The sequins really brought out the gold foil paper. I would have thought it would be the other way around. Super, beautiful card today and I too agree what a wonderful gift a set of these thank you cards would be. Anyone would be grateful for receiving this card and it would be easy enough to transform into a Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, Wedding or even a Thinking of You card. I love a card design with versatility!
You really have my curiosity peeked Justin! You are being so mysterious. LOL I hope this is a fabulous Friday for you today. The sun is shining and it is warm enough to shed the winter coat here today. Best part about spring is getting rid of the bulky winter coat! Love and hugs to you my friend. XXOO 🙂
Hello Grace!
Thank you! Yes, sometimes the little details make the bigger ones shine! I am definitely going to use that stamp to make some sets of Thank You cards!
Yes, all will be revealed soon! I had a nice Friday! It was warm but not warm enough, hopefully today will be warmer! I am always glad to get rid of the jacket! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂
