H A P P Y Β F R I D A Y!! It’s a very happy one for me! I’m taking tomorrow off! YAY! We had fun at the first two Card Classes at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store! I love when we use a set like the Concord & 9th Brushed Blossom Set! It a nice loose flower that really can’t be stamped wrong! These types of stamps bring out a little more creativity in people, they tend to stamp a little more randomly and I love that! I had a nice late night ride home in the car with the top down. It was still 80 degrees when I left the store at 9:30. I came home and got my self situated and watched little TV before calling it a night. Today we have a morning card class and then I think I’m going to sneak out early! Wee!
It’s a Fab Friday week and I have fun card for you using the colors for this one…
I don’t actually have the new In-Colors but I do have my fabulous Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors so I came close! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the front covered in a piece of Shadow Curios Metallic. I then heat embossed the images from the Altenew Tulip Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Platinum Embossing Powder onto a piece of Arches 140lb Watercolor Paper. They are colored in with my Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors and I set them aside to dry while I heat embossed the sentiment from the same set in more Platinum onto a piece of 46lb Vellum. I adhered that Vellum strip to the back of the watercolor panel and then added a few teeny drops of Multi-Matte Medium behind the words before adhering the watercolor piece to the card with Tombo Extreme Adhesive. I felt that it didn’t need anything else so I held back from adding some sequins! I love the flowers with the soft blue background, those watercolors really are amazing! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Color Challenge! Take a peek at the rest of the Team’s cards by paying a visit to the BLOG and enter your card into the gallery! Thank you for spending a little Friday time with me! Have a fabulous Friday! π

Good Morning Justin:
I love CAS cards and this one fits the bill to a tee. I also really like the way you so often use vellum with your cards. I have a stack of vellum – some plain some with embossing on it – but, again, out of sight is out of mind. I really, really, really need a bigger craft room so I can put this stuff where I see it. Then maybe instead of “collecting” all of it I’ll actually use it. Gee. Anywhooooo – love the tulips and the way you water colored the. Great card.
Another picture perfect day here on the mid coast. AND, it’s supposed to be this way all week. Yeah! Tracy and a friend will be here to visit on Friday before they head to Acadia to do some climbing. Then we only expect two more sets of visitors until late fall. I love having visitors so it’s all good. You have yourself a Fabulously Fantastic Friday. Love & Hugs, XXOO π
Hi Grace!
Thank you! Yes, the card is very CAS! I love Vellum, it’s definitely my favorites paper to use, it’s so versatile! You just need a list in front of you to remind you of the stuff that you have squirreled away! LOL!
So happy that the weather is still good for you up there! I hope that you had a nice visit with Tracy! Yes, visitors are fun but it’s nice to just enjoy the day every once in a while! Love and hugs to you too! XOXO π
