Crop weekends are definitely my favorite weekends at the Store! Everyone is working on projects and laughing! I try to demonstrate something to make creating easier and more fun, sometimes it’s a big hit! LOL! And despite the gloomy, rainy day it was bright and sunny inside! After work I came home and a little Chinese with the Parent’s and then spent the rest of the evening watching the Grammy’s. With the exception of a few performances it was ok. Adele was amazing! Her version of Fastlove was incredible. And good for her starting over because something went wrong! She said she would and did! Today, another day of creativity at the Store, nice way to start the week! π
Since it’s Monday we get to be creative with a new Mojo Monday sketch…
My card starts off with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock covered with a piece of Chinese Red. I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Stackables Lawn Cuts to cut out a piece of Patterned Paper and then stamped the airmail edge from the Altenew Happy Mail Photopolymer Stamp Set In Crimson and Sapphire Crisp Ink. I added a piece of 48lb Vellum that I cut out with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Squares Stackables Lawn Cuts to the rectangle and then adhered it to the card base with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner Ultra Strong. A strip of Deep Blue is adhered down the left side. My images and greeting are also from the Happy Mail Set. I stamped the stamps and postmark in Memento Tuxedo Black and used my Copics to color them in. The hearts in the center of the postmark are stamped in Crimson and then that is cut out with the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies. I trimmed out the stamps with my Scissors and adhered them all to the card with 3D Foam Squares . For the greeting I stamped part in Sapphire and the love in Crimson and adhered it with more 3D Foam Squares. I do love the mail theme to the stamp set and the versatility too! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG and see the rest of the cards that the Design Team has created to inspire you! We hope to see your card in the gallery! Thank you so very much for starting your week off once again here with me! Have a stellar Monday! π

A vibrant card! The mail theme is so appropriate for Valentine’s across the miles. I hope you have the sunny day we have here! Hugs, Nancy B
Thank you Nancy! I do love a postal theme! We did have a nice day! Hugs to you! π
I too love the mail theme. This card with all it’s images looks like it took forever to make but the results were worth it. You are one talented guy for sure.
HI Nancy – we are in near blizzard conditions right now so I’m trying to get through my emails in case we lose power. Enjoy your sunny day – there haven’t been many of those this winter.
Justin – those were great photos you sent yesterday. I never knew a subway station could look so clean and inviting. AND since looking at the 59th street bridge the Simon and Garfunkel song will NOT get out of my brain………feeling groovy? Not so much today. I was sick in January for two weeks, then the hubs caught it, then we were fine then last week the hubs got sick again and now he has shared it with me. At least it’s a good excuse to watch Mother Nature’s beautiful weather. You have yourself a Magnificent Monday Justin. Thanks for sharing your talents every day. Love & Hugs to you, XXOO π
Thank you Grace! It didn’t take too long, the coloring was the longest part.
I’m glad that you enjoyed the pictures! When the Stations are new they are really nice! LOL! I’m sorry that you are sick again, that stinks! I hope that you get better soon! I thank you for sharing in my day my friend! Love and hugs to you! XOXO π

Thank you very much Julee!! Have a lovely week! π
I too love the mail theme and postal border. Reminds me of days when I was a child and had pen pals in Japan. Good times and lots of amazing paper art.
