A happy Friday to you from mushy, wet New York! It rained all day yesterday. I stayed indoors, cleaned a little, did some laundry and watched a lot of TV! Taylor came by in the evening and we ran to Target quick. It’s supposed to continue raining today so I will have to find some more indoor activities to keep myself busy! 😀
It’s one of those week’s where we have a new Fab Friday challenge for you…
I had some fun with the Dotty Turnabout Stamp again! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the background I used my MISTI and the Concord & 9th Dotty Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp. I stamped it three times, once in Grape Soda, once in Narwhal and then for the final one I heat embossed it in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder. Across the middle is a strip of 48lb Vellum and a some Gold Mirror Card with the ends flagged. My globe and greeting are from the Concord & 9th Globe Greetings Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the globe in Grape Soda and the greeting in Narwhal. To cut it out I used the Coordinating Die to cut out the globe and then I cut out another piece of Gold Mirror Card with the Hero Arts Infinity Circles Dies. The globe is adhered to the Gold circle and then to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I just can’t get enough of that Dotty Turnabout Stamp, in fact I’ll be back in a little while with my Guest Designer Post for Concord & 9th with some more ways to use it! Good morning, Justin. I love the colors and the world stamped in the middle. The gold embossing brings a pop and the font of the sentiment is perfect. I’m a list maker, which helps keep me on track because I can get distracted so easily. A list is the only way I get the “right” things done!! LOL! We have sun today…at least for now. I took today off of work. I really need a mental health day…..not from work but I cant get anything accomplished. Hubby ledft for San Diego to see his brother and go to a Cubs game. It was his birthday gift. sio i’m like, “Time ALONE”
