Happy Friday my peeps! I had a lazy day yesterday, I managed to get a few things done but today I need to get a lot done! The wedding last night was nice! The ceremony was right next to the water. I love when couples write their own vows, makes is so much more personal. It was nice to be with my Parents, brother, Erika, Taylor, her friend and Jim! It looks to be another nice day here today, I need to clean and seal my convertible top, maybe that will be today’s project! 😀
I haven’t used a tag on a card in a while so today I have a simple card with just that! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. All of the images and greetings are from the Simon Says Stamp I See You Photopolymer Stamp Set. I used my Mini MISTI to stamp the chevrons in Audrey Blue down the left side of the card. My tag is cut from a piece of Solar White 80lb using the Simon Says Stamp Large Tag Die. The glasses are stamped in Slate and and the ampersand in Audrey Blue, they are both cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I stamped the greetings in Slate onto the tag and tied a piece of American Crafts Grey Natural Twine through the top. It’s adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. The glasses and ampersand are adhered to the tag with 3M Foam Tape and a few Pretty Pink Posh Sea Breeze Sequins finish it off! I love that stamp set with all of it’s eclectic images and fun greetings! I hope that you like today’s card! Thank you for checking in! Have an amazing Friday! 🙂

Hi Justin:
I really love this stamp set. Between the glasses and that amazingly beautiful heart it’s a set I’d love to have. Is it retired? The simplicity of your card and the perfectly placed twine from the tag to the card base is fabulous. All in all this one is a winner for sure.
Gee, have a better project for you to spend some time on then cleaning and sealing your convertible top. Gosh oh golly, what could that possibly be? Question – I have had a number of convertibles over the years – a ’62 Vette, a ’65 Mustang, a ’64 Chevelle SS, etc. and never once had anyone tell me the top needed to be sealed. Was that something the dealership recommended? Just curious. You have yourself a Fabulous Friday my friend. Love & Hugs to you! XXOO 🙂
Hello Grace!
Thank you! I love that set too! I don’t know if they have it anymore! I’m glad that I got it when I did!
I still haven’t done the top! I need to get myself mentally prepared! LOL! The roof leaks a bit and you should always clean and seal the top at least once a year. It keeps it waterproof. Love and hugs to you my friend! XOXO 🙂
Justin,
Great card! Love it!
Hey Gerri!
Thank you! 🙂
