SIP Challenge 185 – CAS Valentine!

Hello! I’m late today! LOL! We had some issues getting things together over on the challenge blog so I waited until that post was up to post mine. I had a lovely day with the kiddos. Tristan was in a really good mood which is always nice! Tomorrow I’ll be in the city at The Ink Pad for a while in the afternoon. I’m looking forward to it! If you’re nearby come in and say hi! πŸ˜€

Better late than never! Here is this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I used the Concord & 9th Little Love Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies to create my card. The background is stamped with the stacked hearts three times using my MISTI and some Ballet Slippers Ink. I stamped the greeting on top of them with Black Licorice Ink. My little xo heart is stamped in Wild Rose Ink and cut out with the die. I added it to the card with 3M Foam Tape. For a little bling I scattered some hearts from a Little Things by Lucy Mix and a little Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen on the xo heart. Nice and quick and simple! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper CAS Valentine Challenge! Stop by the BLOG for more inspiration and share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me and have a nice evening! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 184 – Something for Baby!

And it’s Tuesday again! I had a quiet week. Watched the kiddos, worked on some projects and purged a lot more stuff from my house. Apparently I was a border line hoarder! LOL! But Jim is very good at getting rid of stuff! My house looks so much bigger and it’s a lot easier to clean! We are almost finished with the purging and soon it will time for painting and other newness! I can’t wait! πŸ˜€

Now on this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge…

I have been working on baby shower invites for a friend and this was one of the prototypes! I stamped the wreath from the Concord & 9th Wreath Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp Set in Storm Cloud Ink using my Mini MISTI. The bear is from the Concord & 9th Furry Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the outline in Black Licorice and the fill-in in Sunflower. The Sweet Baby is from the Concord & 9th Darling Petals Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp Set and is also stamped in Black Licorice. The panel is adhered to a piece of Black 110lb and then to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I love the nice simple colors on the kraft! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! SIP Challenge 183 – All My Love!

Hello my friends! It was incredibly cold here yesterday! Like in the minuses with the 40 MPH winds that we had. Thankfully we didn’t get any of the snow on Saturday but boy that cold was nasty. I had to put the spare tire back in the car where it belongs, only took a month to do that, and picked the coldest day so far to do so, and I thought my ears fell off! LOL! It’s to be a little better today but not nice and in the 40’s like we have been having. I’m done with Winter, anyone else?! πŸ˜€

Tuesday and time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

To start my card I stamped the Concord & 9th Triangle Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp using my MISIT in Minty Fresh Ink once onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My tag is cut from Desert Storm 80lb using the Concord & 9th Little Love Tags Dies. The greeting is from the Concord & 9th Little Love Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Amalgam Ink. I cut the the luggage tag part from Grey 110lb and slipped it thought the hole in the top of the tag. The heart is from the same set and is cut from Real Red Glitter Card. The elements behind the heart are from the Concord & 9th Everyday Bouquet Die Set that is exclusively included in the Concord & 9th Everyday Bouquet Turnabout Toolkit. I cut them from Merman, Gold Mirror Card and Galvanized Curious Metallic. They are added to the back of the heart and the heart is attached to the tag with 3M Foam Tape. I added the tag to the card base with more 3M Foam Tape. A few Faceted Acrylic Jewels finish off the card. I love the heart with the elements peeking out and the fun subtle triangle background! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this weeks Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Head on over to the BLOG for more inspiration from the rest of the Team. Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a nice rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 182 – Tic-Tac-Toe!

Hi there! It’s been getting progressively colder here and we are supposed to get some snow over the weekend. Not feeling that at all. You know how I love Winter! I’m already counting down the days until Spring! LOL! πŸ˜€

It’s time for what has become my lone weekly post! A new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

We haven’t had a Tic-Tac-Toe in a while! I went across the top row. To start, I heat embossed the heart from the Concord & 9th Sending Love Photopolymer Stamp Set in Simon Says Stamp Antique Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Calypso Coral and then used my Scissors to cut it out. Onto a piece of Solar White 80lb I heat embossed the arrow. The hearts with the xo and the small heart cluster are from the Concord & 9th Little Love Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped randomly in Hero Arts Fresh Peach. The panel is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I added the large heart to the card with 3M Foam Tape. It needed a little bling so I added some Peach Sequins and a few Basic Jewels Rhinestones. I do love a stamped background and that gold embossed heart pops nicely on the Coral! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards including our newest member, Lisa Mackey! Thank you for spending a little of you day with me! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 181 – Colors!

Hello and and a Happy Tuesday to you all! It’s a little rainy here but not too cold so I’ll take that! How are the first couple of day of 2019 treating you?! My year has been pretty good so far, let’s hope that it just keeps getting better for all of us!

It’s time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog…

Nice and easy! I was pressed for time so I went with super simple for my card! I stamped the bird and branch image along with my greeting from the Concord & 9th Songbird Photopolymer Stamp Set in Amalgam Ink onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. To color in the bird I used my Prismacolor Pencils. Just some simple coloring using the blender pencil to smooth out the lines. All that was left to do was to adhere the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock! A nice simple card just to let someone know you are thinking of them! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and share yours with us in the gallery! SIP Challenge 180 – Thank You!

Happy New Year!! I had a busy month in December and didn’t have any time to craft which was not a good thing! I did manage to get a little crafty time in yesterday with Andrea on FaceTime, we haven’t done that in a while! One of the big things that happened to me was on Christmas Day. I was on my way to see a friend and hit a pothole on the Southern State Parkway. It broke the spring and some other important parts in the front of the car which in turn sliced the tire off of the rim. $1,700 later the car was fixed. That’s a lot of damage from a pothole! Merry Christmas to me, not! Other than that I had a good month and I have missed you guys! I plan to attempt to get back to being a little more crafty in the new year!

To start off the year we have a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper Blog. We took a little time off and to start we are making thank you cards!

I used a whole bunch of dies and no stamps to make my card! The greenery uses dies from the Concord & 9th Season Of Cheer, Just Because and Beautiful Branches Sets and they are cut from Early Espresso, Soft Sky, Garden Green, Pear Pizzaz and Old Olive. My rectangle is cut from a piece of Desert Storm 80lb with the die from the Concord & 9th Just Because Dies. I cut the season from Silver Glitter Card and the of thanks from a piece of Dark Grey 110lb, both of those dies are from the Concord & 9th Season of Cheer Set. The greenery is added to a panel of Light Grey 110lb with Glue Tube. I adhered the season and of thanks to the rectangle and then added it to the panel with 3M Foam Tape. The panel is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I love all of the greenery behind the sentiment and the way it stands out against the grey background! I hope that you like my Design Team Card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see what the rest of the Team has come up with and share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope that your year is off to a great start! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 179 – Holidays!

Hey there… remember me?! LOL! I have been away for a bit but I have a few things to post this week so hopefully you’ll join me! Got a little inspiration last night, finally! I have been keeping busy helping my friend Kelly redo her bathroom and spending time with the kiddos! Over the weekend I went into Manhattan with Jim, Kim, Brian, Izzy, Kevin, Krissy and Brooke to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. It was great and we had so much fun! This weekend I have a Holiday party to go to, that should be a good time! My tree is up but I haven’t done any shopping! Gotta get on that! How are your Holiday plans going?! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday so time for a new challenge over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge

I used a new stamp set and an older one from Concord & 9th to make a fun simple card! I started by stamping the face and greeting from the Concord & 9th Winter Wear Photopolymer Stamp Set onto a piece of Solar White 80lb in Amalgam Ink using my Mini MISTI so I could stamp it twice. On a separate piece I stamped the scarf. The images are colored in with Copics, mine are in desperate need of refills and new nibs as you can see from the shading! The scarf is cut out with the coordinating Concord & 9th Winter Wear Dies. My snowflakes are from the Concord & 9th Snow Flurry Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Merman Ink. I adhered the stamped panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and added the scarf with Thin 3D Foam Squares. For a little sparkle I added Hero Arts Clear Gems to some of the snowflake centers and used Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Brush Pen over the scarf! A fun card that would be easy to mass produce! Stamp some and take markers or pencils with you and color on the go! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Holidays Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG and we hope that you will share your card with us in the gallery! Thank you so much for spending some time with me today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 175 – Gratitude!

Hello my friends! It was a dreary Monday and that has continued into a dreary Tuesday. A good day to stay in and get some stuff done around the house. The kiddos are off from school and wanted to spend the day at my parents so I’ll have them tomorrow. I did go over and have breakfast with them this morning. Now to get some stuff done here! πŸ˜€

Tuesday and that means that it’s time for another Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I felt like doing some heat embossing so I did just that… and a lot! My background is created using the Concord & 9th Deck the Halls Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp. I put it into my MISTI and used Versa-Mark to stamp it each time onto a piece of Grey 110lb Card Stock. It’s coated with Hero Arts Gold, Platinum, Copper and Brass Embossing Powder and heat set then trimmed to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. My card is a piece of lighter Grey 110lb Card Stock and I adhered the background to the front. For my greeting I used the Concord & 9th Grateful Leaves Dies to cut out the grateful from three pieces of Grey 110lb. They are adhered to each other with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. Before adding it to the card I used my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to add some sparkle. A pretty simple card with a big impact thanks to all of that metallic embossing powder! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Gratitude Challenge! Check out the rest of Team’s cards over on the BLOG and share your take with us in the gallery! Thanks so much for visiting today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! πŸ™‚

SIP Challenge 174 – Trick or Treat!

Hello friends! How was your Monday?! Mine was pretty good. The kiddos behaved themselves, you can’t ask for more than that! When I got home I finally used my InstaPot that I got to make some rice pudding. It was quick and easy and turned out great! I’ll have to find some more things to make in it. There are hundreds of recipes on Pinterest so that should be too hard! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…

I’m not much of a Halloween fan so I went with Fall for my card. To create my background I used a piece of Bristol Smooth Card Stock with my Mini Ink Blending Tools to add Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Barn Door Distress Oxide Ink. It’s splattered with a little water. I stamped the Thankful from the Concord & 9th Thankful Leaves Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versa-Fine Onyx Black and then adhered the panel to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My leaf is cut from a piece of Copper Glitter Paper from the Concord & 9th Summer Glitter Paper Pack using the Concord & 9th Thankful Leaf Die. I adhered it to the card with Glue Tube. For a little added sparkle I dug through my stash and found some Neat & Tangled Festive Fall Sequins. Love the Distress Oxides on the Bristol Smooth! A fun simple fall card! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Trick or Treat Challenge! Fab Friday 149

Hello friends and a very happy Friday to you! I had a nice day yesterday tile shopping with my friend Kelly. We picked out the shower, wall, floor and shower pan tile for her new bathroom and stopped at Chick-fil-a for lunch. After that I cleaned a little and watched some movies for the rest of the night. I’m off to see the kiddos and my windshield is being replaced today. Tristan and I will hit up McDonald’s for lunch later… if she’s good! LOL! πŸ˜€

On another fun note it’s time for a new challenge over on the Fab Friday blog…

I was inspired by this card that Debby Hughes had done the other day. I loved the colors that she used and I just felt like stamping a background myself! I used the Hero Arts Color Layering Grateful Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set andΒ Soft Pool, Wet Cement, Pumpkin Pie Dye and Mulled Wine Hybrid Ink along with my Mini MISTI so I could stamp the images more than once to make them nice and crisp. The veining in the leaves is all stamped in Cup O Joe and then the background is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is cut from Gold Glitter Card with the Hero Arts Thank You Pair Fancy Dies. I added it to a circle cut from 65lb Vellum using the Hero Arts Circle Infinity Nested Frame Cuts Dies with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. The circle is then adhered to the card with thin slivers of 3M Foam Tape. A little bling was needed in the form of Little Things by LucyΒ Shimmering Pool Jewels and The Colors of Fall Sequin Mix! Love the colors of the leaves! I hope that you like my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG for more inspiration and share your card with us in the gallery! Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your Friday! πŸ™‚
