The day started out a little on the cooler side but was around 55 degrees later on in the evening! We had a fun day at the Store. Angie and Renee had their book class and I got to meet a few new customers! After work I stopped home and dropped off my stuff and headed over to my friend Jim’s. He made a delicious dinner and we had a nice quiet evening watching TV. A great way to end a Saturday! The make up tag class is on at the Store today, should be fun! 😀
I finally got my February My Monthly Hero Kit yesterday so I had to give it a little love! I started off by using the stencil and some Pool and Charcoal Ink with a Mini Ink Blending Tool to create my background on a piece of Slate Card Stock. The greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Vellum along with raindrops and adhered around the back of the panel. The panel is adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the little umbrella person in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it in with Copics. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die and adhered to the background. To make my shaker I die cut the window from a piece of Solar White 110lb Card Stock and some Acetate. The acetate is adhered to the back of the window and some 3M Foam Tape goes on next. A little sprinkle of Pretty Pink Posh 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins before adding the window and the card is done! I do love a shaker and the that stencil that comes in the kit is great! I hope that you like my card for today! Thanks for stopping by! Have a simple Sunday! 🙂
