Hey there and happy Monday?! Nah, Monday is rarely happy. How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good considering I worked on Saturday. I had a nice day yesterday, I got some crafting in, went to see some friends and spent some time outside in the beautiful weather. What were you all up to this weekend, hopefully some good fun happenings! I did get up a little early this morning so I decided to make my Mojo Monday card. If I made the card and wrote the blog post you know it was really early!

Today’s post – Mojo 292, a sketch from Julee Tilman…

As soon as I saw the sketch I though of the Epic Day This and That DSP! The base of my card is Pool Party and I used the soon to be retiring Color Spritzer Tool to spritz some Pool Party ink on it. The pieces of paper are from the Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper and on the one I used the “Vintage” Spiral Notebook Border Punch. The flags and the scallop across the middle are all Basic Gray. For the greeting I used the Label Love Stamp Set*, stamped in Gumball Green, and the Artisan Label Punch* with some Stampin’ Dimensionals for some pop. Paper Players #144 🙂 & Sneak Peek

Happy Sunday! How is your weekend so far? Mine is good despite the fact that I had to work all day yesterday, I did get to rappel off of the side of a 12 story building! I thought I would be a little nervous but once you lean back over the ledge and stand there for a minute it’s all good! I had a great time and I can’t wait to do it again. Here are a few pictures, I ‘m the little dot at the top!

The last picture is my friend Danielle and I all geared up. It really was a lot of fun! Now, it’s Sunday and that means it’s time for this week’s Paper Players Challenge. This week we have a theme from Anne Marie, Mother’s Day…

Perfect timing for next week! The base of my card is Melon Mambo Card Stock. I used the Ovals Collection Framelits and a piece of Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper* to cut out a frame. In the center of the frame are images from the Secret Garden Stamp Set cut out with the Secret Garden Framelits Dies. They are stamped in Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzaz. The greeting is from the Delightful Dozen Stamp Set and is stamped in Night of Navy and backed with some Night of Navy that is pierced on the edges. Ahh. Saturday, usually the beginning of my weekend but not this week. I’ll be working this morning at an Over the Edge Charity event. I’m supposed to rappel, I’ll let you know if it happens. Today’s post – Pals Paper Arts 159, colors…

Definitely not a color combination that I would have thought of but they do go quite nicely together. I decided to have some fun with the Photopolymer Stamps. The base of my card is Pool Party. I created the background using the Show & Tell 1 & 2 Photopolymer Stamps Sets. I created a pattern in Pool Party and Lucky Limeade. The circle is Lucky Limeade and embossed with the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The image is also from the Show & Tell Sets, the letters from the Designer Typeset Alphabet. Happy Friday! Not so happy for me as I have to work tomorrow. Sigh… oh well what can you do?! It was gorgeous here yesterday and is supposed to be a little chilly today and then back to beautiful tomorrow. I really do love riding around in my car with top down. It’s so nice to feel the sun and the wind on you face. Sometimes it’s the little things that make our day! What’s on tap for your weekend?

Today’s card – Create with Connie and Mary Colors #250…

A very neat color combo and I immediately thought of This & That Epic Day goodies. The base of my card is Pool Party. Some Epic Day This & That Designer Series Paper makes up the background and the hexagons that I cut out with my Paper Snips. For the chevrons I used my 1″ Square Punch to punch out some Calypso Coral. The greeting is from the Really Good Greetings Stamp Set* and is stamped in Versa-Mark and heat embossed with Pool Party Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I used the Ticket Duo Punch to punch it out and the Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack to create the backing. Super clean and simple! The base of my card is Early Espresso. The paper in the middle is Soho Subway Designer Series Paper* and I added some Crisp Cantaloupe* that is cut with the Finishing Touches Edgelit Dies. For the large flagged piece, some more Crisp Cantaloupe* embossed with the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The thanks is from the ABC & 123 Sketch Alphabet & Numbers Stamp Set* and I stamped it a little imperfect go a little better with the Lovely Labels Stamp* that is punched out with the Artisan Label Punch*. Paper Craft Crew #40 & Sneak Peek

Yeah, Wednesday! Halfway there to my Friday! How are you today? I’m pretty good. I went to my friends Brian & Kim’s house for dinner last night. We had vegetarian tacos that were yummy. I got to see the little angels too! It was a very nice day here yesterday and is supposed to be nice for the next ten days! Ahh, finally some warmer weather.

Today’s post – Paper Craft Crew Sketch #40…

I’m having so much fun playing with my new goodies! I hope that you are enjoying your sneak peeks too! The base of my card is Pear Pizzaz and the background and the pieces of paper cut out with the Hearts a Flutter Framelits are all from the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper Pack*. A Delicate Doily is behind the flower that is from the Happy Flowers Host(ess) Stamp Set*. The large flower is cut out with the Floral Frames Collection Framelits and the center is punched out with the 1 1/4″ Circle Punch. The stem is stamped on the DSP in Pear Pizzaz and the butterfly is from the Best of Butterflies Stamp Set, stamped in Night of Navy and punched out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. The greeting is from the Really Good Greetings Stamp Set and is stamped in Night of Navy. Some Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and some Rhinestones finish off the card. The base of my card is Early Espresso and the background is a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe* that I embossed with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, no tabs. The paper is from the Soho Subway Designer Series Paper Pack* which I am loving! Some Early Espresso and Soft Sky cut out with the Labels Collection Framelits and one paper-pierced are up next. The images are from the Postage Collection Stamp Set*, it’s like a build your own postage stamp set. Love it! There are so many great new goodies in the catalog I can’t wait for you to see it! Artisan Butterfly Poppy Thanks

Monday… here we go again! How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was was very nice. Yesterday I crafted and had some lunch with my friend Maureen and the child. I did a little errand running and some laundry. It was a beautiful day here yesterday too, sunny and warm. A pretty good day all around I must say.

Every once in a while I rummage through my scrap pile (which is quite large) and see if I can use anything in there to make a card. Well, today that’s how this card started. I had the base with the Print Poetry Stack Designer Series Paper on it and I went from there. I markered the the Pleasant Poppies Background Stamp in Calypso Coral and Gumball Green and backed it with some Gumball Green. The butterfly is form the Best of Butterflies 25th Anniversary Stamp Set. The greeting is backed with a stamp from the Lovely Labels Stamp Set*, punched out with the Artisan Label Punch*, the middle is from the A Fitting Occasion Stamp Set. Some ribbon and a new Very Vintage Designer Button* with some Bakers Twine finishes off the card. I hope you enjoyed my scrap pile inspired card for today. Paper Players #143 🙂

Hello and happy Sunday! How is the weekend so far? Mine is great! I had a lovely day in Manhattan with my friend Kim yesterday. We had Starbucks for breakfast and then headed downtown. A stop at the Roasting Plant Coffee shop (I really drink a lot of coffee, about 6 – 8 cups a day!) and then later on some delicious Mediterranean food just like I wanted. As an added bonus I got to drive home with the top down, I didn’t even mind the traffic! I love a Saturday like that! Since today is Sunday that means it’s time for the Paper Players!

Today’s card – Paper Players #143, a sketch from Ann…

I finally got to play with some of my new goodies last night and this is what I came up with. The base of my card is Summer Starfruit. A strip of Soho Subway Designer Series Paper* is backed with some Early Espresso and goes across the middle. The flagged pieces are Early Espresso, Island Indigo and Crisp Cantaloupe*. A piece of Soft Sky* and a piece of Very Vanilla are cut out with the Window Frames Collection Framelits and the Soft Sky one is pierced around the edge. The main greeting is from the Make a Wish Stamp set, the happy birthday is from the Label Love Stamp Set* and is punched out with the Artisan Label Punch*. Hello and welcome to Saturday! I had a very nice dinner last night with my friends. We had a lot of laughs and some amazing dessert! It had peanut butter, chocolate and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups! YUM! I’m off to Manhattan this morning to see my friend Kim and wander around and try to walk off last nights dinner. LOL! What’s on the agenda for you today?

I wanted to use some more of my Sent with Love DSP before it goes away in just three short days! The base of my card is Island Indigo. The three pieces of paper are from the Sent with Love Designer Series Paper Pack. Across the middle is some Island Indigo Ribbon from Sale-A-Bration backed with some Pool Party. The greeting and image are from the Bombs Away Birthday Photopolymer Stamp Set. The greeting is cut out with the Ovals Collection Framelits dies and the “bomb” is cut out with my Paper Snips.
