It’s Saturday, I went into Manhattan yesterday with Brian to get his passport, again, don’t ask! We stopped by The Ink Pad and I ran in and said hello to Barbara then we stopped at Max Brenner so Brian could pick up some chocolate for Kim (his Kim!). Luckily when we got to Kim’s (my Kim!) we got a space right outside the building. We had to go and get the couch, fit it in the elevator and then bring up from the basement. Thankfully it wasn’t too heavy! The traffic wasn’t too bad on the way home either. We took the old couch out of my house and put the new one in and then ran my couch over to Heather’s. While we were there we re-arranged the furniture and then I went back to Brian’s, he made me a quesadilla and then I came home and puttered around in the Stampin’ Galley for a bit. Michael got here around 10:00. We watched some TV and then called it a night. Later on today we are going to have lunch with his dad and step-mum and then tonight, much to my dismay, I will take him to the airport. I’m happy that he was here for the summer, I had a fantastic one thanks to him!
Today I have a simple masculine birthday card. The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped a piece of Solar White 80lb with the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripes Background Stamp in Simon Says Stamp Black Ink and cut it out with the Simon Says Stamp Postage Stamp Edge Frames along with a piece of Basic Black that is adhered to the striped piece with Fun Foam and SNAIL. Next up I took a piece of Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper and inked it with Simon Says Stamp Audrey Blue Ink and my Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool. It’s is then adhered to a piece of Solar White 80lb with a Glue Stick and die cut using the Simon Says Stamp Clustered Leaves Die. A few Glue Dots adhere it to the card. My greeting is from the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and adhered to the card with Foam Tape. Like I said, simple and definitely masculine! I hope that you enjoyed today’s card and I thank you so much for stopping by! Have a sensational Saturday! 🙂

Awesome card! Love how you inked the typeset dsp.
Enjoy your day!
You are one busy and ambitious guy, a furniture mover too! So long to Michael and safe travels home! I enjoyed his summer here too, through your blog! Until the next time……..
What a chic card! I really like the postage stamp border. Stripes are always great to use on masculine cards.
You made me laugh with your story about the “traveling” couches. Glad to hear none of them ended up in the landfill! LOL Sounds like playing “ring around the couches”. Too funny. Sorry that Michael is leaving but happy that you are getting to go on the wonderful trip to London. Sometimes life is just plain crazy. Love and hugs to you my friend! XO 🙂
Pretty classy Justin! Safe trips to you and Michael.
Hey Justin, I’ve really enjoyed sharing your amazing summer adventures with Michael (especially while I’m huddled by the fire trying to keep warm!) It’s sad that he has to leave, I hope he has a safe trip back. And your holiday is about to begin! I hope you have the best time, and you travel safe too! Can’t wait to see your photos 🙂 Cool card today, I must copy that one! Cheers Justin, be happy and have fun 😉 XOXO
