Paper Craft Crew 220

It was another windy, chilly day yesterday. I did get a lot accomplished at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store and Taylor even came up to see me! After work I stopped home to drop off my stuff and then headed over to Heather’s so that we could go out to Bohemia and visit our friends Patti and Tom and their two daughters. We had a nice evening and I even got to drive Heather’s new car home! Today the Store is closed but I have to run over there and wait for UPS and FedEx to deliver some packages. After that I’m going to head over to my old office and visit my former co-workers. It’s been ages since I have seen Nancy and I can’t wait to catch up with her! 😀

Today is Wednesday and time for a new Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I turned the sketch sideways and made my card that way! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the snowflakes from the Concord & 9th Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set in Delicata Golden Glitz Ink and then added a piece of American Crafts Gold Glitter Tape along the bottom right. Next up is a panel of Ice Gold Curious Metallic that I cut out with the Lawn Fawn Dotted Squares Stackables Lawn Cuts. The panel is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My cup, spoon and marshmallows are from the Concord & 9th Let’s Chat Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed all of the images, the cup in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder and the spoon in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder both onto Gold Mirror Card. The marshmallows are heat embossed in more white onto a piece of Solar White 110lb and I cut all of the images out with my Scissors. The JOY is cut from American Crafts Gold Glitter Card using the Concord & 9th Joy Die. All of the pieces are adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins for some extra sparkle and the card is done! I love the gold with the white, it makes for a very subtle and elegant card don’t you think? 1. Good morning Justin. Great take on the sketch and great card. Enjoy your day off and tell everyone at the old joint that I say Hey!

    1. Good morning Michael! Thank you very much! I will definitely enjoy the day! I will pass along your hello’s to the old crew! 🙂

  2. Love this card Justin! I’m starting to think that this is one of your favorite stamp sets ever. LOL Golden Glitz – what a fantastic name for an ink pad. I’d buy it just for the name! This card would certainly brighten anyone’s day.

We are having the same weather you are. Cool and windy. Everyone seems to be bustling about getting ready for tomorrow or planning out their attack map for Black Friday. Personally you couldn’t pay me enough to go shopping on Friday. Too many people, not enough parking spaces and the restaurants all have waiting lines 45 minutes long. No thanks. I know some people who think all of that is fun but that is definitely not for me. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving, you certainly have a lot to be thankful for. Love and happiness to you my friend. XXOO 🙂

    1. Thanks you Grace! I do really like the set and can’t believe that I didn’t get it when it first came out! The ink is really nice and dries pretty fast which isn’t the norm for a metallic pad!
I used to go black Friday shopping but i’m over it! Too many people too many lines, not worth it! I will be having a nice laid back day and hope that you have the same! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

  5. Oh that love-in-a-mug set again! Gonna have to get that, too. I know I tease you about your multitudinous enabling, but I do actually enjoy seeing what else it out there in the world. So much to choose from! So, enable with abandon, my friend!
