I had a nice quiet but productive Sunday. I got a bunch of cleaning done, vacuumed the inside of my car and ran a few errands wth Taylor. There was a little TV watching thrown in there too. It was a nice sunny day so being outside was a definite must. Not a terrible way to spend a Sunday! Today more fun at the Store! 😀
What’s the best way to chase away the Monday’s? Why with a new Mojo Monday Sketch of course…
My card starts with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I ran a strip of Ballerina Pink, with the end flagged, down the center. Next up is a piece of Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes Petite Paper that I cut with the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables and adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I used the Lawn Fawn Fab Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set to create some patterned paper of my own, stamping the rose in Ballet Slippers and Minty Fresh. It’s cut out with the Lawn Fawn Large Dotted Squares Stackables Lawn Cuts. On top and to the lower left of that is a piece of Kraft that I cut out with the Lawn Fawn Small Dotted Circles Stackables and adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. More flowers are stamped and cut out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts and adhered to the Kraft Circle with more 3D Foam Squares. My greeting is from the Lawn Fawn Happy, Happy, Happy Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the Happy in Ballet Slippers and cut it out with the Coordinating Lawn Cut and the rest of the greeting is stamped in Minty Fresh onto a strip of Solar White 80lb and adhered to the card with still more 3D Foam Squares. I love the subtle look of the flower stamped in the same color for both layers! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Thank you Nancy! 🙂
This is a beautiful spring-like, airy card with the pastel coloring, Justin. Love that stamp set with dies. You are maintaining your “enabler” title!! Glad you had a great Sunday. I had some downtime, which was badly needed after three very busy weeks and another coming up starting today. Take care. Have a great Monday.
Thanks HJ! I too love that set! I have to keep that title up somehow! LOL! I’m happy that you had a nice day too! Hope your Monday is going well! 🙂
The roses in your card today are just breathtaking. That was a pretty detailed sketch to work with and you pulled it off beautifully. It sounds like you had a very productive Sunday. I hate vacuuming my car!!!!! Lucky for me when it gets really bad and the hubs gets sick of hearing me complain about it, he will do it. LOL You know the old saying “A happy wife makes a happy life”! You have yourself a magnificent Monday my friend. Love and hugs to you! XXOO 🙂
Thank you Grace! I always like to Mojo Sketches! I did have a productive day and it felt good to get rid of stuff! I don’t enjoy vacuuming the car either but I definitely needed to be done! Hope you are enjoying your day! Love and hugs back to you! XOXO 🙂
