Paper Craft Crew 247

Ahh… the middle of the week. Once again zipping by! Another cloudy, misty, rainy day here. Lots of crafting in the morning, a little TV and some planning. I got to see Daniel and Tristan for a bit. My Brother and Erika went to see a concert at Jones Beach, Erika was quite excited about the night out! Taylor came by and we hung out for a while, I love my child, she’s such a good person! Hopefully it will not be raining today and I can get outside for a bit. I think I’m suffering from Sun deprivation! ๐Ÿ˜€

So what do we have for a Wednesday post? Why this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch of course…

Nice and simple! I started my card by heat embossingย the images from the Concord & 9th Many Mandalas Photopolymer Stamp Set onto 48lb Vellum and Blueprint Curious Metallic. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out and layered them on top of one another. To adhere them to my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I used some 3M Foam Tape. The happy birthday is from the same set and is stamped in Hero Arts Navy Ink onto the card base. A few sequins from the Little Things by Lucy Nautical and Brushed Gold Mixes and the card is done! I love that Mandalas set, especially heat embossed on the different papers! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! There is more inspiration over on the BLOG so go and check it out! Thanks so much for your visit! I wish you all a wonderful Wednesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Great interpretation of the sketch and wonderful use of the Many Mandellas stamp set and dies. The deep navy ink and card stock contrasts so well. Love it!

  3. That gold/navy com,bo is beautiful!

I am mentally exhausted and so glad it is hump day! Had to work downtown today. Once I get there I love it, the view is breathtaking, right on the lake, the nurses are awesome and I so love the patients. But its a flippin two hour drive each way….and of course the idiot drivers who cut you off, drive on the shoulder, pass then hit the brakes. etc. I have no clue how folks drive that every day

    1. Thanks Linda! I do love a little navy and gold always works!
I’m sure that it is really nice seeing the views but getting there is not fun, I know! Too bad there is no public transport that you could take.
