Paper Craft Crew 258

It was overcast here all morning and then the rain started around 2:00. I went over to Heather’s and we ran some errands, had a little lunch and then did an early Thirsty Thursday last night with Stephanie. Not bad for a rainy Tuesday! I’ll get back to my cleaning and purging this morning. I can’t seem to stop which is a good thing! 😀

For our mid-week fun I have my Paper Craft Crew card…

Maybe it was the gloom and chill yesterday but I felt compelled to make a winter card. LOL! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For my background I used a piece of paper from the Trim Craft Silent Night 6×6 Paper Pad with a piece of Soft Sky across the bottom and then a flagged piece of Smoky Slate along the center. The images and greeting are from the Hero Arts Kelly’s S’Mitten Stamp & Cut and they are stamped in Soft Granite and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I adhered the panel to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner and the Snow Day and Mittens with 3D Foam Squares with a little Silver Thread behind. Five Pretty Pink Posh Silver Sequins finish the card. I’m not looking forward to the colder weather but I do love me some winter colors! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you so much for coming by! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

  1. Our day in Delaware was also gloomy most of the day as well. Your card is cute for a winter card. I like the background paper and the mittens and greeting in Soft Granite. I’m always getting ideas from you because I would never think of using the granite, but it works perfectly. I’m more of a bright-color person. I like this because it gives me a new perspective. Have a wonderful day, my friend.

    1. A day out that’s gloomy is better than a day in HJ! LOL! Thank you! I love a nice light grey and blues for the Holiday’s! Glad that I could give you some inspiration! Hope you enjoyed your day! 🙂
